[Resolved]  Carnation — Poor service

I had a bad experience with CARNATION MULTIBRAND SERVICE, Bangalore. Please read the letter i have wrote to j.[protected]@carnation.in.
However, i have not recieved any response for this letter.

I have availed your car service from Bangalore outlet last week. The overall experience was below average. First look of your service center was appealing with lots of boards saying "CUSTOMER IS KING" and "NOBODY NEEDS TO PUSH US". Soon i realised that the company policies are lying on the sign boards only. I got a cold welcome by the receptionist and then met one service adviser who appeared not interested in my queries and explanations regarding my vehicle condition.While testing the vehicle, i explained a rattling noise coming from rear wheel arch of my car. He said a plain ok for everything and asked me to collect the vehicle next day noon.

I received a call from adviser next day noon to collect the vehicle. As i was busy with my meetings, i reached service center by 5:30 PM. Surprisngly i saw my vehicle parked infront of the reception without wheel cups and a dirty dash board. I met my service adviser and he is ready with the bill. I demanded a test drive before the payment. It took another 30 minutes to fit the wheel cups and mope the board. Finally went for a test drive where my next surprise was waiting. The annoying rattling sound still there and when asked adviser was speechless. He never bothered to answer my questions, instead he said will go back to the service center. After some serious (i think so !) discussions, another senior service adviser approached me and asked me " What kind of sound you are hearing Sir?". I said i cannot mimic any rattling sound, instead you can test it and check. Another engineer boarded the car and asked me to go out for another test drive. After third test drive (it was closing to 7:30 PM), i suggested to check the rear break light fixture for a loose reverse horn. That revealed the issue and he removed it. My service adviser was not there in the whole scene, finally i approached him to settle the bill. He was not even bothered to say sorry for the trouble.



Some other issues i faced are:



1. Wash quality is below average.

2. Service adviser was unaware that my tyres are filled with nitrogen. (Green nozzle caps refers to Nitrogen filled tyres)
3. No wind glass liquid filled up.



Excuse me for a very long narration, it came from my frustration.
After all i feel my Authorised Service people are far better than this and i will defenitely consider them next time.

Was this at Bannerghatta? I'm just back from a service with a terrible terrible experience and my entire Saturday is ruined!. Have you received any response from them yet? I have also mailed at that address.
