SUB: COMPLAIN FOR HUGE AMOUNT OF ELECTRIC BILLS
THIS IS TO BRING TO YOUR KIND NOTICE THAT I THE ABOVE MENTIONED CONSUMER OF CESC WOULD LIKE TO INFORM YOU ABOUT YOUR BILLING AMOUNT AND METER READED UNITS WHICH ARE FLUCTUATING AND INCREASING GRADUALLY FOR LAST FEW MONTHS. NO POWER CONSUMABLE EQUIPMENTS BEING ADDED TO MY HOUSE AND USAGE ARE NORMAL AS BEFORE, BUT WHY THERE IS SO MUCH DIFFERENCE OF THE METER READING?
I HAD CHECKED ALL THE WIRINGS, IT IS IN GOOD CONDITION. I HAD CHANGED ALL THE LIGHTS TO LOW WATTAGE CFL LAMPS. BUT STILL THE METER READING IS JUMPING UP CONTINUOUSLY. HOW CAN IT HAPPEN?
AS I FEEL THERE MAY BE TWO WAYS 1) THEFT OF POWER FROM MY METER. 2) MECHANICAL FAULT OF THE METER? BUT IN BOTH CASES I AM PENALISE AND PAYING MONEY TO YOU, WHY SHOULD I BEAR IT?

a) THE CURRENT CONSUMSION UNITS IS IMPOSSIBLY HIGH COMPARED TO THE PREVIOUS YEAR, ALTHOUGH THE WATT USAGE IS LESS THAN THE PREVIOUS YEAR.
b) IN THE LAST MONTH THE RECORD HIGHEST UNITS ARE CONSUMED AS PER YOUR BILL.
PLEASE LOOK AT THE METER READING FROM 02/10 BILL, IN AVERAGE THE CONSUMSION READING ARE 200 PLUS UNITS. BUT SUDDENLY THE METER READING WENT DOWN TO 161 UNITS; IT MAY HAPPEN IF THE METER WAS READ AT AN EARLY DATE. AND AS A RESULT THIS MOTH IT IS 327 UNITS.
FOR THIS HUGE UNITS BILL I HAVE TO PAY THE MAXIMUM RATE PER UNIT FOR YOUR READING. IS IT A PREPLAND WAY TO SQUIZE US ? WHY SHOULD I PAY MORE FOR YOUR MECHANICAL/MANUAL FAULTS ?
UNDER THESE CIRCUMSTANCES I AM REQUESTING YOU TO 1) CHANGE THE METER THROUGH
YOUR TECHNISIAN AS EARLY AS YOU CAN . 2) CONSIDER THE HUGE AMOUNT BILLL OF Rs.1710/-WHICH IS DIFFICULT TO PAY AT A TIME.
HOPE YOU WILL LOOK AFTER THESE MATTER AND TAKE THE NECESSARY ACTION AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE FOR OVERCOMING THE CONSUMER HARRASSMENT.
