[Resolved] Chennai Packers & Movers — Missing carton box | |||
My father-in-law K. Seetharaman had decided to move from Chennai to Bangalore on 18th March 2012 and booked the 65 consignments through Chennai Packers & Movers 25/1, JPR Palace, Dr. Ambedkar Nagar, 200 Feet Inner Ring Road, Kolathur, Chennai - 99; Phone[protected], 2650 3401. The consignment arrived on 20th March 2012 with one carton box missing. The cartons were not properly numbered and we had prepared a list at the point of booking which was checked with at the point of delivery at Bangalore. One carton box was missing and it was pointed out and it was duly recorded in the delivery Bill # 4674 dated 18.3.2012. Also the lid of the washing machine was found broken at the hinge and is recorded in the delivery bill. The carton box was found on the same day and it was promised for the past 4 days that it would be delivered but to no avail. On 24th when I contacted the company's office at Bangalore @[protected] one Mr. Madhusudhanan started using abusive language and another Mr. Elumalai who is supposed to deliver the box said he would not do so because of our repeated follow-ups. I urge you to take up this matter as the customer is being toyed with and abused with very bad language in Tamil and the said company is not intent on delivering the carton box or setting the washing machine lid right and evading any answers nor do they pickup their phones. This is in gross contravention to the consumer protection act and such logistics operators are a bane to society. Request you to intervene and settle the matter with due apologies from the company for abusing the customer. Regards, Rangarajan (for Mr. K . Chennai Movers and Packers — Missing Carton Box
I have Moved from Chennai to Hyderabad on 8th of October. My luggage was loaded from chennai on 3rd of October and delivered on 11th of October. I had a pack of 10 items which needed to be delivered. on delivery they gave me 10 items and i accepted them( all the packs had my LR number written on them, hence i accepted all the packets ). After the delivery team was gone, i opened all my cartons and was surprised to see that, instead of my carton which had all ma important books, i was delivered someone else`s carton with imp Kitchen items ( something like a Food Processor inside ). I called the Hyderabad No. Immediately and told them that a wrong carton box has been delivered to me. They said that, they will check where is my box and let me know. There was no response from them and i kept calling. Initially they told me that they have my carton but since there is no delivery of my area they are not able to deliver, so as and when they get a delivery of my area they will send my parcel. But days passed but no delivery took place and they stopped taking my call. Then i called Chennai office and they made them explain about my problem. They said they will check and get back to me. But as usual no one came back with any response. Now when i call the chennai office they tell me that i need to come to chennai office and talk.As per their policy i have paid the full amount to them. But my Carton still holds missing. Kindly help me out on how to proceed further on tracking ma carton box.
