[Resolved]  Dr. Agarwal Eye Hospital — BAD SERVICE

Address:Chennai, Tamil Nadu

THE COMPLAINT IS REGARDING DR.AGARWAL EYE HOSPITALS.

I visited Kolathur branch(My ref # 002573) for testing my eyes and changed my specs which has not solved my purpose. The power prescribed to me was terribly wrong. I couldnt see properly and was trying to manage for around 5 months, the same has been partially accepted by the Ashok Nagar branch by a couple of Doctors. Then I visited Ashok Nagar branch(My ref # 029957) which has given me the right readings and ordered for a-so-called BRANDED specs in the same opticals. Its just 2 months from now and I had so many scraches for which I am not the reason.

I am a constant user of specs and I dont travel much as my office is just 3 kms away from home and on a daily basis the maximum distance of drive would be 8kms & I use my helmet regularly. There is no chance of the scraches. Also, basis the opticals incharge's instuction, I used to wash only with flow water once in 2/3 days and do not use dry cloth. With such a good maintenance still I have encountered the problem. Also I have asked for day&night cooling which was not proper in the specs.

When I visited the Ashok nagar branch for raising a complaint, they have promised me that the replacement would be given by Monday evening provided I give the frame on Monday morning. When I visited the branch yesterday to know the status, nobody had a clue and they have promised me that I will get a call in the next 5 mins on the status. But they were bringing revenue of 1 rupee to the hospital by not calling me. When I CALLED they said that the Mumbai office wants to test the glasses and only then they will do the replacement. How can a patient with power of around (-2) can work/see/drive/live( I work for a Service industry) without glasses till the time the scientist tests and provides me the replacement which may drag to a week even. IS THIS WHAT SERVICE IS ?????

My frustation here is, how a DOCTOR or AN OPTOMETRIST can make such mistakes, rather BLUNDERS that will affect a PATIENT. If a person walks-in to the hospital for such small issues often, it clearly shows the level of service a hospital provides.

I understand that mistakes are common, but should not be in HOSPITAL services, even if it is so, the first thing is to dilute the so-called process and provide a proper resolution to the PATIENT without any delay.

If I do not get my problem resolved in the next 2 days, my voice WILL BE HEARD in the Senior Management's ears thru regulatories.

I visited Tambaram branch - they treat pateint jut the way Goverment general hospitals treat... The counceller person in thi brach is very very rude indeciplined... I had an apppointment today but could not go due to some unavoidable reasons. I got a call from the Tambaram branch counceller aking explainations for not coming at the metioned time a i started explaing him he started abusing... he was shouting on top of hi voice saying "y u all visit here and waste our time.. y can't u go to G.H... Don't you have sense..this that..." i felt very disappointed to get in an argument with an office boy first of all... and i realied Agarwal hopital's employee are kind of Paid Goverment hospital staff. Everyone in the Branch are rude..upset..busy... This could be due to overload also. Hope someone who read's this message take some action and appoint enogh staffs so that atleast future visitors get proper respone...
Worst eye hospital

My dad lost one of his eyes because of this irresponsible hospital. My dad had to undergo eye surgery which was actually not needed at that time. This was actually recommended by a genius doctor in agarwal eye hospital, tambaram branch, chennai. Actually before doing surgery they have to take eye pressure and body blood pressure tests. They did not take this tests and did the operation which resulted in failure. My dad faced immense unbearable pain on his eyes and when we asked the main hospital branch in nungambakkam, chenna they did some tests and told us that it's nothing to worry and gave us some eye drops for pain. Later everyday for almost a week my dad suffered more pain on his eyes. So we went this time to srm hospital. There after taking tests they told us that the eye nerves were completely rotten and not even proper cleaning was done after eye surgery. We really got shocked and then we had to remove his eye. They would have told us that something went wrong with the operation but instead they lied because of the fear that they would get sued evidently. So please avoid going to this money sucking, ill treating, useless. Now we treated the other eye of my dad recently arvind eye hospitals, madurai. My dad is completely doing good with his one eye. Extremly good care in arvind eye hospitals, madurai. Well caring and truthful. God always has some good people like them in this world. God bless these good hearts. With tears i am writing this because my father lost one of his precious eyes because of this murderers agarwal eye hospitals.
