[Resolved]  BSNL Broadband Service — Bad Customer Service / Technical Support

I'm using a BSNL broadband service for past one year. The customer service is pathetic. There is no support provided by them during weekend. They promise you an ETA of 24 hrs for any problem. Apparently, they close all tickets without resolution in 24 hrs :)

I have a connectivity problem since past one month and raised N number of compliants with the 24/7 customer support at 1500/1504. But there is no response for resolution. When I try calling the numbers again for the status check the operators disconnect the call (by seeing the issue log).

I'm paying the bill without utilizing the service and I recommend not to go to BSNL for any service based on the bad service experience.

I wonder why the Govt owned ISP have such a bad service.

BSNL Broadband — bad customer service

I am chaitanya - a broadband subscriber in bangalore i called BSNL on 7 dec 2008, b/w 11:00am-12:00am to complaint about the broadband connectivity, the call was picked by Mr.lokesh who was not ready to listen to the issue nor the troubleshooting performed by me as i am a technician by self i was well prepared by making sure the is no issue with my system or with s/w setting and was confident about the issue with modem, the BSNL tech kept on forcing me perform the steps repeteadly and in between he was placing me on mute and disappering when i was discussing about the bad service with my sister during the course at my end he just bumped into the conversation and got into argueement and when asked for his manager he refused to transfer and he also told troubleshoot yourself and contact exchange for further support. when asked for his manager repeatedly he transfered to his manager Mr.jaksom, who was simillar to his tech and the best part about this manager was he was listening even thow he dint resolve and with out even informing me he place me on mute and transfered me back to tech Mr. lokesh . The issue left unresolved however, BSNL HAS TO TRAIN ITS CUSTOMER CARE REPRESENTATIVE FOR THE PROPER LANGUAGES, SOFT SKILL AND THE MOST IMPORTANTLY TO LISTEN TO THE CUSTOMER AND THEY NEED A VERY GOOD TECHNICAL TRAINING ASWELL.

I have a Broadband Connection for Calcutta telephones, Salt Lake Branch. I am using it. I have got userid and password on 15/12/2008. Here I have told many times to customer care for a free SIM against the Broadband connection. Still i have not received the same. I will be very glad to arrange the free SIM against the Broadband connection. My Telephone Number is[protected].

this is useless to comment on BSNL, there employee knows good people never rewarded and bad people never punished, I am trying to get portal id and password, which these people never talked, when I got excess bill and I inquired then they are telling on net you can see the status. Now problem is when I call customer care 1500, says call on [protected], there people can help you to find the portal no as well usage of broadbabd, thing is no one is lifting the call. This is the scenario of Bangalore Broadband. I dont know how government dreams to compete china and How much is the BSNL ads are promishing.

After many times of call I am able to talk to customer care, and said to her no one is taking the call tell me the alternative, she simply bang the phone.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to you to being to the notice the patetic customer service of BSNL. Though the new government is talking about disinvestment in BSNL i guess it should sell all its stake to a provate company so that they are managed better.

I am having issues with my broadband connection for the telphone muber 23655272 which comes within the Kavalbyrsandra exchange.. I looged a complaint with the BSNL customer services and a line man came to the house and said that he only handles telephone issues though when logging the call i had chosen the BROADBAND issue .He said we should call the number [protected] to olodge a complaint. First it takes ages to get someone to lift the phone and even if they lift they say that i should talk to the JTO and she never seems to be there on her seat irrespective of who picks it up.

Please register this and publish this complain so that the people and the BSNL management is aware of their state and customer service.

BSNL — Call Center response is pathetic

Dear Sir,

This is regarding pathetic service by BSNL Cell One call center.
1. The call center (24365) does not have entire information available with them.
2. With the call center you can not register all type of complaints.
3. For Most of time Call center diverts you to Service Center hence entire purpose of having call center gets defeated
4. Call center employees normally resist logging any complaint against call center quality of service.
5. Call center employees do not have proper knowledge of systems hence they end up in taking lot of time & They resist to log complaints.
6. Call center employees do not transfer call to seniors & they do disconnect call. I have observed this 9 times out of 10 calls.

Please take necessary action.

BSNL Broadband — No service support

I had applied for a broadband connection. In a week's time, a landline phone was provided, since that day, its 2 months, no one came for broadband connection. I do not know my password, no body came to provide the modem. I have tried calling customer care 10 times, they are asking me to buy a spitter, ethernet cable etc. Atleast one person should call the customer, and should tell him the dertails of his broadband. Till today, I have not got the modem and the broadband has not started. Worst experience of my Life.

i am using bsnl broadband connection.when ever i contact the customer care number 1504.there is no response at all,they are disconnecting the calls..they are betraying the customers when it is needed....

I have been using BSNL Broadband and for the past 6-8 months I am facing problems with the connectivity. The connection is not stable. Every few mins the connection is getting cut.
I have raised the complaint several times in the customer support centre and there is no as such resolution for a stable connectivity. Because of this I am not able to use BSNL for my intended use.
I had written amils after mails to the nodal officers of the BSNL broad band service. Again for which there is absolutely no response.
The service complaints gets attended by immature persons who does n't even knows to how to check is the connection is getting disconnected or not. At the end of the day they even replaced my modem and still there is no resolution to the problem.
Not sure who else i will have to talk to resolve this issue.

as many people can do so it will help to remove useless people from bsnl how don't know how to run a business..just eating our tax money
I've broadband connection on my telephone 25731081 and 25731082 at address 310, 3RD Floor, Freeway trade center. Vatava turning narol ahmedabad.

Since last 2 month my 25731081 broadband rarely connects and when connected it is too slow some times as low. Due to which I rarely enjoy this facility and I My work depend on internet that’s why I use other agencies internet since last 2 month. I complained often at 1500 where only reply through Call comes that your complaint is regd. and after one or two days they call and say today we come but nobody come. Again that complaint has been attended but no one comes and rectifies it. Once I contacted the local BSNL technician who informed that cable is damaged due to which broadband is not working properly. So I change my cable.
Still I faced same problem. Also whenever I tried to talk through customer care executive /representative at 1500 or 1504 (After repressing declared digit) the phone automatically disconnects, it seems the software is also deliberately designed so that complainant should not be able to contact BSNL officers. Local complaint no. of exchange is also doing not reply. Hence I am in a fix what to do as I am regularly paying bills for the poorest service I received. Therefore I have again lodged complaint through no. - 1500 - with registration no.[protected]- on 15/03/2014.
And your Internet technician comes before 20 days and he says I come tomorrow and fix that problem. After last 19 days I try to call him but he will not pickup my call. His no is [protected].
It’s shameful that the government departments in our country is working like a lazy
I humbly request you to get the problem rectified otherwise I will have to shift to some other service provider.

I am also having a PATHETIC service from BSNL Broadband connection in Orissa, Bhubaneshwar, near CHadrashekharpur area. It is one of the popular areas in Bhubaneshwar.

The Complaint Service is also PATHETIC. The service Reps are also PATHETIC and CALLOUS.
BSNL is cheating us by giving away their bandwidth to some other competitors.

When it comes to taking money they do not have any correlation to the BAD connectivity issues I am facing for last 5 months.

There are unending list of complaints against BSNL is there no platform where action is taken against erring BSNL company and why not Govt bothered to improve the services of BSNL by making them accountable?
Mr Modi as PM is advocating digital transaction however if the services of online service provider (Govt owned) is pathetic is there no way PM helps citizen to follow Govt guidelines and also Govt must punish such erring officials of BSNL who have made it a junk platform
BSNL call centre has some of the weirdest executives taking your calls. When i called the executive and said 'Hello' .. the guy in the call center said . aap response nahi karna ki baje seh hum line ko disconnect kar raha hai and i saying hello hello and he cut the line. What a pathetic service. I suggest BSNL make a review of what going on in the call centres and fire all the useless employees.
