I opened an NRE/S.B account in Feb.2008, at Shahakanagar Branch, Bangalore 560092 and I have been requesting a statement repeatedly without any result till this date. I have notified my change of address which is given under. I would very much like to use your specialised services as the dividents from my investment are being directed to my NRE account. since I notice that you have these services I would vedry much like to avail this opportunity. I need to get my account statement before proceeding any further and would appreciate your response. On hearing from you I will provide the details of my account and the account number etc., by mail instead of the e-mail. Dear Sir,
I have to request u to follow any alternative way to realise any caller, (enquiring Account balance) who is the real holder of that given Account Number.

Becuse, it is very easy with your branch to misuse Such a - - an essential service which u providing to let us know the NRE account balance just by a telephone call.

How can misuse: eg. If I got a cheque leaf of my friend, relatives...anybody having NRE account with your branch and i think I have to know what will be his bank balance. Very easy. Just dial to your telephone and ask I have to know my NRE account balance and giving his account number?. (I already know his name and more details) . A genuine quiestion coming from your staff end -asking me- Is it this... guy who calling? (sayig to me that guy's name). I am replying, yes my name is that ... giving the other guy's name. Then finish staff giving me the account balance.

I have a kind advise that I[censored] could provide a Customer ID for each account holder may can reduse this type of misuses.

I am an NRE account holder with Canara Bank, Badagara Branch (NRE A/C 26907/B12). But some reasons I will not operate this account for long years. I am still living in Kingdom of Bahrain and I want to know this account is still active or not. If it is active, I want to know there is any changes of account number or other.
