[Resolved]  Bmw Parsoli Motors / Bmw 520D — Dissatisfaction of product and services

Dear Sir,

First of all, I would like to introduce myself as Saumil Purohit, who has be patronizing the brand BMW since 2006.
I earlier used the 320d model and later bought the 520d in the month of March 2011.
It is with great regret that I have to inform, now that almost 4 months have passed, I regret buying the BMW 520d.
The journey with BMW, which started smoothly, now seems a rough ride with the BMW dealers here in Ahmedabad.
It started at the time of the delivery of the car, which was unnecessarily delayed, and at last when delivered, it was in a very bad condition. Even the papers of the car were received almost a month later. I was not even verbally explained the functions of the car at the time of delivery, leave alone the benefits.

After the first rains, when the car started having problems (with not even a quarter year passed), and one fine day, I was left stranded in the middle of the road with a useless 520d which did not agree to start. Finally, to my rescue came a Maruti Alto, which now I think is safer to drive than the BMW as it does not stop running suddenly in the middle of no where. Finally I had to give my car for repair when it suddenly stopped on my way to the airport. Lucky me, I nearly missed my flight to China. After the repairs, when the bills were submitted I was surprised to see that it was blown out of proportion according to me. I asked them if there was a way out (The bill amount Rs 61000 is even more than your yearly BMW Secure contract amount). And I was horrified with the answer I got. I was told, that there is this service called BMW Secure which covers all there expenses but is offered at the time of purchase only and now it was not available for me. And on telling the executive that I was not offered it at the time of purchase, he talks to me as if I was lying.

This is not the kind of service you expect after purchasing a luxury car which boasts about its credentials so much. After this incident, I feel cheated and the only thing which comes to my mind is that the reason for not informing me would be to reap the benefits from customers who do not have BMW Secure. It only gives a malicious turn to the whole BMW experience.

Please understand that the only thing differentiates this company with an other company, is the quality of product and services they offer in return of the price they charge. The quality of product failed when the car left me helpless in the middle of the road and they also lost a chance of proving their quality in service by giving such a cold and vague response.

I am very disturbed with the kind of service I am receiving from BMW and that is the only reason I am writing to you. I feel disgustingly cheated by one of the most reputed companies in the world. I would request you to look into the matter and give me the due respect and service as a BMW customer should get. I also request you to guide me and show me a way to avail your BMW Secure service. Please let me know who should I further contact / request, the dealer in Ahmedabad, the Head Office in India or the Head Office in Germany?
