[Resolved] BSNL — evdo broadband | |
Sir/Madam, I got a BSNL EVDO broad band connection from Karaikal and activated roaming facility. But when i try to connect at chennai, immediately i am receiving a message that the remote server computer did not respond even though the signal strength is full. I am also not getting internet even in karaikal when change the setting mode in EVDO. i.e it works only in 1X or hybrid mode. please advise how to get the roaming facility at chennai & connection at EVDO mode. The person dealing the EVDO connections in karaikal is not able to solve my problem. my Evdo card no is [protected]. my contact no is [protected]. Was this information helpful? | |

What is the latest of your complaint with BSNL?
I also fall under the same issue with BSNL EVDO service. I took this connection in January 2008. Right after a week, it started showing issues. I used to get disconnected once in 3-5 minutes (but the connection indication shows active) - when we get no display of pages, I needed to reconnect. This goes on continuously... And speed goes beyond normal dial-up. I too have complained with many people in BSNL.. nobody is interested to look into the complaints.. as they are so stupid to think that they get their salary whatever they do to their customers.. forgetting the fact that it is us, the customers who help to pay their salary.. their daily bread...
So I do not think they are going to resolve this for you... sorry to say that you too fell a victim of EVDO, where BSNL has no technical know-how and each and every time.. people from China are required to attend the complaints..

purchased evdo on 30.06.09 that now speed of internet will increase but all fails very much disappointed want to return.

BSNL — EVDO - Broadband
I rented an EVDO Broadband connection on Sat 20 Sep 08 and was told that it would get activated latest by Monday 22 Sep 08. I had to make more than 20 calls for the connection to get activated and finally it got activated on Wed 24 Sep 08.The staff is unprofessional in the organization and they placed my call on hold, while attending to the personal calls on cellphone.
The EVDO speed is extremely slow compared to what they have advertised and when you request for an engineer visit, they staff asked me to come their office which is approximately 6 - 8kms from my place.
I would appreciate if this complaint is deal with on an urgent basis.
