[Resolved]  Credit Card — Waiver/reversal of penalty and finance charges

I have your credit card no: [protected]. I made payment of your last bill[protected] to 21.05.08) by means of cheque no: 631386 dated 02.06.2008 for Rs. 829.50 and dropped it in your box at your Sec-9, Cghandigarh Branch. On 23.06.08, I received an SMS saying that my card shows "overdue status". I contacted your executives who advised me to make payment in cash to enable them to credit the amount and reverse the penalty and finance charges. I immediately deposited Rs. 830/- at your Sec-9, Chandigarh Branch.

As advised, I contaced your Chandigarh [protected] for help in the matter. I was asked to hold the line for two minutes. I kept holding the line for 10 minutes but the lady at the other end just went missing.

Will you reverse the amount of penalty andf finance charges as no fault can be attributed to me for the delay?
