I have received a phone bill showing usage of Internet too high.
The amount is INR 7390.
The user is only a student studying in std. X
It is not possible to get this much usage of internet.
The BSNL has issued the bill of INR. 8555 which includes the above amount.

I need to have a detailed usage of internet during the month of Dec. 2007.
I am having BSNL Broadband connection at my residence. There is no provision to track the broad-band usage. Incidentally, my usage was within the broadband rental (Rs.250/month) upto Jan-08. But for the month of Feb-08, I find broadband usage chargge of Rs.568/- which is highly unjustifiable as there was much lesser usage compared to previous months. There is no proper response from BSNL and nobody is owning the responsibility.
Nobody is there to take the billing complaint on telephonically. I have tried many times to the billing complaint Telephone but there was no response.

Much before providing me Dataone Broadband internet service,
it was already heavily in use by some Hacker. BSNL bill for January 2008 to me
was abnormally high because of this. When I brought this to their
notice, they do not accept and still send huge bill for March 08
also. I cannot pay for services not used by me, nor, I wish to be
cheated this way by BSNL after creating in me full confidence in
their service. Though I requested for separate Bills for Internet and Telephone
in my application, they have clubbed it and showing arrears.
They should rather compensate me, a senior citizen,
for the torture they have given this way.
I totally agree with u. I have a plan which was well within the specified limits for 7 months. Since Mar 08, There is an enormous surge in the uage, which subsequently is leading to a huge bill running to thousands. The response from the dept is useless or outright rude and they insist that I had used it, since the connecion is bound to my modem. However, they dont have technical ansywers to my queries and they are saying I need yo pay up.

I m just irritated since the usage surge is associated with my internet going down and I call support who give the same password and that is an easily guessable one with the combination like 3 char of city, 3 chanracters of the user ID and numbers, which can be easily cracked if they know the format and everyone in the dept know the sequesnce. If I change my password. my interent stops working and the password is again reset to teh default.

Written complaint has not elicited any response and whn I spoeak to their helpdesk, I m asked to convert to unlimited 750/- plan. I suspect a nexus, trying to push people on 250 and 500 plan to unlimited by resorting to this tactic. The help desk is insisting on me paying the bill or converting to 750, while not getting to the root cause of this problem. They are trying to avoid the complaint by asking me to switch over to 750, since I wud not care any more abt the usage, since it unlimited

My bill is being excess charged by your company for the March & April month. So please take care of this incorrect billing & suggests me what to do about this matter.
BSNL has provided a way to assess your own browsing attitude and to measure your session to session usage of mb. perhaps these high side bills could have been avoided had u paid a little attention to the procedure prescribed. now there is an unlimited plan of 750 INR per month which will cater all your high side requirements. I feel and believe that BSNL is the best service with great reliability high speed and accurate billing. HOpe u enjoy more broadband with bsnl

I applied for a BSNL home 500 broadband connection on phone 2420592 and got it on 21 feb, 2008.But I have not received a single bill till now.At last BSNL disconnects my internet connection without any notice and more to my surprise when I inquired for a duplicate bill, I found that 3961/- Rupees for 3 month bill and modem charges.

But according to my calculation the bill should be

Modem charge=1200(bought modem from BSNL)
+
3 month internet charge=(500+12% tax) x 3
+
call charges + rental= 0 (as in home 500 plan there is no extra charge for phone or any rental )
= 2880

If added service charge for modem then 2880+144=3124 Maximum.

But according to BSNL bill,

on[protected]=1998 + (SC)40 + 125 =2163
on[protected]=754 + (SC)20 + 125 = 909
on[protected]=754 + 125 =889
total=3961/- Rupees

I have been using broad band for the last four months in the Rs.250/- home plan scheme.The first month bill was Rs.1200.Second moth it came aboutRs.2200/- third month it was Rs.4500/-.At this time I changed it to Home plan 500.Even after that my bill was Rs.5496/- As I am an ordinary house wife, I do not know what my user id or pass word for the broad band. I use it only for one or two hours a day. Please help me...

Dear Gentlemen,
It was shocking to receive a bill amount of this kind as my usage is very limited and specific.
We as professionals are not equipped to keep a check on hacking of password nor have the time to fight and look for the loop holes in your system.
I have paid the bill in protest and will discontinue the services if this kind of bills is received in the coming months. I understand that a customer of my size does not make any different to BSNL but the bill of this size makes a big difference to us.
We could not get the debit detail for the June month as we did not receive the detail bill by mail and duplicate bill does not give the details.
It is also surprising for the company of the size BSNL is that there is no system in place from the telecom company to HELP the customer.
1. The customer should be giving an option o[censored]sing the broadband service from one telephone number only so that the hacker cannot misuse it.
2. Secondly there should be a credit limit for the customer’s usage so that they are not shocked by this kind of bills.
3. Thirdly a company of BSNL size should be able to handle and track down the misuse of information / data.
4. Provide us with the detail usage of the broadband (or the Link if available on the internet) in the month bills.
I understand that u will we pressed with complains of this nature but it will be of great help i[censored] could look into the details personally and reply on the same.

I am using 500c plan. In this plan during 2am to 8am usage is free. But many days they are charged me during free period, and got excess bill of around Rs.4000. I complained to BSNL, but they didn't corrected my bill.

that they have to fix a usage limit and we are not at all countable for them

my self Praveen Mandal I'm working with Aviva Life insurance comp ltd as an sales manager and also doing MBA from ICFAI distance learning course.

I have taken BSNL broadband connection[protected] in Home 250 Plan for my MBA studies and within a month I have submitted a application for change plan to unlimited one i.e. Home 900+ on 14/02. BSNL officials accepted my application and assured me that will be changed soon and only next day I have received a call from BSNL officials mentioning that plan have been changed. So, I started using it as a unlimited one.
But to my surprise I have received a bill on 16/03 with Amount Rs. 50000/- as my usage charge, I rushed to the official and to ask the complete detail they told me that I have used so I have to pay the same. I rushed to DM with written complaint and to my surprise they handed over me a debit note dated 14/02 itself of Rs. 900/-. He assured me everything will be corrected just meet CAO, from that day three to four days a week i'm visiting CAO & IFA for requesting to correct the same.

but all things gone to vein they declared me defaulter and issued a letter to all telecom companies and cc to me that not to issue any connection to me.

Then I contacted lawyer he suggested me not to go to consumer forum as I don't have much mony for security deposit and to wait.
Now I have received a summon-letter mentioning that I have to be in court on 18/12 for the legal case against me.

I got a broadband connection in August/2008.The billing was normal upto Oct/08 i.e.Landline chrage +dataone chrage 250.But suddenly in the month of Dec/2008 they have have submitted a bill of Rs.51000/- as arrear as usage charges saying that uses charges were not counted by them due to the software problem in the previous month.Plz advice me what to do.
For me the broadband usage in Jan-2009 bill is as below:

Whereas the total broadband usage i.e. Chargeable Units(MB) Excluding Night Unlimited is 715.79

As i have a 1GB i.e. 250 rupees connection so, it will never cross Rs. 250/-

Interestingly i found all BSNL bills has the span of last day of earlier month to last day of current month. so, they may charge last day in both the bill.

What can i do?

BSNL Broadband Internet Connection — Excess billing for the month of August 2008

I am a subscriber to BSNL broadband connection under the HOME 250 plan. My regular usage bill doesn't exceed the basic amount. In august I wad billed for usage of Rs.2655 in addition to the minimum charges. My complaintof 25-Sep-2008 was replied stating that "Broad Band usage throughout for the above period is from the same port and PC only", without mentioning the usage details. When asked for the details I was told that the same can be viewed from the bsnl port, which when I log on displays the message FORBIDDEN ZONE. Kindly advise me on this.
Broadband USAGE charges in my bill no.58465175 for the month of 01.03.09 for Rs.12898/- is invalid . Should be removed immediately. I am already paying Rs.250/- under Home-250 Plan. My monthly billing amount remains between 450 to 500/-. I protest strongly against this unathourised Usage amount included in the bill. I am not going to pay this amount.

I am using broadband for past 1 year, have never excess billing before.but from march 2009 and now in april 2009 I viewed some extra unit charges in my broadband usage details..it often happend that my computer is connected but i'm not surfing, or using or downloading.I am noticing a huge kb like 100000 is being attached with my usage details..i have no clue how it can be possible..please help!!!

I have applied for the BSNL Broand Band 500C scheme and that too in Mela offer by BSNL on 12 Feb 09. But no offer is implemented till now. Already I have paid all the bills. I have visited so many times to Yelahanka BSNL Telecom office. I complained so many times, there was no use.

BSNL 500 Broadband plan — excessive billing

Sorry for raising the compliant late since i was not available these days.
The problem is that i was charged excessively for the month of June and got the bill in july
Total volume MB--- 2026.49 so after removing the night usage between 2-8am i calculated i got only 573,341 MB as usage so pls check why it was excessively charged for extra Rs 400

Pls do this adjustment in the current running amount or do pay back this amount.

I check my usage regularly.I use my internet in such a way that my usage is around 1.5GB only.

Now check this.
my unbilled amount for next 3 days i.e. 26, 27, 28 sums up to 1200MB.IMPOSSIBLE.by this my unbilled amount has shoot up to 2.5GB making it an additional 0.80ruppee x 1000MB=800Rupees
and my plan is 500Rs.
AM I A FOOL to pay this?
I will go to BSNL office..and if they listen its okay..or else I am filing case in Consumer Forum as I have all proofs.

i, ve got my bsnl broadband net connection (unlimited plan), my use is for net gaming..but this connection is really sad.In evry30 mins the link fails once and comes bak again within 1 min.Due to this i cant complete even a single game.And literally there is no use of this net service for me...and for a bill worth 800Rs/month BSNL provides you with sad services...LAME...I contacted the "costomer care" and they did nothing to cure this!

In Dehradun for the last 3 months the new system of bill gereation specially for broadband is totally wrong. Customers who are under Broadband plan 500C must note that BSNL is provinding them the free usage of 1.5GB i.e. 1.5 X 1024=1536MB and for extra usage more than1536MB the customers has to pay Rs1 per MB. But in actual it is not so.
If the customer look at the current bills thoroughly, everybody can notice that in the new bill system first of all the total usage is getting calculated and after that only there it is discounted. But here is a big mistake. As you see for 1526MB free usage the BSNL is giving discount of only Rs1226.82 which has no logic. In actual as per Rs1 per MB free usage for 1526MB it should be Rs1526.
So, Broadband Customers of Dehradun, please get alert. If you are skipping your Broadband bills, you are paying extra amount to BSNL from your pocket.
Not only this, the phone call amount calculation is also totally wrong.

sir as per my portal id i checked my usage for the month of april. for these 8 days my usage is crossed 1700 mb. i just did only chatting andu checking mails. and i downloaded some softwares in the time ofmorning 7 am. my plane is 500c. i am not getting why its happen. plz let me know weather its correct or not. i can say very confidently its a wrong bill..

I am Nazeeya Banu and our landline number is [protected]. we had got COMBO HOME 500 plan and are using the internet facility for the past two years. So far we have never received bills exceeding Rs.650 - 700/- for using the internet facility. To our surprise for the past two months (bill dates: 10/10/2010 and 10/11/2010) we have been receiving bills of amount Rs.1048/- and Rs,1041/-. But the internet itself was not getting connected properly for this past one month. There seemed to be some connection problem. I had made the complaint regarding this, twice last month. Still there is this problem.
Moreover we are using the internet only for the domestic purposes and we do not do much downloading also. This is shocking for us. I paid the last month bill amount Rs.1048/- but this time i want to know the reason for getting such huge amount, almost double of what we were paying so far.
Moreover we are also metered of extra calls while we are sure of not have made such extra calls other than the free calls..
I want to complaint on this excess billing and meter charging and want the officials to take immediate action on the above complaint at the earliest

we have a complaint about bsnl broadband services we are using bsnl broadband for a long time but in last two months the billing is excessive we are using broadband for more than a year but never had such bills before we have a plan of home plan of RS500 but our bill in the month of dec 2010 wasRS2892 with the broadband rent and in the month of jan 2011 was RS 3301 with broadband service there was no calls from bsnl offce about exceess usage we hasd registered the complaint on bsnl site but we had no response from there side we had complaint on 22.1.2011 and on 29.1.2011 but there is no response from there side so we need your help to get justice and we are excepting from you to get the matter solved

With due respact, i want to say that i have Land Line Phone no.[protected] with Broad Band Home 500 Plan, in which free download/upload is 2.5 GB. I regularly received bill and made payment upto January 2011.
In February 2011 i did not got bill. I got hand made bill from Deoghar Exchange Office with arrear dues of Rs. 2682.00 only(Rupees Two Thousand Six Hundrad Eighty Two only) on 01.03.2011. I have paid the demanded amount on 01.03.2011.
According to B. S. N. L. Portal on Intrenet, my used units (GB) is –
Nov.[protected].843 GB
Dec.[protected].89 GB
Jan.[protected].16 GB I have not used phone in these month for long period.
So, please varify the total uses and give me bill for which you have charged that amount. If i have deposited in excess, then i shall be thankful if you will adjust tha amount.

Upto Jan.2011 I regularly received bill by post. after that we get hand made bill on demand from Deoghar exchange, which is not in details. They mention Phone No. and total of payable amount.
Please arrange to send detail bill by post as before or start giving information of bill through internet.

    I have a post paid connection from BSNL Chennai, my cell no. is[protected], for last several months, BSNL is charging RS 10.00 per month for Hamshakal Services, for which they have not asked my permission. Please stop charging for Hamshakal as I have not opted for that. Due to such unauthorized charges I am losing hope from your organisation and may be forced to join a private company. Please stop charging unauthorised money, its illegal and immoral.Thank you.

      The following connection from BSNL[protected] under the name of Sandeep Nayyar was given in July . even after numerous complaints at various level. Till date the phone is out of order. I have been regularly paying the bills without making a single call. All the complaints made have fallen to deaf ears and there is no solution to it.
      land line no.[protected] is not working since 10 days.

        I have been poor performance of BSNL broadband connection.LInk never gets stable.
        I have logged 100 's of complains , but no body wants to resolve the problem.

        I am residing at Laketown kolkata. I strongly believe BSNL is the example of worst performance in entire india. And I will like to advise each new customer getting bsnl connection , think 100 times before u get it , because letter hey will not even allow you to drop the connection easily.

        From 24 th dec,2007 i got broad band connection from bsnl.from that day itself some one is using my connection,since the connection is protected by password ,i strongly believe the culprit is with in the exchange.how can i trap this guy.i send acomplaint to bsnl no reply from their end.now am plannig to give this media,may be some one can help on this.

        We had applied for broad band connection during Jan08 and now its March 08 and still there is no response from the department. While private operators turn around in a week to 15 days time, we are finding that BSNL is not even willing to respond on the status.         Dear Sir/ Mam,

        I am using ur land line from last 12 year, before 2 month I have taken ur broadband connection plan 750 unlimited, but same day it is not working, i payed my first bill amount 3074. I complain so many time against broadband connection but till now no action has been taken. i am mentilly frustrate by BSNL services given by ghaziabad off. BSNL is best in all services but this kind o[censored]noffical practice going with me it is not good.
        If my broadband connection is not working properly what is the benefit of this connection. i am working person and no time to went daily too ur off. i have done more than 100 calls to different contact NO. so take this matter seriously and take action quickly as soon as possible.

        dataone — Worst Speed & Linking Failure

        BSNL Dataone, one of the worst broadband service seen by me.
        When i first got it installed it worked fine for few days but now the service is worst than ever. the speed is getting slower than ever. they offer to give 256kbps min speed, all Bakwas. The download speed goes to max 50kbps and average is 25kbps, which my cellphone gprs also gives me.
        last but not the least...
        recently changed my dataone plan to home 500c, so that i can surf and download things from 2am to 8am (Unlimited period). from the day i have given the request after a week the adsl link doesn't get steady. the link fail continuously after 5 minutes.
        i think the bsnl should change their name to "Bhikhari Sanchar Nigam Limited". and also the Change the Dataone To "DataNONE" service. As after the Dataone connected you Dont even get a data.

        BSNL — BroadBand Internet & Telephone Problems.

        We are using BSNL landline no.[protected], since many years, we got its broadband internet connection about 2 years ago. Since then, the internet Link connection is not comming properly. We have complaint it many a time to various authorities concerned. Also the problem faced is that while using internet the quality of sound while talking on phone gets badly affected. Authorities always give us numbers of some other fellow to contact, but always the problem remains unattended. For instance if we call to customer care they say call to internet customer care no. then they say call to technical staff then they say talk to SDO, we dont know where to go actually now. Best option would be not using internet & landline phone.

        Bsnl Broadband Connection — No service after 7 pm and till 10 am in the morning

        I applied for the unlimited download package and it seams that the past few days there has been a regular patten.The net connection disconnects and when i restart the modem, it does not connect anymore.i tested it and it seems it comes back to good working condition the next day.This is not what i am paying for.

        24/7 net connection + unlimited download is what i subscribed for.

        with 2 mbps connection i only get like 32 ~ 50 kbps or less once it went to 16 ~ 25 kbps.(i checked it on BSNL Speed check)

        Before 2 months itself I have applied for a new broadband connection.
        We enquired lot about this. But the persons are not responding properly or taking any actions. As i'm a engineering student i need internet connection desperately for my studies. Hope they would do this quick.

        I am experiencing great problem for the last 15 days, with no solution from BSNL. I now realise I have committed mistake in taking bsnl connection.

        I've requested for BSNL Broadband connection, and also i have paid 1000 rs to BSNL then after one month only they came and placed modem in my home. Afterwards,

        2. Also no one explained about IP address details and how to configure it in the system..
        3. We have called more than 50 times in 1500 also. But no one respond to my call.
        4. Not only 1500 number, i have called more numbers but no one respond to my problem.

        Bsnl Broadband Connection — Non-usuable Condition

        The work-order for the new connection of the broad-band data-one on the telephone number[protected]Regn no. BRS/BB/XX/08-09/0708) for CHAITALI CHAKRABORTY has been issued on 02/03/2009.
        Still the connection has not been complited though more than two weeks are over.
        The personnel even cant say that how long it may take.
        Before this two months they took to provide the new telephone connection of the aforementioned number.
        So from January, 2009 we are trying to get the dataone connection.
        Please let me know how long should we wait for that. Also if you cant give any time limit it would be better to take the charge after installation only.

        BSNL — Broad band bill issued to my number, but my broadband was never installed.

        I got a new connection for BSNL in Indrapuram[protected]. I received a bill of 38883+750, 750 was for broadband. Broadband never got installed. I have initially filled the broadband form but nothing happened.
        There after I went to Indirapuram exchange so they asked me to fill the form again, but then I shifted to TATA for broad band as BSNL service was pathetic. In March I got a healty bill with extra debits of 2550 and 975 as deposits. I could not understand the debit details.
        i am totally upset ans annoyed with downloading speed it, s giving me 20kbps/sec, my plan is 750 home ul+ kindly see to my request for speed ckeck amd revert as soon as possible.

        I have Bsnl broad band connection at my home, for the last about 1 month I am facing difficuly in connectivity for which I registered a complaint on 6/05/2009 with the BSNL officials at Tel. But from the attidute of BSNL officials I think they donot value there customer any more.         I have got teh broadband connection a month ago and from then onwards I started facing the speed from 100Mbps to 10Mbps which has been complained.This problem was attended after 15 days.

        During the next connection from the time of attending the above said problem I am unable to get the internet connected which comes with the ERROR 691. This has not been attended till today where we have already lost another 15 days. This shows the interest of the officials in attending the problem. Every time i connect the internet, i am constrained to raise the complaint in the customer care 12678, about this error 691 which has become the unique error.

        In fact I have got the other private net connection, which I have ignored their request presuming that the BSNL BROADBAND will have an excellent service. But I have experienced such a worst service from BSNL.

        Even I am not sure whether this problem will be attended in the coming days. If BSNL has any specific reason for not attending such issues, that can be brought to the knowledge of the consumers, so that we can get the other private connection...

        Will this issue will be attended atleast on seeing this complaint or BSNL can infor mus to go with the other options of taking the private internet connection.

        And BSNL associates told us to give the connection on the next day. But now almost 20 days passed. Meanwhile we have visited the exchange twice for the same.

        Once bsnl associate told that the concern line man is on leave. And next time they told to meet line man personally.

        Is it in the process of getting the phone line? Do we have to walk behind the line-man. And Mr. Line man is saying there is a complex issue you have to give some money.

        We are not able to understand for which thing this money is required and he is not even willing to give the receipt.

        After taking broad band connection, appx 2 months, i had been struggling for start up of internet. For help, i had visited BSNL office many times.
        Once my broad band got established, again the problem of phone dead or broad band not working started, which made the life miserable.
        Even after requesting many times to BSNL officials, nothing concrete or permanent solution given to me.
        Every time the full bill of broad band has been given, on asking that it was not operational, they said lodge a complain on paper but receiver of complain does not get available, when you are there.
        To lodge a complain, one has to leave all work and go to the office of BSNL, since it is not received or honoured through any other means.
        A person working some where can't spare such luxury time to give it to BSNL.
        As we have mobiles, hence we re able to survive but the relations, having land line number get
        embarrassed.
        Here i have request to you, to please look in to this matter and take immediate action to resolve this issue permanently.

        BSNL — NO BROADBAND CONNECTION SINCE 03 JAN 2010

        Telephone is completely dead. No broadband connection. Complaint booked on 4th Jan. Repeated requests to Zonal Engg/Telecom Offr are treated with blank and false assurance of rectifying fault in no time. Self pesently on business trip to Montreal, urgently need broadband with immediate effect in order to communicate over Internet with family at Bangaore.

        There is no proper response. 15 days once there is a problem of phone being completely dead. We have to beg around the line mans for getting it repaired. There is no drive with the staff to close the issues and every time they expect something for doing their duty.

        My name is Avijith and i work in IOC and stay in Panipat Refinery Township, i along with my friend had applied for BSNL broadband connection and landline in the local exchange. After a number of visits to the telephone exchange i finally got my landline fixed, but the broadband has not been given to me from the past 3 weeks, the problem being stated by them is that their ports are exhausted and new modem along with ports have to come from chandigarhs Head office which have been requested by them about 2 months back as per their statements. It seems that the BSNL's head office in chandigarh's slow response has aggravated the situation in our telephone exchange. My phone no. is [protected]. I was provided with a username password and a type II modem yesterday but i found out that it is of no use as the problem lies with the telephone exchange itself. A lot of officers living in township are unable to finish off their office work at home now due to the lack of internet connectivity. Kindly look into the matter at the earliest.
        I have very serious Problem in my bsnl broad band connection,from last 25 -30 days (from diwali Onwards) in my broad band connection every day after 6 pm data link of my broad band is loss and internet connection is not working till next day morning ..that 's continuously from last 30 days and i m a job person related to IT so i have to many work on internet every day night,but i have not able to access this facility provided by bsnl..and last 20-25 days i have done lots of complain in bsnl customer care but not proper reply from any one ..all are gives only sympathy like "i send the technician in 24 hour " that's not proper answer ..and if i argued them ,they tell me give your complain to senior supervisor and complain on the number which is given on the bill.so from last month i pay for connection which was not working ..that's all.

        There is no broadband service for 2 days from Saturday 2 pm. to Monday 2 pm. i.e. on 8th Jan to 10th Jan. Mine is unlimited scheme and I am paying Rs.750 per month.         If it is holiday, nobody is attending fault from BSNL Office. This attitude should be changed. During holiday also, some one should attend office to attend fault since the internet connection is essential service.

        We have been continuously charged heavy bills, despite having sought annual plan o[censored]nlimited broadband connection by paying Rs.8273 (including service tax) in the month of october 2010. On inquiry it was told that the details have not been updated in their system. After contacting no. of times personally as well as telephonically. the details are not yet updated by them in their system. On account of receipt unwanted bill for the month of march 2011, for Rs. 8200/ we are being compelled to go for another new plan which will commence from march-2011 to march 2012.

        My name is Roy Abraham and I work in Dubai. My wife Ligimol Roy, Kandathil House, Bharananganam PO has applied for the BSNL broad band connection at the BSNL Bharananganam Exchange, Kottayam, Kerala now more than 3 months and till now the connection is not given. Before 3 weeks thay have given the landline connection to facilitate the broadband and they had said that the internet will be activated in two days. After that she was following up with them on a daily basis and they are giving funny excuses like it is raining, no body to climb the post, the cable is not lenghty enough, the person to climb on the post is sick etc. I am surprised the way in which our Kerala Govt. offices work now a days also. Here we can get an internet connection in maximum 3 days, but Kerala my God............ un believable.

        We highly appreciate your immediate attention to get the connection at the earliest.

        My Broadband Connection disconnects after 6.30PM everyday and gets active by 5.30AM or 6.30AM in the morning. Throughout this time, the phone line works fine and there is no issue with that. Just the DSL light on the modem keeps blinking.

        Several complaints have been made to the BSNL customer care and to the AE of the area but doesnt help. This issue is going on from March 2011 till date. No one from BSNL responds to this even after mailing to higher officials of the BSNL no response.

        Is there any grevience cell where I can take this issue?

        BSNL — Internet is not working. And still getting bill.

        I am using BSNL broadband internet service since last two months.
        But out of that 2 months internet was not working for around 20 days.
        I have 5 complaint numbers with me.

        And some of the times they have not given complaint number also.
        When i did complaint regarding that no proper response i got.
        I called for raising Grievance to BSNL but every time they disconnected the call in b/w.
        They have given a 2000/- bill But i have not used service properly.

        BSNL guys are not listing the problem at all. Due to that most of the time i have to suffer with my office work at my home.
        Kindly do the needful.

Repeated complain no steps have been taken to solve it. Whenever I have complained customer care they said my complain has been taken priviously and the work is going on.         I have been using BSNL broad band connection since last few years. And I am facing lot of problems in the connectivity and the speed. In the last one year I have lodged many complaints. No doubt they have been attended to promptly but there seems to be no permanent solution for the recurring problems of seemingly same nature. Following are the details of the complaints so far lodged

        1 in a period of 7 months 7 days I have made 11 complaints and every time I have to go without access to the net for 2 to 3 days.
        2 Out of these 11 complaints about 2 to 3 times a lineman or an engineer came to my house and attended and rectified. And the remaining times I get a call from someone from the exchange , telling me that the complaint is rectified. My question is what is the problem with my connection and why doesn’t the BSNL find a permanent solution to this. From the above it is evident that the fault is rectified at the exchange most of the times. And it seems in my locality I am the only one having this kind of problem. Because when I enquired my neighbors, who are having BSNL connection, they don’t seem to have any problem. But I have to lodge a complaint almost every 20 days.
        So I request you to rectify the fault either at the exchange or the line connecting my house at the earliest.
        Further I would like to add that I prefer BSNL because I am also a government employee ( I work for Railways). Inspite of my son’s insistence to switch over to private service provider I am sticking to BSNL. And in the process it is creating lot of frustration to my son, who is a soft ware employee working from home for a client at USA. You could imagine my son’s plight with this kind of frequent break downs.
        In view of this I request you to attend to this problem forth with and find a permanent solution for my broad band connection failing which I may have to find an alternate service provider atleast for the sake of my son.

        i wanted a broadband connection from BSNL, i therefore went online and called on their customer care number and asked for same, the guy over the phone called and asked for connection and i said yes i want a connection and gave him my address, next day he or somebody from the company reached my house and asked for money the usual activation and installation fees along with 3 months advance fees for a Rs500 plan we agreed upon, in total i gave him Rs3200 which included Rs1500 for wifi modem too, in return he gave me a reciept and said BSNL guys will come the next day and install the landline and the next day the wifi will be installed, its been 2 weeks and still nobody showed up, i tried calling the phone number of his but its not connecting/reaching, neither their customer care number is responding, i am always on hold, either BSNL guys should install a connection to my house or give my money back

        I'd given an application to bsnl office in margao for a broadband connection nearing fifteen days now, when I go to enquire in margao exchange they say that the capacity in chandor is full and that they are told not to provide new broadband services in chandor, contacted exchange in chandor there's a new setup or infrasturcture that's already installed, but the switch has to come on from margao side that's what the chandor exchange people told me, he said it's going to take a month or two since that happens, I mean just to throw a switch on, shouldn't take such a long time, , , , , my number is[protected], please look into the matter and resolve it as soon as possible.
        Sir, i have applied for both landline and broadband connection. My new landline phone have been installed on 22 Jun 15 but my enternet has not yet started after 17 days. After paying all the installation charges the response from BSNL employees is very casual which is causing mental harrashment to me as no enternet service is yet provided.

          Today nearly 10 AM a person came to our house as a BSNL telephone operator. her name is "divya" She told us that BSNL is providing new schemes for government retired employees. My Father in law and Mother in law are retired government employees.

          Our BSNL Landline number is[protected]

          We have BSNL 750 plan with broadband connection. She told us as per new schemes of BSNL landline connection, we will get Rs 150 detection and 250 free calls for our 750 plan. she told, for receiving that new scheme, the phone should be changed and new activation is also needed.

          She also made us to fill up a form with my father in law photo(A.Arockiam, in his name only we have registered our landline) with my mother in law signature(I.Sebasti Lourdu Arockia mary) on the photo (as my father in law was not available at home at that time). By giving us a landline caller id phone, she told she ll activate the new scheme today itself. For that we should pay

          Rs 1600 - for phone
          Rs 950 - for activation charges

          We asked her receipt for our payement, which doesnot look like a BSNL receipt at all. In a plain paper she has written something and gave to us. There is no symbol for BSNL in that receipt.

          As we doubted on her we gave Rs 1600 for the phone alone.... we told we will pay the remaining amount on tuesday... and also we got her mobile no, which is a airtel no, and the mobile number is "[protected]" and she too got our mobile number

          once she went out of our home.... our doubt increased and we called her to her mobile number.... she didnt pick up her phone. then again we called her, at that time also she didnt pick the mobile. then we tried to her mobile number with another mobile number. but she switched off her mobile. until now we r trying to her mobile numer, but still its in switched off condition.

          Sir/Madam, I request you to trace out her address with her airtel mobile number which is ([protected]) and her name is "Divya". I also request you to take care such that she must not miss use our land line number which is[protected]...

            For last 2 months the landline has been dead and even after complainting for so many times the BSNL employes from behind Sai Mandir Branch under the divisonal engineer Mr. Nandanwar have been ignoring the complaint i have been paying the rent fro almost 2 months now without a single use of the phone and the amount in now upto 1800rs for 2 months without the single use of the internet scheme provided by them they are charging rs. 750 for the internet and 150rs as the landline rent i hereby request you or the concerned authority to check the issue and correct it today . i have certain papers signed with me which does tell the status of my complaint or else there needs to be a serious action taken by the consumer forum authorities though this has been giving me a big loss to my work i have been ignoring the fact but now it's been 2 months and its a big time.

            Since 1 year my number is in frequent dead condition, every month for atleast 15 days it is working rest time dead, due to your department staff who has changed my DP, initially it was from the nearest DP where I was the first customer, but now the new customer bribed the staff and their connections are existing from old DP, but my was changed and was connected to a far away DP from my home and in every week somebody is thefting the wire and each time I had to pay money for a new wire.

            Is this a normal service form BSNL, Jajpur or I want a justification why me being old customer and connected to a far away DP and the new customers from the old DP where i was the 1st customer.

            Today your staff Aruna again went to attend the complain, and did the same thing connected my wire to a far away DP point from my home, not from the nearest DP in which I was the customer since last 15 years.

            Please justify me if in the nearest DP point only 1 line working, that should be given to me, as I am the only customer who had brought the line since 15 years and got connection from the same nearest DP.

            Why one new customer will be connected with only 1span of wire, and me being an old customer has to get the line from 10 span distance.Please repair the nearest DP by connecting one small cable form the main cable.Today he (Aruna) connected my line again from the same 10 span far away DP.

            Please do needful, or suggest me to go to the court of law for justice.

              I live in lalitpur. Recently i buy BSNL 3G connection. I run Internet on Computer With the help of 3g e-stick. But when i plug the e-stick into the computer , the 3g signal not available and after that very few times i got the signal. But then also the net speed very slow (maximum speed 50kbps ), the signal strength not indicate on computer only the 3g mark shown. Even i use 2g then i got the speed upto 30kbps. So what the difference in your 3g and other 2g. the minimum speed in 3g upto 200kbps. Very weak 3g. I live in center of the city then also i not got the 3g signals. Very Very Very weakest.

                This is to bring to your kind notice that i had taken a 3g bsnl data card on 4th august and received a free sim along with it.. from the bsnl telephone exchange office situated in kanpur,saket nagar.. i had made all the payments then and there...
                I was being told that my frc would be done within some hours i just had to keep my cellphone on with the given sim. my phone was switched on for two days and i also visited d bsnl office on 5th august to tell that my frc has not been done yet... but there was no response from their side
                Now it has been around a week ad still my frc has not been done. i would request you to look into the matter and kindly proceed my request as soon as possible.

                          I am unable to view BB usage record. I have taken Home 500 Plan.By clicking www.data.bsnl.in or www.dataone.in Iam getting access to the site of Portal ID. But after providing the Portal ID and Password I am being asked to select month. When I am selecting the month, a "blank" page is appearing with no usage record.
                          Please not that a subscriber should be panalised for exceeding the usage limit on account of your system error. The matter may please be brought to the notice of all concern so as to avoid payment complications.

                          i can't see usage of month november. I see usage of moth octmber. because i paid the bill of month octomber.

                          I am from Hyd and my BSNL id is pawar448, every day in teh evening DSL link is going down.

                          I have logged a complaint on 16th Jan, and have been calling customer care everyday to get a resolution. To my surprise there are no updates on the ticket and the helpdesk agents can log a new ticket unless the old one is closed!!

                          Spoke with JTO (Mr. Janaki Ram; M# [protected]) multiple times. Every time I spoke with him, he gave me an assurance that the issue will be rectified soon. Now from teh last two days he has stopped picking my calls!!!

                          I'm in Home500+ plan; is this some tactic that BSNL is playing to deprive its users of teh Night Free time??

                                  I m bsnl prepaid customer,my number is [protected] ,I Had activated gprs service on my handset and india times forcefully subscribe wap model services and till now after a lot tries i could not find any way to unsubscribe it ,they are deducted RS.30 PER MONTH,i m getting frustated now,please unsubscribe me from india times wap services.thanx

                                    It is almost a year since we moved to Greater Noida,sector Zeta,and since the beginning have applied for BSNL landline,have been to the head-office,talked to the authorities concerned,they have visited the site and promised that we will get connection soon but till today we are without connection.We are elderly couple living alone,aged 86 and 73,feel that without phone line we are handicapped and in any emergency there will be great problem as the mobile phone also does not function well in this area.Shall be grateful if the authorities will understand the situation and help us soon.

                                    I had given a complaint that the internet is not working, but nothing has been done so far. Its been 4 months since i took the broadband connection, but the internet is pathetic. The broadband connectivity goes of within minutes of my logging in. though they come and check and they say they will come tom and no one comes back...

                                    my provided bsnl net connection no. is[protected] it is provides 12.09.2010 but till date 17.09.2010 is not statred . i do many time follow this matter but anybody can not responce me. i dailed many time following no. [protected],[protected],[protected] but anybody can not response to me.
                                    Sir,
                                    My land line number[protected] is not working since the route of connection was damaged while laying a CC road in the street.This happened more than a year ago. I have given many requests and complaints too at my nearest BSNL office but never the action has taken place in giving me the connection.I have been paying all my bills since i have taken connection.
                                    It is very much dissappointing that BSNL employees are not helping to solve the connection issues because of road construction. Only thing they need to do is bring the wire and connect from the existing location and connect to my phone.
                                    As customers we rely on the reputation of BSNL, and the employees of BSNL are defaming it.
                                    I request you to please help me in solving my connection issue.

ACTUALLY MONEY HAS BEEN TRANSFERRED FROM MY ACCOUNT, BUT NO AMOUNT HAS BEEN ADDED TO MY MOBILE ACCOUNT. i HAVE ALREADY MAD AN COMPLAINT WITH THE BSNL 1503 SERVICE (DOCKET NO.3746710) ON 03.04.10. TILL NOW THE PROBLEM IS SOLVED.

                                        dear sir,
                                        being a inhabitant of kailashahar gobindapur i am thankful to you that you have arranged 3g service in gobindapur area. the entire staff, sde phones, engineers, office staffs are very helpful in mitigating all the problems.
                                        but it sorry to say that due to their work limitation, the state authority are not putting careful attention to motivate the people of our locality, especially while india growing, when we see that bsnl is doing so many things. perhaps kailashahr is very far away from agartala. in so many cases local bsnl authority has nothing to do as because they are fully dependent upon agartala. 3G service nothing hopeful. recently it is being observed that the remote server is not working thus we are facing a lot problems. so requesting you to please put heed to the people of oldest subdivision of tripura, the kailashahar, particularly in the coming days. expecting yr best cooperation.
