Dish TV — Dish TV deducting channels inspite of payment made
I have taken a dish tv connection in the month of January 09. The connection no is [protected].
My problem is that we have taken the Platinum package which is the highest category as per the website in order to avail most of the channels. We have observed that each month starting from February two channels are removed from the package.
The channels removed were as foll:
Feb: UTV movies & Bindas
March: CNN IBN
April: Zoom and Times Now.
Also all these channels were removed without any notification to us.
All these channels were earlier stated to be a part of the platinum package. When we contacted the customer service ( whom we were able to reach with great difficulty) we were told that Dish tv at their wish and will can remove or add any channel at any point in time. Well we have not seen any channels being added.
When we are subscribing to a package and paying for the channels for the same then what right does the channels have to remove the promised channels. This way at the end of it we will hardly have some two or three channels.
Also my reason for taking the platinum package was to avail all channels and have peace of mind. This deduction of channels every second day is a big headache and mind you we dont have so much of time to waste on renewing channels every day.
Also when I have payed given the fact that I will be given these many channels then I dont see that Dish tv has any right to deduct channels as per their whims and fancies.
Another issue that we face is that with your customer care. We dont get connected for along time and when we do the executives hang up the phone in between the conversation to avoid answering queries. Also they are extremely rude. I dont think that in today's competitive world one can afford to provide such a pathetic service.
