[Resolved] Customer Service — harvey road service station derby | |
This evening (16th September 2009) at 21.50 I pulled onto the forecourt of your Service Station expecting to be able to fill my car with Petrol. After waiting for several minutes in what can only be described as the 'Twilight Zone!' and watching your employee quite oblivious to our presence chatting away on the telephone in the office, only after I approached the window did he infact put the phone down. He walked around the building to come to the front window, only to inform us that the Station was closed for 'shift changeoever' he had also sellotaped a handwritten note to the window to say that they would not be re-opening until 11pm and hour and 10 mins after my arrival. What sort of nonsense is this in a time when I would imagine even Total cannot afford to turn customers away, luckily I was not desperate and made my way to a local Garage where the service was more ammeniable to say the least. This does not create a positive image for your company and I would add that up until this point I have found Harvey Road to be a good service station, but with the wrong employees this will undoubtedly be shortlived. No proper response and unappropriate answers and lethargy attitude towards customers. The manager treats the customer as if he is shipping for free.
