[Resolved]  CESC — POWER CUT

Dear Sir,

This is to inform u that we are facing a critical situation from Yesterday morning (5.00 A.M.) Due to power cut. We have a heart patient in our house whose condition is very critical due to long power cut. We complain several times in your customer service. Our complaint No. is 0116610 but no response from ur side.

Your early action in this regard will be highly appreciated.

To whom it may concern,

This is to inform you that we all facing severe problem form yesterday morning (11 a.m) at Belur, Howrah area. We have complained numerious times in the number which CESC people has spread all over the city 1912, also in the regional office. But no action has been taken from their side. We have student of Engineering at our home whose examination is going on, also there are several old people in our area who are suffering a lot due to this irresponsibility of the CESC authority.

I request you to take a serious action against this issue.

Dear CESC team,

This is with reference to Complaint no. 0518765, lodged on May 26, 2009.

There is no power at 12 A/3 Priyanath Chakraborty Lane, Bonhooghly, Kolkata 700035 CESC line pole no. 63/3/1 for more than 30 hours now.

In fact, prior to the above mentioned complaint, on May 25, 2009 at 2.30 p.m. we lodged another complain with CESC complaint cell over phone through 1912 (complaint no. 0516126) for the same reason.

But irrespective of lodging two complaints over a period of two days time, no one from CESC Limited has visited my premise, neither the power has come. It seems that CESC is less bothered about the difficulties faced by someone, which is caused by this continuous power cut of over 30 hours now.

A quick action to resolve the serious problem would be much appreciated. I would at least expect CESC to respond back, and inform us when can we expect the situation to get over.

AND TILL WRITING THIS NOTE NO ACTION TAKEN.

WE HAVE TO LAY-OFF OUR WORKERS.

We are having a 14 power cut from yesterday 12.00 a.m. at night. Not all buildings but several buildings are facing this power failure.

What is C.E.S.C. doing? WE ARE HAVING A SERIOUS PATIENT IN OUR HOUSE.
There have been several complaints. They assured that they will be coming, but nothing has happened.

Please urgently look over into this matter.

My consumer No is [protected] & L.P. 207/50/15/0/3. We are facing tremendous power cut for the last 3 months. Apart from normal power cut our phase of 4 to 5 houses in our locality is facing frequent power cut specially in the mid night. Yesterday ( 17.06.2009 ) there was a normal power cut in our New Garia Co Operative at 6.30 PM. Power restored in the locality at 9 PM but our phase was out of power up to 3 AM in the night. This we have faced on 15.06.2009, 16.06.2009 and so many other mid nights. Our Phase specially goes out of power in the mid night. We do call 1912 without any result. Power comes in its usual time but this power failure repeates in the next day for a few houses. This has become a perinniel problem.
In the day time we have tried to call your mandivelle office for this perrinel problem in these numbers : 24406470, 24406916. The lady operators are very relutcant to talk or to listen to our problem. In most of the cases they do not pick up the telephone. Or by chance if they pick up the telephone, during the conversation they disconnect the line in between.
So it is a request to you to save us from this problem in the future. Otherwise, change our phase.

CESC — Powercut

Our office is located in Stephen House Kolkata - 700 001 area where we have a critical problem. Here there is a regular power cut for 3-4 hours in peak office hours which hampers a lot of offices work. We therefore request you to kindly take action against this issue.

First. The load shedding on 22 sep from 10.45 am till 2.30 pm and continuing. No body is picking up phone no 1912. More to agony is the atteitude of cesc official who are not ready to help . Secondly, bills are coming on the higher side inspite of cut on consumption and during the tenure of power failure during may june . ON a common parlance, it should be understood that out of 24 hrs, if load shedding is for 7-8 hrs and conumption has gone low, how can u run away giving a bull statement that - we have checked your bill and found all things correct . Such a irresponsible act and monopoly in electricity has brought such temprament to cesc. Central govt should withdraw and take either full control or partial stake in cesc ltd to but things in place and understand the problem of common men. Things not done fast, will certainly result in mass aggetation and govt will face the music.

This is to inform you that we are not satisfied by your service, on 09.08.2010 from 9.05pm to 2am we are facing a power cut problem in our house at 90A/3 Chatra Barui Para Lane, Serampore, Hooghly 712204.We called to 1912 for so many times but they only assured us that they had inform our complain to CESC but after 5hrs when your mechanic came they told us that that they get infomation on 12am and we 1st time call at 1912 at 9.18pm complain no. 072119 and 072399 but when mechanic came they give us the complain no 072397. Can we know why CESC take 5hrs to repair a minor problem ?When all things are going so fast Why CESC is so late ?
We are really not SATISFIED by your service .

Dear CESC team,

This is with reference to Docket no. [protected] & Docket no. [protected], lodged on September 22, 2010.

There is no power at 177, RAMESH DUTTA STREET, Kolkata 70006 on the meter of Consumer no. [protected] & [protected] since September 21, 2010 from 11am onwards.
In fact, prior to the above mentioned complaint, on September 23, 2010 at 3.30pm & on September 25, 2010 at 12.45 p.m. we lodged another complain with CESC complaint cell over phone through[protected] for the same reason.

But irrespective of lodging two complaints over a period of two days time, no one from CESC Limited has visited my premise, neither the power has come. It seems that CESC is less bothered about the difficulties faced by someone, which is caused by this continuous power cut of over 4 days now.
I have my parents at that premises, & they are senior citizen having so many physical problems e.g. B.P. DIABETICS etc. I am a married woman living with my husband at another premises. I & my husband have had enough to help my parents.
Now it’s your turn !!!

A quick action to resolve the serious problem would be much appreciated. I would at least expect CESC to respond back, and inform us when can we expect the situation to get over.

There had been a power cut in my area for more than 2 hours now. I lodged a complaint with CESC at [protected]. The customer supper person gave me a complain number and said a technical team will come, check and fix the problem within one hour. After waiting for more than 2 hours I called back to check the status. One of the customer service person named Debjani ill behaved and refused to pass on any information. Another person named Priyanka, said they do not have any information apart from what the automated system tells them.

Is the customer service people are always unable to give any proper information, then what is the use of keeping one such department at all?
