hi,
i would like tro put complaint for a low floor DTC bUS RUNNING FROM SHAHDARA TO HASANPUR DEPOT, ON 26th October, at 2:00 pm.the BUS driver stopping the bus on their own at any stop, as it is the rule tht whether the passenger is present on the bus stop or not, the driver has to stop the bus for 2 -5 min on the stop, but as i was with my brother on bike and we were following the bus from shyamlal college, shahdara and bus driver catch one passenger from bihari colony stop, opened its door but didn't fully stop the bus and as soon as my brother stopped the bike and i get diown, he closed the doors and before that my brother didfn't allow me to catch the running bus.and even after tht the driver didn't stop the bus on the next stop also as we were just behind the bus n waiting for it to stop.and on being asked he said tht if passenger will not be there on stop, hewill not stop the bus instead of knowing him tht we were following the bus, abd on being asked by my brother he didn't replied his name, tht was really sarcastic of these low floor buses, it has been made for modernisation and to follow systematic way, as always followed by low floor buses in abroad.the driver has to be punioshed for this n should know how to handle and run such buses for needy passengers,

Mangla Transport — Parking in front of gate

Dear Sir,

We are resident of 15-8-296, Durga Complex, Goshamahal, Hyderabad-12, opp. to Shah Inayat gunj Police Station. Our complex is commercial complex having transport at Ground Floor. There are two gates one for Residential entry and second one for commercial. The problem is with the Mangla Transport, which parks its lorry on the road. All vehicles who book their goods at this transport park their vehicle in front of the gate, and leaving no space to move freely. Others who visit various office in the complex also park their vehicle on the raod towards the entry.

Shahinayat gunj police station is dead opposite to our complex, and they are turning blind eye towards this problem, even after repeated complaints. We as a society request you to look into this matter and also provide protection, as we fear backlash from this people, who are powerful as well as have money power. Due to this, we could not complaint to higher authorities.

I have photographs of the uneasy situation(Parking) taken on different days.

I hope our problems will be solved without any conflict.

i boarded bus dl-ip b5043 on 06.05.09 at 0930am at sec-18, rohini and took ticket for GTK bye pass.on reaching byepass, i requested driver to stop the bus at byepass stop, but he did not stop the bus at stop and said there is no stop for byepass and those who are stopping at byepass are stopping by BHAI BANDHI (at there whims and fancies). and he misbehaved with me by saying that you go back although i was very far away from stairs.the conductor also informed that there is no stop for byepass.bus stopped at GTK depot stop

I am a resident of Mayur Vihar Phase-3, Delhi. Since last two months we are facing a very big transportation problem from this area. The DTC Route No.611 & 398 buses are not available in the morning time (from 8am to 10 am) whcih results the commuters couldn't reach office in time. After several complaints to the DTC complaints cell there is no action has been taken till date to solve this problem. The depot inchrage is also not doing anything to divert other route buses in thess route. He doesn't bother to hear the commuters complaints. We also doubts that he is taking bribe from Blueline bus owners & playing game with public. After shutdown of the NOIDA DTC depot there is no buses coming from there. You are requested to kindly look into the matter & do the needful to ply 611 & 398 bus routes.

Public Bus — Bus unavailable

Hellow, my name is krasty.I am living at laxmiguda their is only 1 bus [95m] come from koti to laxmiguda.this bus come from shastripuram colony route to laxmiguda . But from 7 months the driver did not maintaining time shedules.I am standing more than 1 hour for that bus in the evening when coming from college .I dont known whom to give a complent letter. sir please take action for this bus as a request.thanking you.

In rosera(bihar) there is no networks in so many days. i was so many times trying to call my mother number. very -very poor performance reliance compony fasilitys..

H A L — Missing of trips by DTC

There are only 2 trips operated by DTC from Gurgaon ( Sector 56, Kendriya Vihar point) to Delhi (Safdarjang Terminal) at 0740 hrs and 0800 hrs. DTC buses with registration No.s 2832 & 2828 are allocated for these trips. For the last 2 weeks these buses do not turn up or by mistake even when they turn up, they break down on the way or break down at the starting point itself.
These buses cater for East Gurgaon residents in Kendriya Vihar and other residents in around East Gurgaon with in a radious of 6-7 Kms. I normally come by own car to catch this bus from a distance of 5 Kms. Like me there are as many as 20 persons who come on their own vehicles to board this bus. In the absence of these buses we are put to a lot of inconveniances as there is no other public transport facility to go to Delhi where our offices are located. We will be grateful if these trips are restored and atleast one reliable bus which does not break so frequently is provided. Thank you.

THE BLUELINE MAFIA WILL NOT LET THE DTC PLY.

TEXT OF THE ADDITIONAL PIL TO FILED IN THE SUPREME COURT.

With reference to your directive to DTC to augment it's fleet, via a Judicial Directive..I have this to say.

I request you to kindly take cognisance of the fact that there are many vested interests who will see to it that the blue line buses are not phased out. I as a citizen am witness to the strong arm mafia tactics employed by the blue line operators to prevent the DTC buses plying on time and see to it that they always lag a DTC bus.

Also the conditions of the buses are pathetic with rickety seats and dirty seat covers, loud blaring music from substandard audio products
and the feel of sitting in a truck.Not one effort has been made to see whether the neatness element has been adhered to . All these years the citizens have been made to RIDE ON TRUCKSs in the name of public transport.
The Govt. owes the people an explanation or else the courts will issue
strictures.

I suggest a court commitee travel incognito in a blueline to take get a firsthand feeling and then issue contempt notices to the Govt. for letting the STA give permits to these buses. Ask why the STA should not be wound up.

I hence request you to kindly to kindly set a time table for the eventual phaseout of these buses (preferable within a year), as a continuation of them, even a bit longer will strengthen the vested interests. REMEMBER that even if the DTC procures 5000 buses, only 500 will be able to run as the BLUE line mafia will ensure that they run in such a away that people will be forced to board the blue line buses as the corruption and mismanagement in DTC is well known.SO PLEASE ISSUE a DIRECTIVE to the TRANSPORT DEPT. thet these buses should be phased out in about a year. The Govt. will be able to find a solution as 2008 being a election year they will not let the citizens suffer.

THe Govt. will have the necesary will to find a solution and will invite reputed Corporates to run buses without any vested interests .

Another point I would like to stess on is the control of the Blueline mafia on the plying of DTC buses. I dont know the exact extent of the nexus between the blueline mafia and the DTC depot personnel...but it is a well known fact that some senior personnel of the DTC run their own Blueline buses.

Proof of this which was captured on my cell phone camera when DTC buses were caught purposely plying behind Blueline buses on the same route.Some drivers and conductors do this for as little as a cold drink.I dont know the exact strength of the fleet on road, but for all practical purposes DTC has stopped running after 5 P.M as they are perpetually short of drivers who are mostly on contract basis.

And lastly, one more point which was not stressed in the PIL filed against Blueline buses is that they overspeed everywhere because in some bus stops where there are no traffic policemen they wait inordinately long idling away in the hope of picking up more passengers. hence to make up for the time spent on idling, , , they speed up on the route so that the bus scheduled after this one does not overlap and both drivers end up fighting with each other.

In this process of overspeeding, which they SIMPLY CANNOT AVOID, whatever the checks on roads and hence they end up killing people.

This makes it all the more imperitive for the eventual phaseout of these BLUELINE buses by 2009 and not by 2012 as suggested by thr Govt.

I am a resident of Raghubir Nagar, Delhi. Since last two years we are facing a very big transportation problem from this area. The DTC Route No.408 & 842 buses are not available in the working time (from 8am to 7 pm) which results the commuters couldn't reach office in time. After several complaints to the DTC complaints cell there is no action has been taken till date to solve this problem. The depot inchrage is also not doing anything to divert other route buses in thess route. He doesn't bother to hear the commuters complaints. We also doubts that he is taking bribe from Blueline bus owners & playing game with public. You are requested to kindly look into the matter & do the needful to ply 408 & 842 bus routes.

Another point I would like to stess on is the control of the Rikshaw Pullars mafia on the plying of DTC buses. I dont know the exact extent of the nexus between the Rikshaw Pullars mafia and the DTC depot personnel, they demand the fair of some distance is very high rate, like 10 Rs. 15 Rs. for 1 or 2 klmtrs.

Service — Bus doesn't stop on predefined stops also

Hi,

There are many Buses which DOES NOT stop on their predefined bus stops even they are COMPLETE EMPTY. People are waiting for Bus since long and if any bus comes tht does not stops. These is really redicous. As in the morning people need to go to office as early as possible and even if they miss one bus by 1 min, they might get traffic ahead and again gets more late. This is really a BAD START of MORNING.

In the evening also, people get late bcoz of bus drivers this bad attitude. Just consider that, If mother has keep her baby for baby sitting, and if mother gets late not bcoz she left her office late but bus driver did not stop bus and her waiting time on bus stop increases. and she gets lates.

Think about senior citizens. They even don't have energy to stand long. still they have to bcoz of bus dervier and abivous bus condutor behavior.

It is not only Bus Driver, but Bus Conductor also don't stop bus. They are driving like private bus.

For ur refernce Bus no 525, 40, 489 etc

Please take this issue very serious. Bcoz finally it is simply waste of time for people who are standing on bus stop. As they are not doing any productive work and not able to give time for their Family also.

I hope this small issue will get resolved soon to get everyone better every day life.

Dear Sir,

It seems it may not be appropriate to file complaint here but as a troubled passenger I'll certainly do.

This complaint is regarding Green Low floor Bus plying on Route No 740. At around 7:10 AM the bus does not stop at the bus stop. This I have faced so many times at Shakar Pur bus stand. The driver seems to be in a very much hurry to reach his destination without passengers that's why even after waving hands at him for requesting to stop the bus, he doesn't care and doesn't stop the bus. DTC higher officials must check such type of drivers whether they have taken money from Blue line drivers. What is the purpose of plying a big (empty) bus if it doesn't carry passengers ? Or is there any sort of manufacturing defect in the bus so that the driver finds it very difficult to stop.

this bus service is poor than xpected i m a student & i must have to take the bus by 7:30 to reach college by 9:00 but ther is no bus available by 8:00 most of the time this has become nuisance to me & other people also also the drivers are so careless they never stops the buses on stop made by the govt.and also closs the door irrespective of people safety. after paying so much fare neither we get seats to sit nor we are treated like humans .So i kindally request sheila dixit to look after this problem
