I applied for Broadband connection on 24th may08.
I asked to remove my STD/ISD facility and adjust the deposit amount to my broadband modem.
They have promptly removed std/isd facility but no broadband till now.

    My Telephone No. 26687433

    I got installed BSNL broad band for my home and it was installed around 20/04/08. Eversince, installed, it is not working and the person installed informed me that the cabling is not correct for which i need to contact my builder of the apartment.

    However, my builder has proved that the cabling is perfect and shown me the connectivity test for the cable.

    I have been calling and complaining about the issue to JTO Ms. Dakshyayini on[protected] and Mr. Nagaraj who installed the broad band in my home on 20128591 and[protected]

    I am paying the broad band charges for the last 2 months without using the facility.

    Can someone respond to me in this regards

      2 days back i got a message from bsnl that on 9th of june ur service is going to be expired plz recharge quickly.

      now on 11th of june i recharged my phone but i m unable to make outgoing calls and i m only getting incomming calls.
      plz tell me why this is happening and how can i sort this problem out.
      plz sort this as soon as u can

          dar sir, my newly installed basic telephone [protected] in Nov. 2007 with broadband had been working with heavy noise since beginning about which complaint in writing with sdo bahadurpur, over phone 198 with no result. since 21st May08 it was complelely dead. on 5th june it was connected again on 10th june it became dead. the outsourced person installing the above phone was demanding 200 rupees for good servce from exchange. more interesting person at exchange are asking over phone how the said phone is working from time to time lately on 10th june 08 at 8 a.m since then again the phone became dead . please advise what to do for this tipe of mischief played by bsnl staff.
          Every three days or four my phone does not work. They would repair and again the problem would repeat. My instrument also does not work properly. When i call my bank or railways, if i am asked to dial next number that is not possible. TODAY I HAD PECULIAR PROBLEM - MY INSTRUMENT IS GOING ON RINGING NON STOP. i AM WORRIED IF SOMBODY IS ON NET OR USING MY PHONE. PLEASE ATTEND IMMEDIATELY. WHEN I CONNECT MY BROADBAND IT GETS CONNECTED . BUT MY INSTRUMENT IS GOING ON RINGING.

          PLEASE ATTEND I AM WORRIED. I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PAY BILLS FOR OTHERS IF ANYTHING LIKE THAT IS HAPPENING.

            I HAVE A PHONE OF BSNL NO[protected] INSTALLED AT MY RESIDENCE. THIS PHONE REMAINS DEAD AFTER A GAP OF 10 TO 15 DAYS. TELEPHONE CABLE IS LYING ON THE ROAD. So i don't know when the caller tune is deactivate and how it is activate. please give me suggestion how I am change my caller tune when I want to Change.               i have BSNL prepaid connection no. is [protected], some days ago i have receive a message from bsnl for caller tone, there is code for Bsnl punjabi tone, i have done the message for caller tone & reply back from bsnl, in this message written "your tone is Dwnload Process, & my 32 Rupees deduct from my balance. I have many Time complaint in Bsnl Customer Care, but they does not any action in this case.
              I have been forced to deduct Rs.32 for caller tunes ..which i have not opted. The tendency of implementing a forced caller tune is highly objectionable.If your service of caller tunes is not warranted by the customer, it is very sad you have implemented this scheme without customer concerned. My mobile no. is [protected] & on 28.10.08 evening a caller tune implemented message was received by me therefore Kindly deactivate the caller tune immediately and adjust the amount to my credit please...

              I am an exisisting coustmer of bsnl excel from tezpur assam, I am not satisfied with the bsnl caller tune service I have suscribed a caller tune on 21-02-09 by copying it from another bsnl number but I have not got the caller tune yet. I have registered a complain in bsnl call centere where I got my complaint registered and the complain number3429041 on 24-02-09. though my money was deducted the day I suscribed for it.Not only this, this is my second time facing the same problem for the caller tune once before also I had the same problem. Today 4-03-09 after 15 or 16 days bsnl have given me a caller tune which I dident suscribed, regarding this matter I have launched a complain to the local bsnl office, and the authority of the office has sent a fax regarding this matter to the regional office but there is no response. I have suscribed for the song (KISTARAF HAI ASSMA KISTARAF HIA ZAMEE KHABAR NEHI) from the recent new film Dostana and I have coppied it from the number [protected] but see the departmental neglicence that they have given me an old song, they think that we have to give a song to the customer so give any one.And they are saying that there is server problem if ther is server problem then how could they give me another song and whenever I use to suscribe there is alyz server problem. Now the question is that my money is gone secondly lost of time for going to the office for this reason, only for this matter I went to the office for 4 or 5 times, they are not going to give me the money back. I had paid money for somthing and in return of that I am not satisfied for what I paid, so ultimately today only I unscribed the rubbish song that they gave me, not the one that I secelected. Now I want the caller tune that I selected I wont leave the department I shall even report it to the News channel. Am I rubbish or stupied thazt what they will do just I will sit and see.

                respected sir,
                i have postpaid connection from last 6 months.and it is plan 100 of free call on a single no.but it has been charged on the same no.from last two months my postpaid bill is coming very excess.i have complained for it filed it, but nothing had been done from them.according to me, my bill will not exceed more than 300rs.but it has come 1614rs last month, in this month it has come 1141rs.i m a poor man and how i will i bear this.

                i have postpaid connection of bsnl 100 plan which is free on a single no.but from last two months they have charged on that particular no.
                according to me the bill has to come 200rs only in last month but it has come 1614rs.i have complained for this but nothing had been done.
                they have told me to deposit this amount and it will be adjusted in next month.but this month it is again exceeded to 1141rs.and this time,
                according to me this cant be exceed from 200rs.i m a poor man and i cant afford this.please help me out.my mobile no.is [protected].
                My bill no is[protected] dated on 05-01-09 for Rs436. It is too large amount of bill, Though my calling time is not so large. pl dont send any unneccessary message or ring tone down load facility, I dont want anything. Pl revert my bill, otherwise I terminate my BSNL post paid connection.Pl report immidietly.

                at december 2007. i have a deposit of around 1000rs/- they said me that they would be sending me a DD. But over 1 year i didnt recieve any DD or Chque.                   Excell General STD Charges — Complaint against STD Charges of Excel (normal) of Calcutta Telephones

                  Dear Sir / Madam,
                  I am a general subscriber of Excell Prepaid connection. Today during surfing the Terrif of Excell prepaid, I found that the all call rates are changed alongwith STD rates. Link is given below.

                  As per this website details all Local and STD rates are Rs.0.90/min. But practically there is no change in STD rates which I found after making a STD call.

                  Then I enquired about this with Customer Card Dept. of Cellone / Excell and they replied that they have no such information. And when I told them about website details, they just denied to give any reply.

                  Here I am confused whether the STD call rate is changed or not. If not changed then why Website showing this type of information ?
                  And if rate is changed then why it is not implemented !!!

                  Please help me with your proper guidelines.

                  Prepaid connection — Discontinue of Power card

                  This is inform to you that I am Atanu De, subscriber your Prepaid Mobile connection (No. [protected]), I was recharge of Rs. 42 Power Card on 29.06.08 & it was continued. But on 30.06.08 it suddenly discontinued to till date. I complained more than 20-25 times by your customer care, but they did not do anything to till date.

                  I have downloaded a prbt on dated 17/07/08 by sms on 56700. first i sms SUBSCRIBE to 56700, then after 4 hrs i buy a song by sms BUY 900010 to 56700. But the problem is that only bsnl tune is playing but not the song, and all the required balance deducted from my mobile.
                  pls solve the problem as immediately as possible because we pay for the service.

                  Cellone - SUMO scheme — Call charges for Call Center dialing.

                  I have got my SUMO scheme activated today(21/11/2008). I dailled the Call Center No 24365. I had to wait a long period to get the Call Agent. Apart from this for my call Rs 21/- has been charged. I want to know whether dailing to your Call Center is chargable. If not please recredit immediately. If not recredited please reply to my e-mail ID giving the reasons so that I can take up the matter at approriate authoarity. If I do not receive your reply within seven days the matter will be taken with Consumer Forum.

                  i am user of bsnl of basic service and mobile service frm near about ten years my mobile no is [protected] since it is my old no so my call rates was 49 paise/min to all local networks but from ten days my my call rate had been done 70 paise /min to all local networks accept bsnl the call rate to bsnl is 49 paise/min but to all other local networks call rate is 70paise/min this had been done without informing to me i had not done any recharge but when i went to bsnl office they had told me that ur no had been transferred frm 2g to 3g plz provide me migration voucher no i am from district patiala

                    I have taken bsnl broadband connection a fortnight ago.I registered my name for bsnl customer care portal with user id and password using the selfcare portal on the website.I did not get any reply by phone so far from the department as specified in the portal.I tried to access the customer care portal with the user id and password i registered.I could open the customer care portal and surf through it.I viewed the entire details in the "HOME" tab furnishing my phone number, my name etc.I clicked the 'SERVICE" tab in the same portal and got the window opened.I clicked on the "BRAODBAND USAGE DETAILS" and could see the details. I clicked on the "change the broadband password" command and I got the application opened to change my broadband password.I am unable to change the password though i tried umpteen times and everytime I get an error message "UNABLE FOR THE SERVER TO ACCEPT". I contacted phone number 1504 and complained my problem about half a dozen times but no body is able to give me a proper reply in this regard.I am vexed and fed up with this BSNL PEOPLE for their indifferent attitude and replies they give taking their own time at their whims and fancies and not caring for what I really need and they pass on the buck on the others giving some other telephone numbers to be contacted like some technical assistants and so on and these numbers never reply and are found always engaged all the 24hrs(GOD ONLY KNOWS WHAT THEY DO) .I am now forced to take serious action on this aspect and am also thinking of changing to some other internet broadband service providers.This BSNL is a corporation and I do not know how they behave so indifferently and irresponsibly.I would like to take this attitude of theirs to the GENERAL MANAGER BSNL AND THE MINISTER FOR COMMUNICATIONS.

                      I applied for a new telephone connection to use broadbabd service of BSNL on 28.04.2008 and simultaneously advice note is also issued on 29.04.2008. I contacted various times for installing phone Sri.B.B.Ram switch room, BSNL, chaibasa and he also taken phone set and necessary wires etc. but he and the line man of my area sri.thakur is just passing the time till today such that we are trying to do connection. when i said in complaint mood, they openly challanged for doing complaint to higher authority. It just seems that they are boss of the organisation, nobody is here to look into matters.after harrasing from all sides, I am sumbitting complaint to you for installing my phone connection as soon as possible.

                            I am sukumar and I have asked the Department to adjust my deposit amount and I am ready to pay the balance of my telephone no 26573268 more than a months ago and they have accepted.But till date they have not send any correspondence for adjustment of my old telephone no 26573268.Now I got a new connection and paying the balance regularly.They are now warning that they will cut the new telephone line for the fault of them.Please see the matter and attend the same.I was deeply worried about this.

                            I have registered a complaint with Maduravoyal Telephone Exchange for my landline no.[protected]Broadband connection) on 07.07.2008 for not getting a dial tone and the complaint no. registered was 84754634.

                            My number in Maduravoyal exchange is[protected], which went dead on June 2008. It briefly came to life in July but after 4 days went dead again. Till date it has not come to life. Any number of complaints to the exchange has not met with any success.

                            I just want to know when will it come alive again if at all it will.

                            It also has a broadband connection.

                            For the last 2-1/2 months I am suffering though bills are coming promptly.

                            Sir,

                            My residential (Land Line Phone)Telephone No.22384550 is not working for the last 3 or 4 days and the same has been registered with the Computerised Fault Booking system. They allocated a complaint no. and the telephone did not work for 3 days. My servant has gone and complained to the Assistant Engineer at Chrompet and he was assured that the complaint will be set right as there was a cable fault. Accordingly we waited for 3 days and on the 3rd day when I rant up to my house twice, in both instances the call sent to a different persons who shouted at me. Again when I lodged a complaint with the fault booking system I had a different complaint no. which means that the old complaint has been set right. This is highly irregular and causes inconvenience to consumers. May I request the concerned to look into this complaint and try to alleviate the difficulties faced by consumers like me.

                            Applied for BSNL Broadband whose order number is 92371146. I have given filled in form with other documents along with Rs 500/-. Installation team came and delivered telephone. I got the phone number 23770871 after lots of follow up calls. Now Its been 3 weeks now and they have neither provided the Line Though (I do not hear the dial Tone) nor the modem.

                            Usually for service/installation there are two person comes from Chennai, Virugambakkam BSNL Exchange. They do service just for sake of bribary. If we do not give money, they cut the existing line itself which was the comments from neighbor who has been facing such issues. There has been lot of complaints against them on their behavior as well for past 3 or 4 months.

                            Please do the need full and take necessary action.

When my line goes fault and i book online fault booking, after getting all the details about my phone connection i am getting the recorded message as "Fault booking cannot be accepted for this number". I don't know what is the reason for this and each time when my line goes out of order i had to personally go to the exchange and register my compliant or request the area line man.                               I have applied for shifting my landline[protected] from jalahalli exchange to vidyaranyapura exchange on 20/10/2007.Phaone has shifted to my new address on 09/03/2008 after a lot of followups.Now i got a pending bill of sum 1900 rs for four months of rent during shifting.I complaint at jalahalli exchange.since i have not paid this wrong bill as exchange person said it will be wayoffed my phone[protected] is not working.The executives at customer service center is anable to solve this problem and asking me to go to banaswadi area manager office for clarification.BSNL is having a lot of executives at customer service center for help the customer but they are unable to tackle the issue.Please take neccessaray action to continue my phone service after solving this issue.

                                I am a customer of bsnl broad band at Nautanwa Distt Maharajganj (UP East). My telephone no is[protected].
                                I submitted my application for 560 Rs. plan and my connection connected on 27 of March 08 but I got my bill as per 250/- Rs home plan with billing period from Feb 08.
                                After this I send a application to change my plan (Rs. 750/- Unlimited plan) to Commercial oficer TDM office Gorakhpur on 27 May 08.
                                Now I want to know my connection status.
                                Also I want to know that how can I change my data one broadband password.

                                    BSNL PHONE — POOR SERVICE

                                    My BSNL landline ( Phone No :[protected] is frequently going out of order .This I am facing since last 5-6 months.
                                    Most of the times the phone will be dead , there wont be any dial tone and sometimes I can hear only some radio broadcast over phone. I have called 25342198, 25251010 many times but there is no permanent solution. The connection may come back but the very next day it will go off.
                                    Even I submitted complaint letters couple of times at the Indiranagar office personally.
                                    But all my requests are falling on dump ears. I am also using a broadband Home plan 500 which is as well getting affected.

                                    If we got late by just one day for the payment BSNL will disconnect the phone and will charge Rs 100 to get the connection back. If shown atleast 10% of that efficiency to solve this issue I could have a better connection.

                                    It is a crime to charge any money on fake basis and it comes under the Consumer Protection Act and you, the BSNL will be charged at complaint as I Am Dr. SPS Rana MA, M Phil. Ph D, LLB and this feke charge of tunes by BSNL is a very poor show, I strongly criticise this type of practice. I am literate but think of those Indians having BSNL prepaid mobiles and dont even know to read your parasite massaging that you have deducted a certain amount out of their innocent account. Why and why is this so? BSNL is an accused entity before the court of law and is liable under 420 of IPC and the Consumer Protection Act. The only thing is that BSNL must return the fraudulently deducted money from all the prepaid mobiles of India within 24 hours. Shame on BSNL and I will throw the sim in a gutter.
                                    in my mobile i have sent an change request for caller tune but the customer care people or not reponing properly and deducting only money for the msgs but they r not changing the tune and even the bsnl customer care people and till now they have deducted 40 rs and my no is [protected] and also i am not getting proper signals even though i am in bangalore from past 9months so i am very much dissatisfied with the facility

                                    for the last month my sim got blocked(sim no[protected] mo no -[protected], i called on the customer service center no to get my sims PUK no, at first one guy on the call gave me a wrong PUK no when i called them back & told them about that, instead of admitting their mistake the guy on the phone urgued me in a very arrogant manner saying "we never give wrong informatoin ". but when i asked for the PUK no he was unabel to do it saying"server is unable to generat it, call us back some other day" . But to my dismay whole month has passed but still they are unabel to get my PUK no.
                                    Really im fed up of bsnl specially their customer care cell .

                                    bsnl mobile network — service

                                    i taken a bsnl ananth excell connection. it should recharge every 6 months with 600 for extend the validity. i recharged my account with 225/-rs and 200/-rs amount has been added in my account but the expairy date did not update. i made a call to customer care and i gave a complaint to customer care and i received a complaint number ''H1400037'' by them. but i did not get any response from them. still now they are not responding . i gave a complaint many times but they are not responding. iam giving the complaint since 10 aug 2008. still iam giving.
                                    Please ensure Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), Calcutta sends revised internet bill for March-October, 2008 @ Rs.1112 per month for internet second line for 256 kbps unlimited internet supply & India Telephone Card lock is imposed on this second line. BSNL has removed the India Telephone Card (ITC) lock without permission of subscriber & huge bill is coming. Delete all call charges imposed on 2nd internet line without permission of the subscriber.

                                    BSNL should be asked to take back the 1st mother phone line, reduce total internet rent; the 1st mother line is hardly used by many, whose rent is Rs.280 for every 2 months, i.e. Rs.140, which is a waste.

                                    Please ensure a notice is printed in Calcutta based newspapers, like Economic Times & Ananda Bazar Patrika, & subscribers are asked to pay Rs.1112 per month only during March-October, 2008.

                                    Phone coming from Calcutta Telephones office, Medical College, Green building, Ground floor, 88, College Street, Calcutta stating that 100% deduction of call charge & cancellation of bill above Rs.1112 per month have been approved.

                                    Ensure BSNL unlimited subscribers are permitted to see from BSNL website the total monthly download & call charge. Surprisingly seeing download by unlimited is not being permitted from October, 2008 or so.

                                    Outside India the selling rate is about US$10 per month for 1.5 Mbps unlimited connection, BSNL should reduce rent of Rs.1112 per month to Rs.420 per month, present rate too high, BSNL can be asked to take back the 1st phone.

[protected], for the last 4/5years I’ve been speaking to your customer service, requesting them to change mobile plan from Annant Excel to Saral Annant service & regarding this number of time I've sent message in 53733 but sorry to inform you that the same is still not being done. My call charges are very high compare to other users - pl. look into it & confirm by message.



                                    However, this is not being done as a result I’m unable to use this connection.

                                    My name is Swapneel Kelkar. My BSNL Mobile No. is [protected]. I have been facing a strange problem with my number. Evenif my cell phone is switched off or out of network and some one tries to contact me, he get to hear my complete caller tone and after that a message comes that the person is not reachable. The person on the other line gets an impression that I did not want to attend his call but the reality is my mobile is switched off or out of network and hence I am not able to know some one was claaing me. Also the network quality of BSNL is very very poor. Call drpos are very high. I hope this complaint reaches the right person and the issue is sorted out. Tis problem is very serious and may cost a lot in my professional life.

                                    This problems are going to stay. This is due to the Political parties and Worker's Union backing the BSNL employees. If you take action against the BSNL, nothing happens. Thrash an employee or a department by any means (by force or by law), you will be nabbed and cornered. The whole Goverment working policy is a and law is a play thing on their hand.
                                    These employees are more or less like thieves, the blame is on the organization, which is not itself bad. Every telcomm operators work on the backbone of BSNL, and also the technology incorporated by BSNL is farmore the best in India (maybe World). They have all the provisions and implementations to lay down the most sophisticated facilities there is and I have been there and seen is, although I am a subscriber. I have studied the most of it, their implementation, secrity, network ...blah, blah blah!!!

                                    But the problem here is their Employees. If the Goverment does not change their policies, imposing strict working guidelines on theie employees and reduce interfernces from the Worker parties, the exchange could turn out to be the best in the world. I have seen peoples, I would rather call suckers who work for BSNL and doesn't even know how the system work or what they need, and they work at BSNL. They would look blindly at your face i[censored] ask a little tricky question or would say something like, "This is internal information and cannot be disclosed"... Ask them about the VPI/VCI number and VC mode for BSNL DataOne broadband, u would c!!!

                                    Till this suckers get nailed, or somehow the firm gets liquidated or some random disaster strikes the houses of these backstabbing employees... we will suffer... all of Indian laws like IPC 420 or otherwise would kiss their mother ... so be a lawyer or nyone...u would be helpless...

                                    There are also some employees who would like to work, I knew some who helped me with the phone lines... but they are threatened by the sucker types and would fear their life, so that he does not work or overwork...

                                    So, unless u are someone from the R&AW or CID or IPS, IAS, ICS or some powerful person of this country, u or better say WE are no less than their ...

I was told to collect my WLL set from BSNL Xchg at Avadi, There was no User id, Password or Proper instruction or even a Customer Care Number.. Now after all this i ma not able to connect..                                     I Have five connections of BSNL mobile, but from last few months I am facing the problem of network on all five connections & I also visited BSNL Exchange Sector-34, Chandigarh almost 6 to 7 times every time they told me that within one or two days we will solve your problem. Your service has been renewed for next 30 days. Rs 20 charged." I have not used the astrology service on payment basis so far. I have not understood from where they got this information. I am not interested in paying Rs 20 per month for a service in which I have no faith.I contacted their customercare service through my mobile today itself and explained to them that I am not interested in this service. They told me that I should send an SMS UNSUB ALL to 55888020 which I did . To my utter disbelief, the SMS is not passing through at all in spite of my repeated efforts.

                                    I do not know what I should now and whom to complain. Will the concerned authorities read this comment and treat this as a complaint in the true spirit of customercare and take necessary action . I also request that I should be informed thorough e mail regarding the action taken.

                                    BSNL Mobile — worst service of cust, care

                                    i complaint last year 5 jan.09. complain no. was 3410323. i talked to cust. care supervisor many time. they told i will inform u. but after one year they cant reply about my complain. again in other matter i complaint on jan 09. comp no. was 3435499. but after one year not a single complaint was solved.
                                    again. i have complain, i talked cus.care. but i m very sorry to say that cust care service is very very poor, wastage of public money.
                                    comp is. on 4th jan 10 i talked to cust care supervisor and closed my caller tune. 5th jan i got message your song has been renewed. again i talked cust care sup. they told that your prob will solved. but 0n 7th jan 10 i got your caller tune extended for 10 das charged rs 10. but cant added my prv.money.
                                    now i m going to file a case against bsnl, and sply against cust care. i have all the proof of bsnl employee ignorance. and my harcement.

Network Bar on the handset screen continuously fluctuate, many times disappears. Neither the caller nor me can hear the voice properly. Frequent call drop occurs.

                                    this is not the matter of today.whenever i go to the exchange, i do not find JDO samba in his office.

                                    Telephone was not working for over 1 year but were charged every month.
                                    Went to Saligao exchange but no action was taken - would say " now you go home, we will send our technician to repair your phone"
                                    Went to Maousa exchange - said go to Saligao exchange.
                                    On 22/11/2011 - went to meet duty Manager in Saligao - he was out of office, so submitted form to disconnect phone.
                                    Need some one in charge to look into this matter and get a refund.

                                        i have been having problems accessing some websites like yahoomail, wikipedia, dnaindia, etc with the bsnl- broadband internet connection that i m using. it does not open these sites. many other friends of mine have the same problem. after searching the internet i found that this is a problem with many bsnl broadband users. please help.

                                        Ialaos have the same problem, having 500C plan of BSNL . But i m not able to open the site biz.nf and other hosting sites. The same sites are opened at my office who have same 2 MPBS line connecdtion from BSNL with Cyber roam installed.

                                        im using bsnl-broadband connection for past one month. i got connection on oct 29th....i had my bill on 10th nov....for last three days of month oct. its bill estimated as 4462rs( four thousand four hundred and sixty two rupees...)by this my mind is upset....and the second month bill is showed in online....so i checked that for 2nd month again its showing that 4092rs.....i didnt download....else.....plz check this out and find me a solution..

                                        Upto the end of last month bsnl portal for broadband usage functioned without any hitch. Now the selfcare care has hijacked the programme and the customers are put to hardship since the broadband usage is not visible since the beginning of this month i.e. September. PARVATANENI

                                        The broadband speed is not good.It is very slow.very difficult to surf.BSNL has offered me 256Kbps speed but now i have only .07Mbps speed.
