[Resolved]  BSNL Faridabad — Excess Bill.

Hi,

We are using BSNL landline connection since 15-20 Years, which is in name of my father sh. K.A. Kuttappan, last year we also got internet connection from BSNL, and paid all the bill regularly, that usede to be less tha 2000 Rs, and the current bill received is of approx value 25000 Rs.

When enquired at BSNL, they said clerly that some data was not updated by BSNL for broad band, and they were not aware since long about it and after updating the data at their side and without prior intimation to consumers they sent the bill with such a high value.

My question here is "BSNL should be opologize for it"????????????

I strongly believe mistake is on BSNL Side and for that why i should be punished with such a bill.

secondly they should compensate for what they have done to me, i'm a workign person and the sudden increase in bill to 25000Rs has made me tensed till i reached their office and after hearing that it is mistake on their side my tension was how i will be paying the bill.

BSNL suggested to pay the bill in installments, but still i need to pay the current charges and the installment, if i consider installment for 1 year then EMI will be 2000Rs + my current bill.

I don't know how to react to it.

BSNL — Compensation in the bill

Dear Sir,
I am very much fed up of what was happened with me recently from BSNL.Since long time i was being enjoying services of BSNL and i am proud to have connection with such big empire.
Details about my connection are as follows :
Consumer No: [protected] Telephone No. : 25232055 Exchange : Warje


In our family everybody has own cell phone so actually there was no more necessity of landline phone but still we are going with this connection as we were using it from last 8 to 9 years. We made this phone as use for receiving incoming calls only by opted "SULAB - I PLAN."

When i was received bill for Bill No: [protected] i was shocked to know that my plan was "URBAN ONE INDIA"
and i was still wondering that how was it happened ? Because earlier for plan change i had submitted written application to Warje Exchange then only my plan was changed. Nobody was asked to change my plan then how it being changed without any intimation or my permission ?

I was asked to pay 390 Rs./- instead of i was earlier paying 240 Rs./-. So why i have to pay excess amount without any my fault or requirement ? I am not going to pay such amount.

I hope you will seriously look into this matter and i will get the compensation and my previous plan as well !

Dear Sir,

We are using Landline No.[protected] from last 10 years, the bill no. T[protected], According to me the bill amount is very excess from your side, as we are not using outgoing calls very much. You are requested to kindly send me the Bill details on my email and, and please mentioned that the amount 454 whether is it included with arrear or without arrear. And confirm the total outstanding on my account.

hi,

friend i had the same problem with my bill from bsnl side, they told me the same reason as they told you. I would suggest you not to pay the bill as that is not our mistake. We had not gone there to ask them not to upload their data and moreover they had charged us for that period of bill about which they are talking. So they can't ask us to pay more for that period which is already clear with accouts.

I request you not to pay the bill as that will encourage them to do the same with others also. Actually i am planing to file an information application using RTI. and would ask many questions as possible and would see whether a consumer case made out or not and afterwords would file a complaint in consumer forum.

I hope i am not replying you very late or if you had payed the bill then also that's no issue dont pay further. They may disconnect you broadband and landline for not paying the bill. But it is good to suffer once than for lifetime. Contact some another service provider. Everyone except BSNL provides better service.

Sir, Please refer to my letters dt. 01.10.09, 11.10.09, 24.11.09, 24.12.09 & 16.02.10 wherein I have stated that an amount of Rs. 1674/- has been wrongly charged on me for using broadband internet connection and outgoing calls which services I am not using. I have made repeated request to charge me Rs. 109. P.M. only for incoming calls from 01.10.09 and not for others and refund me the balance amount of Rs. 1456/- at the earliest.

I regret to state that my request has not been made effective till date. An early action may please be taken and refund me the balance amount of Rs. 1456/-.

i am using your bsnl broadband, but this connection is started on behalf of I-Card of health deptt. of Haryana govt. But when i got the bill, that was a general category bill. There was no 20% rebate in bill after 4 months : before that I did not get any bills in this regarding. when went to o/o bsnl ballabgarh, they asked me to submit govt. office certificate. Then I submitted the certicate. Kindly give my rebate of 20% as per rule. I did not use your broadband most of the time, kindly adujust my bills with 20%rebate.
