[Resolved]  Concorde Builders / Developers — Very BAD Quality of Work

I had high Hopes when I had bought an Apartment in Concorde Midway City near Electronics City, Bangalore Since the Builders claimed themselves to be in the same league as of Shobha and Mantri. For the least expected of them was an apartment with very good quality though they have taken more than a Year's delay in completing all the work. All amenities are still not completed to 100% even after one year of Delay.
Atleast the work completed so far should have been of Good quality, if not the Best considering all the Delays. The sad part of the story is that Quality is very bad and still complaints are not being rectified. The person in charge, one Mr. Shashidhar, thinks he is the King and all residents are his Subjects and behave unbelievably Bad with unwarranted Rage and 'Waiting to Burst out' nature, the only time i have seen him stay mum is when his seniors come to the location.

There is a Major concern over the Internal Copper Gas Piping installed by Concorde for all the Apartments from the Utility area to the Kitchen. With Complete Trust in the quality of material used, people have built their Modular Kitchens and started using the gas connection only to find out later that there is a leak internally in the Gas piping. It was later mentioned by one owner during his work that the piping was of inferior quality and with bad joints. This is a major concern which is related to even the safety of people staying in the apartment.

In addition to this there has been constant complaints of the water being contaminated and unfit for which any investigation liable is not being done.

I have started staying for the past 4 months in this place and i am experiencing the Bad quality of work and the Worst Customer Service Ever. Within this very short period, i am seeing a lot of problems in the quality of materials used by the Builder for the interiors. All the owners have a group mail address which is daily filled with complaints from all residents regarding a few of the items mentioned below.

Quality is paid the least concern while the interiors are being done for the apartments as against the exterior work. This has been seen in so many of the materials used inside the house. To list a few:
1. Bad Door Knobs / Hinges - Already broken (Hardly a few months)
2. Low quality Gas pipes - Gas leak in Kitchen
3. Bad flooring/Tiling - Quality is terrible
4. Low quality painting (Distemper)
5. Quality Water Supply Smell of Kerosene (Atleast they are trying, i hope)
6. Bathroom false cieling - Rusting already
7. Sliding Doors Locks/ Glass - Rubber padding already spoilt
8. Quality of Electrical fittings (I had 3 switches and 2 regulators changed so far)

They (Concorde) made us pay the entire amount, UNTIL THE LAST RUPPEE before we could take possession of the house, so dont we deserve to get a PERFECT HOUSE. I believe it is our right to demand that all these things should be fixed by Concorde even if it means a loss to them due to rework (They should have done it right in the first place). Then, Atleast from now, they would use better quality products (if not the best) in their future apartments.
