[Resolved] Canara Bank — delay in clearing cheque

i regreat to inform you that each time i deposit my cheque for clearing in my saving account, it is delayed by atleast 4-5 working days . i have my account in your shankar nagar branch delhi, but i deposited my cheque in mayur vihar branch. this is not the first time that i am facing this problem and there is no one in your branch who can give us a proper reasoning for the above and today one of your senior manager in mayur vihar phase-1 misbehaved with us and said that do what ever you want to do in this respect, i cannot do anything . so kindly do the needful and we will wait for the results. if nothing is been done, then i would be forced to take this issue to the consumer court. I am also facing the same problem . My account is in ghaziabad branch and i deposit my cheques in kamla nagar branch, delhi.
they take more than 5 working days to clear the local atpar cheque .
and moreover Kamla nagar branch canara bank has made the clearing time at 10:00 AM .. nw how can one deposit the cheque at 10:00 am when bank opens at 10:00 am only . .
kindly do the needful as it is harming the business of your account holders.

I had submited my cheque of 6000.00 on last saturday 1st October.
But at this time when I cheque to bank representative. He/She is telling me that cheque is not reflected in their system.
I don't know where is the problem. So please be kind on me and take an action on this.

saving account — delay in cheque clearing

inspite of RBI guideline to clear local cheques in 3 days, its normal to all SBI branches to take more then 3 days, whereas other banks take 2 or 3 days. SBI branches dont give cheque acknoledgement also.

Yes even i have faced the same problem regarding local cheque clearing, I deposited the cheque 3 days back and still not yet cleared as it is 4th day today. Cheque amount is already debited from the payee account on the second day but still not credited to my account. Really horrible! don't know why they keep it idle for 2 days when it is already debited from payee account.

I regret to inform you that i deposited my Icici bank cheque Pune Branch into canara bank junnar so they told to me this cheque passed in 11 working days. after 11 days cheque do not cleared yet. In compare of Muslim bank and Janta bank that type of cheque passed in 3 or 4 working days.How it possible those Muslim bank and Janta Bank is a scheduled bank and canara bank is a nationalize bank.
