[Resolved]  Civil Supplies Corporation of Tamil Nadu — Delay in issue of Ration card!

I'm K.Hariharan, working in an automobile manufacturing company in chennai. I have recently applied for ration card on my name.
My date of application is[protected]. Till now (7th October 2007), I havent received my ration card. My repeated visits to the nearest civil supplies office haven't yielded any results. My name has been duly removed from my father's ration card in nagercoil and for the past 10 months i have no ration card.

I had applied for the new ration card attached with all necessary certificates enclosed before Oct-07 till now i didnt receive any proper information from the concern department. My need is to get the Gas connection and i applied for the TSO certificate also but they have lost that application also.

my wife has applied for herselef and my son on 06/03/2008 and so far the taluka office in tiruvallur has not responded. this is not the case with me only and there are pending cases right from 2006 which I have heard personally when vising the taluka office. I have visited the taluka office "N" number of times in vain and all they do is write down the applicant details and shove you off. Application receipt no: 251/08/vgr dated 06/03/2008.

I like to know the opening and closing time of a ration shop in rural area .Eg.area called urappakkam.

sir, v r staying in kellys area and our rashon shop no. is DA026.on 17th when my neighbor went to buy rashon she was told except for sugar nothing is available.We are buying things regularly from there.how come it got over, more over I am working and I can go to the shop only when i have leave because they close the supply at 12.30pm. I can not go to the shop when they want us to be there.it will be very helpful to us if there is rashon supply in the evening too.Thank you'

Sir, I am residing in Ramapuram. Recently Civil Supplies Dpt. announced all o[censored]s to come & show out indentity with residentital proof for continuing with the existing ration card. I went to ration shop & shown necessary proof & they took my old card & given a ack.slip & asked me to collect ration aftersome time. When I went to collect my ration card I had shock of the day, where my name has completely changed [from RAMA to ISIMA] address, door no. nothing was correct. I wrote a letter mentioning all the above along with the proof for my actual name - RAMA & handedover to Ration card office in T. Nagar. Till now I am yet to hear from them. To my utter surprise ration shop allotted to me in Ramapuram has got my right address. With very great difficulty I took back my card, as they called my name as ISIMA in T. Nagar ration office whereas I was expecting call in the name of RAMA & ultimately none of the staff, even the officer incharge was unable to accept the fact & do the needful. Instead they said it was not their problem, as they have not done it. I am w/out proper ration card for months together.
AS A SENSIBLE CITIZEN I AM NOT BLAMING & I EXPECT ONLY SPEEDY SOLUTION FOR THE PROBLEM WITHOUT ANY FURTHER DELAY.
I WOULD BE GRATEFUL IF CONCERNED AUTHORITY IN CIVIL SUPPLIES OFFICE / FOOD SECRETARY CAN TAKE UP THE MATTER WITH PERSON CONCERNED & RESOLVE THIS ISSUE.

i have missed the ration card then after i have file the complaint on 18.01.10 complaint no : N A/45/10 MY OLD RATION CARD NO.02/9/0483304/1691ZA010 AND WOULD LIKE TO INFORM THAT I HAVE SHIFT FROM OLD ADDRESS TO NEW THIS ALSO I HAVE INFORMED TO THE DEPARTMENT BUT STILL IHAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY INFORMATION FROM THE OFFICE

We mrs geetha and mrs naveen kishore residing in west c.i.t. nagar, our ward no.136, street no.024, old door no.36, new door no.2, shop no.LC024, shop name west c.i.t.nagar, registered no.892, family card no.02/G/0493895 and registered no.891, family card no.02/G/0493894 respectively. since we both are employed we have to send our servant to purchase rice and other condiments, but in tucs shop they refuse to give rice and insist the card holders to come if they purchase rice. We already submitted our authorisation and complaint letter to S.E. saidapet. but they still refuses to issue rice. hence we request your goodself to help in purchase of rice through our servant by instructing shop No.024 (west c.i.t. nagar) to get authorisation letter from us and issue rice. We are working women have no time to go personally, hope you will help in this matter.

In kancheepuram District, New Perungalathur Ration shop in RMK Nagar,

the ration shop persons are selling the items like bags of Rices,

Sugar, Oil to the private shopkeeper at double rate, it happens in front of the public itself & they are quite confidant that the concerned authority wil keep quite, if some part of money is given, even though of public compliant, tis happens especially in RMK nager ration shop by storing the packet in a house adjacent to the ration shop. No Action can be taken by the concerned Department in this regard. Shame on Civil supplies dept of tamilnadu.

Hi Am B. Ram mohan residing in Plot No: 70, Srinivasa Nagar Extn, Tirur, Thiruvallur District - 60202. This compliant is with regards to my ration shop at the tirur area which is alloted to our family in Periyar street, tirur, thiruvallur district, Person in charge of the ration shop is Mr. Anbazhagan.

Our compliant is that always the shop is closed, we are not able to know when the commodities are coming and when he is distributing. We have shifted recently to tirur from Arumbakkam and we have got oil, pulses and other items which are sold in the ration shop when we were residing in arumbakkam but now in this tirur ration shop he has informed that till 2010 the same was issued to everyone but since our card is a sugar card we are not eligible for the same. Kindly let us know if we are eligible to get the other items apart from sugar on paying basis. My mobile number is[protected]

sir mera apl card bna hua hai but suppier mujhe ration nahi deta hai uska kahna hai ki maire pas koi entry nahi hai or mujhe 2 month se jyada ho gaye hai but mujhe ration nahi mil rha hai sir ma kya karu maire pure parivar ko kafi pareshani ho rahi hai

I live in Karapakam OMR and am single, i tried to apply for a ration card and they say that for single people ration card cannot be given, if the government is expecting everyone to get married to give a ration card what are the benefits being given to us?
