[Resolved] Delhi Jal Board — Wrong Bill Generated

Hello, water bill for Nov 2010 for my connection came with much more higher value as it used to be, first the meter reader shown wrong reading, and prepared the bill accordingly, second the bill is generated on avg. kilo litre basis and they are not changing and preparing the bills on the same basis for the last 6 month.
Also in my area there is no civer supply available but in my bill civer charge its adding past sixth month.

Please help me on that.

My water meter was stolen in Jan.2009 and the new Crescent water meter bearing Sr. No. 143078,
was installed in Jan.2009. And the necessary papers were submitted in RK Puram Jal Board Office.
But it has not been endorsed in the records, still I am getting old meter record of RMCO DJB.

The following details of the previous bills received and paid as under:

1. Meter Reading 151 AD-HOC bill Rs.204/= paid on 26/12/09 Receipt No.5653
2. Meter Reading 180 AD-HOC bill Rs.100/= paid on 29/03/10 - do- 10155
3. – do- 216 AD-HOC bill Rs.100/= paid on 17/07/10 -do- 13716
4. – do- 252 AD-HOC bill Rs.300/= paid on 23/10/10 -do- 16645

After this the meter reader never visited the premises till date and sending the bills on an average consumption with the report the meter is dusty, where as still the meter is functioning alright.

20 months consumption 339 Units Bill Rs. 2004/= paid on 17/01/2011 Receipt No.21063
(Here I would like to bring to your kind notice that they already charged for that period up to 252 units,
And again they raised the bill without verifying their own records)

6. Reporting Meter Dusty Bill sent for Avg.09/03/2010 to 18/12/2010 (Avg.22 months 59 units)
Bill Rs.873/= paid on 12/04/11 Receipt No.28679
7. Reporting Meter Dusty Bill sent for Avg. AD-HOC bill Rs.100/= paid on 22/07/11 Receipt No.33120
8. The latest bill received in the same manner Meter dusty bill raised upto 30/07/11 showing AVG
For 22 months consumed 105 units, here again the bill was prepared without visiting the premises
The bill amounts to Rs.1360/= and the last date of payment is 29/11/11, which I am going to pay
In time.

I would request you to kindly go through the system to check weather your staff is doing their duties or fleecing the innocent public.
In the last I would like to bring to your kind attention that my meter is not dusty and the reading is 483 units which was noted on 21/11/11 by me at 19:00 hours.

I hope you will look into the matter personally and do the needful for the future.
