[Resolved] BSNL, whitefield, bangalore — telephone connection transfer | |||
Hello Sir, My phone no: 28453005, I have applied for transfer from Satyasai layout, whitefield to Kadugodi on 04/12/2010. I went to their office multiple times, they sometimes say the commercial office is shifted to Indira Nagar and you need to visit the commercial office and sometimes they give you another number to talk to. They haven't stopped their billing so I end up paying the RENT (BSNL Broadband - Rs 750/M). After visiting their office multiple times, I finally got the number of the JTO (area responsible). He's been telling for last 10 days that connection will be done tomorrow. I've never experienced such a pathetic service in my life. You call customer care, they say you call JTO, JTO says you call lineman and the lineman is never reachable. I don't understand, why a customer should run behind all these non-sense people who doesn't have etiquette to talk. Please let me know, if something can be done. This is Probably the Worst Customer Care Centre There is. Half of the Staff will be Sleeping when you enter the Building. You litterally have to wake them up when you go there. Nobody is willing to answer the calls. I loose my Temper every Time I enter this office.
First I asked for a Broadband Plan Change, They Cancelled my Current Plan too. I ended up paying 5000 Extra on the Bill that Month.
Later They Changed the plan but There is no Response to any Complaints Raised.
I am Trying to Shift my Phone now It's been 10 Days Since I applied for the Transfer. I have been to this Office Three Times Already. Driving for Almost 40 KM every time. No Response?????
If this is What you call Customer service.. Shame on you...

And customer complaints number... wow... thats another department... you call them, they put you on hold and just keep the reciever down... you call them again... they do the same thing... any number you call them, if someone accidentally has the courtesy to attend to it, then they always have another department or phone number to direct you to... Even if you tell them that you are going to discontinue their services, they would gladly let you... it just doesnt affect them... Infact, I've just booked an airtel broadband while awaiting my bsnl phone to be fixed.
Except for one gentleman who has attended my call from the Duplicate Bills department(well... the complaints department once directed me to this department), there is absolutely no other staff in this office who seems professional. The way they behave, one would doubt if they are educated. Cant believe that we pay our taxes to support such organizations. Even the women at the billing department display the attitude that they run our lives when we go to pay the monthly bill. What a shame! Its high time that these jobs went to younger smarter people who are educated enough to deal with the masses... theres no dearth of education in our country... so please recruit people with merit... true that the government wants to support the underprivileged... providing them jobs...blah blah blah... but please dont recruit such laid back unprofessional people for customer service if you cant train them. Atleast show some concern for the common man who knocks at your door for service...
