Therefore i decided not to continue coaching in the same institute.

I don't know about the past about this institute but at present this academy has good facilities, good faculty who listen to each and every student's query and gives good solution and provides quality and updated study material based on the syllabus. many other facilities are provided there, library for students with big campus where students can spend time to study and also Success Guru A K Mishra be there with each student to help them and resolve there issues. They are helping us in preparation o[censored]PSC exam.
Dear Sir,

Please refer to my mail dated 16/11/2015 and our telephone conversation dated 28/11/2015.

Sir, as you’re aware that my daughter is suffering from leukopenia and I withdrew my daughter from the coaching classes for IAS by Chanakya IAS academy due to medical reasons. I approached you with a request to refund the tuition fees which I had paid in full for the entire year. It was heartening to hear that you’re considerate and during our telephone conversation you assured me that the amount will be refunded. You intimated that my request for refund has been accepted and agreed by your HO in Delhi and that the amount will be refunded to me within 25 to 30 days. .On 27/11/2015 one of my neighbour SJ Saheb had also spoken to you and you had assured him that the office in Delhi have considered the request for refund of money and the same will be done in 25 to 30 days.

Sir, I would like to mention that the condition of my daughter is deteriorating day by day and medical specialists have advised me that my daughter needs immediate advanced treatment. The medical treatment that has been suggested to me is highly expensive and yet it cannot be overlooked.

Considering the realities, it is pertinent that I follow the doctor’s advice .However; I cannot proceed with the treatment of my daughter as it is too expensive and for that I need money. Hence, I request you to refund the money in next 8 to 10 days which will enable me to proceed with my daughter’s medical treatment. I have already taken loan for her education and I cannot take another loan because of my poor financial situation. Hence I am requesting you again to refund the amount.

Hope to hear a reply from you within a day or two.
CHANAKYA IAS ACADEMY ...I don't know about what some of the x-fellow students might have gone through during there study and coaching at the institute. But, I believe, that it is our duty to inquire beforehand prior to taking admissions in any coaching institute. It may be a case of misunderstanding.

As far as any advertising campaign of the institute is concerned, every such institute does that and so do every company. You can probably refer to some of the major Civil services competitions magazine or any local daily of Delhi or even in some cases National newspapers. I wont call this as a propaganda of doing business, instead its something what every company does to acquire a certain segment of the market. Overall I feel that some of the instructors at Chanakya IAS Academy are among the subject knowledge experts, and its definitely an opportunity to learn from them. I have been a student of Chanakya IAS Academy Delhi Mukherjee Branch and this I am saying from my experience.

However, one preparing for an exam like Civil Services should be ready to face different challenges over the time to come. Remember one institute cannot make someone a Civil Servant, instead its an individual which shines out of the group of learners from the mentors and wins the race. And the learning doesn't have to necessarily be done at an institute, one can also do self study.

Further, If you have had trouble in studying from them (as what you said) you could have made them understand what exactly problems you were facing, maybe they could have shifted you to some other branch where some other instructor might be teaching, maybe that could have helped you. However if you were assured that your fees would be refunded if you don't like the classes then you can ask for it.

As far as my experience from the institute are concerned, the learning from Chanakya IAS Academy has given me good foundations to prepare for Civil Services. I am now continuing my self studies further to enhance my knowledge and to prepare myself for upcoming IAS exams. I wont do a comparison of the institute with others in the lime light of civil services coaching, but would definitely say that I learned a lot from this institute.

Most important impediment an aspirant face while preparing for civil services examination is the mind bristling with countless negative thoughts and uncertainties. In addition to coaching you for success, experts at Chanakya also help you overcome these disturbing thoughts.
Chanakya IAS Academy has not only coached me for civil services examination but also turned me into an incredible positive thinker. I was too much afraid of the extensive UPSC syllabus but a faculty beautifully narrated that “When eating an elephant take one bite at a time”. God bless al the dedicated faculty members of Chanakya IAS Academy.
what is so wrong about Chanakya.. so many Negative comments. i am confused now. Is the teaching standard below average?? please someone genuine or any ex members kindly give a genuine feedback. Thank you.
I am getting a Lot of negative feedback. please someone give a genuine feedback about this Institute as i am looking forward to join this year i.e next month. Thank you
This is about the pune branch of Chanakya. Unfortunately i have joined the institute and i will definitely not recommend this institute for anyone else. They do not provide any syllabus. They only send an sms two days before the class and only when you come to know about the subject going to be taught. And they may put you in any session even if the session is half way through. Infrastructure facilities are the worst you can imagine. No place to properly sit and have lunch. Library is too small and congested. And they do not even respond properly if you have raised any complaints to them.
We had taken admission for foundation course weekend batch for my son. I was told that only one lecture would be on weekday but they had guest lectures on weekdays scheduled for next 1 month which my son could not attend due to college. Hence we decided to cancel his admission ( he has not attended any lectures) . We had communicated this multiple times to the staff over the phone. The staff is very rude and they do not pick up the phones ( please try the office numbers and they will pick up only after multiple calls).

Today I received the letter stating that we are irresponsible etc. and admission stands cancelled with our deposits forfeited. We had mentioned that due to medical conditions we could not come to office and the staff insisted we give them this in writing multiple times. The website contact us section always shows up the following error ( this too was told to them) but still no action has been taken.

Internal Server Error
the server encountered internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Shailendra

PS I had heard very good feedback about this program but totally disappointed with the staff over there. I think the institute should first give the course to its staff so that they know how to listen and respond.
Chanakya High post manager are not good they are only
