Hi Sir, I am writing this letter to bring to your notice about the unfair practices happening in our area with respect to Drainage connections.I reside in the below mentioned address 102 A Balaji Nagar, Alwarthirunagar, Chennai - 87 which comes under the Nerkundram panjayat... Recently we were promised for a Drainage connection and we were asked to pay rs. 3000 by our area Counselor M.K. Kumar ([protected]). But until now no action is taken on this, its been 2 months since we made this payment. No receipt was given to us for this payment. Now we were told that the money which we paid was given to Government as Bribe and we are asked to pay an other 10000 Rs to get the connection. Now we are not interested to make this payment since we do not trust anyone regarding this. Need your help and support to fix this issue Thanks Ashok

Sir, I am a social worker and every Sunday I used to visit to Narikuravar Colony,Thiruvanmiyur(behind Jayanthi Theatre and near Thiruvanmiyur Railway Station),Chennai-41.. But I found that the area is full o[censored]nwanted debris and garbages.. Sir I am interested on small children..since there is no cleanliness on that area ...there is lot of possibilities for communicable diseases... I request your good self to arrange to clean the area please. The following things are also may kindly be considered further: 1.Proper drinking water facilities 2.Proper Toilet facilities 3.Proper street light facilities and 4.Other facilities as per Corporation norms and guidance Thank you sir Sincerely yours E.Ananthan

I am staying in Ullagaram near Oil Mill bus stop, madipakkam. There is a school near by our area (New Prince School). About dozen strey dogs wander in the area where most of the school children come to the school every day. These dogs are producing funny noise which is not good for the habitants also quarelling with each other during day and night which disturbs the sleep at night. Hence I kindly request you to send dog catchers with a corporation van so that these dogs can be caught and sent to some un-known destinations. Kindly do the needful at the earliest possible.

Removal of Debris - Chennai Corporation Zone: 12 Ward 166 (Gandhi Nagar)

There has been old debris which is not cleared which made the street width much smaller in part of Gandhi Nagar (Indira Gandhi Street, Anna Street, Elango Street, Bharathiyar Street) and thereby affecting the Vehicular movement. Eg: In Bharathiyar Street, there is an Old Electrical post which is not cleared thereby it occupies 1 feet of the road.

Request you to clear this at the earliest.

Road Missing for Last 1 year::

we have very worst road infront of corporation office, pallikaranai. This road has a stretch of 2km which starts from Pallikarani Corporation office, EB office, Mother Matriculation school, Visalakzhi enclave and till end. The Full stretch of this road and inners roads are very worst. Hope this road work will start by january and will finsish by January End. We have a lot of people staying in Pallikaranai, Chennai, But we don't have road yet after joining to Chennai Corporation.

We live in Madanandapuralm, Porur (en route to Kundrathur) and have to pass through the 1 cross street of Annai velankanni Nagar Phase 1 every day.

I see lots of high profile house on this street, but no roads ! for the past 5 years, I did happen to speak to the a few welfare association members of the area and they said that since panchayat and the recent corporation , failed to do their duty, the association has pooled in some money and has laid a kacha road (all that they could afford), and understand that the panchayat has records of laying roads every two years on this street (so the money has been eaten by these cockroaches) although there are no roads being actually laid.

I wonder when would we get to see our tax money put to our use and convenience.. sometimes i question as why do i need to pay huge taxes.... to our Non Performing Governments and Municipalities.


I have no choices but to complain, for i am meek and my actions have been got mild responses from the so called Panchayat and muncipality Engineers.


I don't believe that "India is Shining..." with all these cockroaches ...who just eat away our tax money with nothing meted out to us.

We live in House no. 12/26, 4th Main Road Gangai Nagar, Velachery. Garbage has been dumped in our adjacent plot and not cleared Velachery (Ward No. 153) for the past few years.

It has resulted in the garbage being strewed around and getting decomposed emulating unbearable stench. It is also breeding ground for insects & mosquito's.

As it is just off to our compound wall we are suffering...

I am a resident of Adikesavalu Lane, Chintadripet, Chennai for the last 25 years and the encroachments in this small road has been getting worse and worse in the recent years.

Although there is a Corporation Zonal office and a Corporation hospital which is not currently operational in this road, still this is one of most congested roads in Chintadripet. There are lots of garbage and permanent...

We stay at Vadivel Nagar, Nanmangalam, Chennai - 117. There are so many stray dogs on the streets which makes huge fuss during night and also poses diesese threat for young children. Please take necessary action to resolve this.

I am a permanent resident of 27th street, Thillai Ganga Nagar,Chennai 600061. For the past one year the street lights in front of my house were not burning. I give below the post nos. w18/p56 and w18/p57. Several complaints over phone made and till date it is unattended by the concerned authorities. Will you takeup the matter on behalf of the residence.

Though the place is surrounded with industries there is no proper road facility in "Developed Industrial Estate, OMR road, Perungudi, Chennai - 600096"

The address is alone named as 'Developed' but its really not. Even we have BSNL quarters. Still no proper road facility.

Requesting the concern authourities to take action before the rainy season starts.

Few weeks back i have made a complaint about not clearing of the garbage in ward no:29 which comes under New extended suburban ( Madavaram municipality). The garbage's are spilled all over the road causing the pedestrians a great deal of discomfort and a reeking smell.
The contractor who is not properly working in this area is not entitled for any payment from the corporation. I have attached some of the photo's for the authorities reference. Please do the needful.

Dear Sir,

Am Staying in VGP NAgar, Muggapier West. Here, lot of stray dogs are roaming in Sangeetha St, Pandiyan St. I have complaint to Ambattur Municipal corporation, but they said helpless, since their contract is expired with Chennai Corporation for conducting this activity. I have complained to Blue Cross Association and they have also said their non feasibility of taking action.

In the last 1 week, the dogs were bitten 3 to 4 childrens. It is very strange to walk in the streets of VGP Nagar.

We humbly request Chennai Corporation/ Ambattur Municipal corporation to take appropriate action on priority to save the chilndren

BRIDGE NEAR MADLEY ROAD SUBWAY OPP TO NARAYAMISSION SCHOOL. DAILY SO MANY SCHOOL STUDENTS ARE COMMUTING BY
THIS SERVICE ROAD AND SAMLL CHILDREN ARE VULNERABLE TO
BE WALKING WITH DEEP PATHOLES.

Sir,

Suvage water is leaking from the side walls of Madley Road, subway
on the central portion of the subway. This creates lot of health hazard
to commuters who are using this subway and it can cause accidents as
the centre portion of the bride there are lot pathholes created due to
wet condition this leakage creates. Two years back one commuter was
killed after accidentally hitting the pathole.

I sincerely hope the authorities concerned will try to stop this seepage
from the drainage which is located by the side of the bridge and cover
the patholes with solid material.

We are from BESANT NAGAR - 2nd Cross street , (same street where St Johns CBSE School is there )

Here garbage clearning is happening only once in a week , that too only SMALL BIN is kept and hence complete road is flooded with garbages as the residents & school bodies uses the same small bin kept near the school 2nd gate (which is locked)

Chennai Corporation and their garbage clearing company should take immediate action to avoid any health issues to the childrens and residents nead the school.

Either they should keep BIG BIN or multiple bins & also they should clean the garbage weekly 4 times.

Its been more then a year, bus shelters was removed from veterinary college(Vepery) bus stop. since then people here wait for the bus in scorching heat and pouring rains. several complaints given for the installment of bus shelter but no respite. Hope respective authorities build bus shelters as soon as possible.

I live in Vandalur(Near vandalur railway station),chennai,tamilnadu.i have following complaints:-

1. In my area & it's surroundings is very-very-very dirty...

2. very less street lights are here & those are of very old model street lamps,after a storm or raining it gets off for a long.Roads are dark due to lack of street lamps.So we need good & more number of street lamps.

3.our area roads are in very bad condition,no initiatives has been taken yet to construct good streets.in rainy season or after a little rainfall the entire road is filled by water & murd.we unable to cross walk on the road & even vehicles cant pass through the road.there are big holes formed on the entire road.

4.The area near the railway station is very-very dirty,very suffocating & unpleasant smell comes out of there.There are no dustbin facilities given in our area so that lots of waste is depossitted everywhere & due to that the number of pigs has been raised.still municipal corporation of chennai not came here to clean the area.sir we are suffering a lot.please help us.i am sure only you can help us regarding this issue.please as soon as possible try to solve the problem.
