[Resolved]  Bosch Car Service — Poor service & cheating in spare part cost as more than MRP

Dear sir
I have given my chevrolet spark car for service in BOSCH Authorized car service centre in coimbatore named M/s AUTOZONE ,R.s puram,MTP Road,coimbatore. i have given my vehicle first time here instead of General motor service centre since i trusted the name BOSCH. but i got a very bad experience with this people & now i feel GM service centre far better than Bosch.. my experience as follows
1.They charged for fuel filter (GM Made)as rs.981 +tax ,where as MRP of this product itself (GM Made)461+tax even in GM showroom itself.
2.For airl filter they charged Rs.750+tax, where as orginal cost of this product is 180+tax ( both are GM made only)
3.For changing of oil (3 litres) incl labour charges they charged Rs.1400+tax.. where as last time i paid with GM service centre only Rs.900 incl of tax..
4.apart from they have charged regular labour charge as Rs.1800+tax which is almost double than any car service centre in india for this small cars.
5.they charged of rs.300 for only outside water wash which is highly irritating .( i never paid more than 200 rs in GM service centre including a in side claening too)
6. ttally without any complaints in car i have to pay Rs.5400 for normal service . (still the car is in service centre only)

THIS GUYS ARE CHEATING US LIKE ANYTHING.

charging the cost for spare parts for more than MRP is an offence, i am thinking to file a case against them.

I had given my four wheeler ford fusion with the vehicle No KA02 MA 65xx in Yelahanka fast wheels for the small issue . And they say after 1 month it's a engine failure!

I will brief you the issue why have I given the vehicle to the service center : -

My vehicle is integrated with the with lavotto gas (Automatic) and there issue with the petrol its giving jerk if we raise the escalator till its switch over to gas, vehicle is in good condition and running well .(same has been seen by the supervisor and taken vehicle for the service ) For this reason I had given vehicle for service along with the general service in the day of 28 march 2017 as per the attached JOC

Later which I had got the first call from the Fast wheels saying there is water / Oil mixed in your petrol tank because of that there is issue with the petrol mode, I asked them to change entire petrol from the tank.

For next 15 days I don’t got any calls and I have personally visited to service center and asked for update and then they have said there is issue with the head, they have switched on the vehicle and I found coolant was boiling / there is smoke coming out of engine, and there is leakage of coolant water from the engine. And they have said it’s a engine issue and it cost 60 -80 thousand and asked for advance amount. As I was not ready with the money I had given advance of 20, 000 in the month of July 2017.

And when I asked? “ how can engine break down immediately where I was given vehicle by driving self and bosch technician has taken the vehicle by test drive “ and he himself has given the JOC (job order card )and for that they have replied “ these are all automobile cant say, it suppose to be break down in the road and its our bad luck its break down here “ responded in the negligence way.

I was never expected this kind of manner from bosch service center .No care of customer for every thing they bare the cost to the customers .

It’s almost close to one year till now my vehicle is not delivered nor its ready for handover . I have visited bosch service center in the January 10th 2018 and they said they will handover vehicle in next 2 days and I am continually following up every 3 – 4 day but they say either next Monday you come and collect vehicle /no response (Ringing no response ) from bosch service center .(Almost 1 month )

I had good experience in bosch Uttarahalli main road I has collected my brother in low vehicle, the customer treatment was well and vehicle as given in the good and neat condition thinking that I had given my vehicle to bosch service center yelahnaka because this was nearest service center.

I am fed – up with this kind of experience even a small gurrege center guy will have comman sense to answer that call of the customers if not to call back if there is missed call.

I had called customer care and complainant and mailed all the issues to bosh mailbox.[protected]@in.bosch.com and waiting for the possitive responce

You should go for legel as they are doing the same in Jaipur too. My Palio came back from service centre
with additional problems and I do not dare to take it back to them when I heard the chief mechanic was calling my car (Fiat Palio) as Tata Indigo so that is the literacy level there.

Mine was also the similar case. I sent Honda Civic for general service n check up at M/s Road X Automotives, Agra, which is an authorized workshop by BOSCH.

The attitude while taking the car in their custody was not not very pleasant as when I asked bout the service charge, they said the I'll be informed later but it should be somewhere between 600- 1000 bucks, and delivery time was promised some 8 hrs later, whereas the Honda service center only takes 4-6 hours.

I called them at the time promised, but the call wasn't received, and when I sent someone. he saw the vehicle parked in the same condition as he parked while in the morning, which means the work wasn't started yet.

He asked me for 1-2 more hours, and after 4 hours i.e. 10 P.M., the owner Mr Sumit Sahani said that we need some 4 more hrs for the job and it shall be delivered at 2 PM next day. I asked the reason for delay, he said we have replaced the BRAKE PADS which consumed a lot of time, and the bill was somewhere around Rs.3000. The work was done without my consent or prior information.

However, I left the car there. next day some person from the workshop called me at 8P.M. (while I was again promised to deliver it by 2 PM ) and asked me to collect the car and pay a sum of Rs. 5075. and when I asked for the description, he said I cant give U the details.

Next morning, that means 3rd day (Three days for a service???), ?. I again called them up and asked for the details, he denied to give me the details saying that they don't have enough time to describe about the jobs done.

And then The stupid and ill-mannered owner of the workshop Mr. Sumit Sahani took the call and repeated the same words and said that why are you asking for the bill amount and why have you bought the car if you arent able to afford the maintainence costs, then he abused me and ordered me to collect the car otherwise he'll charge Rs. 1000 per day as parking charges and shall take legal action against me. I was stunned to hear his his words and collected the car after paying the billed amount.


My question here is- Is that a BOSCH service station or some 'SADDAM HUSSEIN' certified station.

Got my Indiac V2 serviced at Highway Garage, Durgapur - 713 212 on 24.10.2011. Quality of service was poor with dirt spot on roof top. They reportedly used wuerth Engine flush & cleaner without prior information/consent and charged Rs.451.00. Charged Rs.1, 314.00 towards 5 ltrs. of castrol std 15w40 against specified requirement of 4 ltrs. Charged for tie member bend repairing but the same is still knocking. Cost of filter price charged are high in comparioson to market rates.
Anomalies were pointed out to Service centre Manager on 27.10.11 and he after checking the matter, acknowledged the genuine grievances and assured to refund the cost of 1 ltr. mobil, engine flush oil cost and a free service with tie member repair. But to no effect till date.

Bosch car Service — Bad service

I am not at all satisfied with the service provided by the Bosh car Service Rajouri Garden for swift DL 7CH 3857, The attitude of the service owner Mr. Sumit Sodhi and their worker was not good, After spending 15000 on my car and they took 3days without providing me an alternative car even on request while they promise to provide me the car same day, I am not at all satisfied with the quality of service provided by them almost half of my queries were not sold even my Bonnet of swift is damaged by the dealer and now they are claiming that it was already damaged and My was better before spending 15000 in Bosh car service. I will suggest everyone never go to Rajouri garden Bosh dealer for service of your car, being a Lawyer I am planning to file a case against them in consumer forum for compensation.

No proper management, no proper staff and poor service
Bosch service centre (insider story),

1. It is usual practice of all Bosch centres to initially give low estimate to customer so that you do not take back your car to authorised serivice centre.
2. Once your car is there and you have left they will call you and come up with more issues in your car and minimum 40% bill is appreciated.
3. I was also told that the same is done on instructions from the owner of service centres so no benefit if you complain to their complain id/ customer service
4. If your car stays there for more than two days than be confident that some of your original parts will be taken out and replaced with duplicate.
5. There is very big market for original old parts
6. They will always try to replace as many electronic parts as possible since these parts do not have any warranty and you have to pay every time you get it replaced. So most of the times they put duplicate part at the price of original when you get that part replaced for first time so that you come back again to them.

My only suggestion is STOP USING ANY KIND OF AUTHORISED SERVICE CENTRES AND LOOK FOR GOOD LOCAL MECHANICS. They will hear you..

staring, car ac, flashing, and service thereafter with in month i have lot of pblm in my car engine. so again i visit they told me car injector pblm. car ac pblm so i have doubt in it. so i give my car somewhere outside nd they told me everything is ok wiring is not done propeerly and becaue of not tight screw ac gas has been leak. now again i vist bosch service center for gas refile . mr, gulathi given me again new bill. what the hell service is this. very poor service nd un skilled machinc.

still my car is in service center. i request you to please help me to get back my car. and i am not paying any charges. i had already pay aprox 13000/-.inr

They are charging too much. They don't even have experienced and skilled machanic. Zaira motors, ignou road Delhi. Worst servicing. My car even got a sound while taking back. It was perfect when I gave them my car. They say I have to change the shockers now.

Autozone Bosch Car service center Coimbatore is one of the worst. The manager is the best of al stupid I have ever met. I have given my Honda city for service and the goons there spilled petrol on floor mats of back space. And the smell remains still after a week of service. When I called the manager, he said I cannot guarantee all these kind of mistakes. Everyone makes mistakes. He is preaching. Damn words from a manager. I paid 25000 for not even cleaning the car properly. 550 for wash and no interior touch. Exterior also full of dust and they claim that they have did water wash. Manager is a liar, show off, talks in English to common man and show case him. Bloody

Hi,
I have changed the suspension kit at bosch car service (Times motors, hegde nagar) for fiat linea diesel.They have cheated me in spares and labour. I have paid almost 57k bill .After few kms car started wobbling in breaking.again i have dropped my car for fixing.Same day night i got the delivery and morning when c the car front bumper & grill got broke and seems screws are adjusted.This person is not genuine and dont know any thing about car he talks about Merc, audi & BMW.I dont know how i will be justified with my issue ..Please take some action on this guys ..
Very bad experience in avadi_ Chennai Bosch Anna automobiles in govarthanagiri centre.i sent my vehicle for AC work.but there poor service and mishandling of electrical circuit my my stereo got short circuit. Stereo not working after first day of service.when I enquired to center main mechanic and owner, first they accept their mistakes and get my stereo for repair work.over 6 week after that they said which is not service fault.we cont do anything for that.very good condition stereo s not working after first day of AC work. Main thing s they r not given bill also for this service.they r not fraudulent for govt also for billing to avoid gst .. anyway I lost my stereo after their poor service.so my sincere advice don't go Anna service centre Bosch in govarthanagiri avadi Chennai.
Dear sir/madam
It is to inform you that on 22.02.2021, I visited to my nearest Bosch Car Service Centre for the first time, situated at 4/43, SITE-II, LONI ROAD, I.A MOHAN NAGAR GHAZIABAD (U.P) -201007 [NEAR HINDON AIR FORCE] to get my Maruti car repaired . After checking my car, the official at service centre informed me that they will repair the Boot and install new Bumper with terms and conditions that colour of Boot and Bumper will match with the original colour of the car. I handed over the car to the officals of the service centre. The officals told that they will deliver my car on friday i.e [[protected]] but unfortunately they did not deliver the car on 26th Feb. instead asked me to come again on Sunday .

On sunday before collecting the car I checked the car and found some scratches on the right side gates and on front Bumper which clearly shows negligence on the part of the BOSCH Service Centre officals. Repaired Boot and Bumper colour is also not matching with original car colour.

I lodged a complaint with the officials about this. They assured me that they will resolve this problem within a day. But to my dismay I have visited the service centre thrice but my complaint has not been is resolved. Behaviour of the officials at the service centre was not cooperative.

It is requested to look into the matter and issue appropriate instruction to the concerned persons to resolve my complaint in a time bound period .
