[Resolved]  Election Commission Of India (West Bengal) — Non allotment of Voter Id Card

Dear sir,

I am sujata agarwal, residing at siliguri, astha appertment 3rd floor, hakimpara, opp- jts club.ward no. 15
I have no VOTER CARD but i am trying since last 7-8 years & submite my all docoment like
RESIDENCIAL CERTIFICATE, PAN CARD, SCHOOL CERTIFICATE, MARKSHEET, RENT RECIPET,
MUNCIPAL CORPORATION RECIPET, ELECTRIC BILL. but after hearing i cannot see my name in the
list.
so, sir i want to know that what is the reason behind this, & what is the problem.

Please note that I have been applied for the Voter Identity Card through proper channel but some how my name have not been appeared in the list declared recently at our Dum Dum constituency.

In the year 2009 June I have come in West Bengal State and presently residing at Falakata, jalpaiguri District. I am born and brought up at west bengal, but for my job I was at Jharkhand for a long time.Last time i applied for Voter I.D. Card for myself and my wife and submitted all doc. as required during the process. We also appeared during hearing on[protected], but none of we two has got the voter I.D. Card. i received my voter id card this month and noticed two mistakes in it.
1) my sex
2) my address
since a correction process is on-going from 30th oct to 23rd nov., i asked the officer in-charge(the head-master of that school) how could i remake my voter id card, he replied angrily as he was not the person to be blamed for the fault, he couldnot help me.he also added that he had lots of work to do hence he could not manage the extra burden.next i somehow managed to get a no.8 form, filled it up and went to submit it to the same school, he refused to accept it and showed me the door.
now what may be my necessary step?

I and my wife applied for a change of address. Sumitted filled up form for change of address along with photograph pasted in local office. When the voter list was hanged our names were missing. Local office informed that we have to go to Barast SDO office for photograph. We went there took undergone the photography procedure. The office confired delivery by a receipt on 24.02.2011. Attended the office for delivery. received the feedback that the card is not ready and to check again on 27.01.2011.

Could you please confirm me when these harrasment of general citizen by govt official ic going to end.
What is your alternate means to provide the cards to the citizen.

I had a voter card with my maiden name "Sangeeta Chattopadhyay" with card No.FKY3273802 but I hav surrendored it so as to get a new voter card with change of name and address. I have done all the processes required and produced all documents

We would Like to bring to your kind notice that in our locality, lots of illlegal activities are going on, like sale of chullu liquor, satta, ganja, steeling of the goods from a loaded trucks, prostitution ect;but the officer and the OC of Baranagar Thana inspite of knowing each and everything, they dont take action.They only harrase the common and innocent people.they catch innocent people and put them behind bars with heavy cases.It may be found that the OC of the said thana is influence with the local political leaders. So he is in pressure to not to take action against the illlegal activities practised in the above said locality.
So sir we request u to please take stern action against the OC of the said thana.hence we request you to please make a surprise visit to this locality to inspect yourself.

I, Md. Ali Reza, am working as Working Assistant in Bishnupur Sub-division under Sundarban Development Authority of W.B. Govt. The Sub Division was asked to submit a list of names of all the employees to participate in the coming election. Accordingly, a list of names of the employees has been sent. Unfortunately, my name has been excluded from the list. But as an employee of this sub division I am eager to take part in the ensuing election.
I also beg to state that a list of the names of Work assistants and Khalasi most of whom has been working in this sub division for the past 26 – 27 years, has already been sent. In the beginning they joined as casual worker in this sub division in 1983 – 84. Later in 1996 they became permanent. During this long period they have been working in this same sub division. The remarkable names of such employees are as follows : 1. Samad Ali 2. Biswajit Sarkar 3. Debasis Chakraborty etc.

I therefore request you to take necessary fruitful immediate step in this regard to oblige me.

With deep regret like to inform you that my Voter card no:- GVK3394343 & my wife’s card no- GVK3394350, transfer from Nabagram (Konnagar), Hooghly, Uttapara area & fill 6 A forms in Ramchandra F.P. School, Sonerpur Uttar, Bonhooghly -1, Booth No- 151/43. Kolkata 103 for necessary enrollments. But the name cancelled from the Nabagram, (Konnagar Area), and after Two nos of hearing attended by me & my wife, but in the voter list our name not reflected. Can you help me out to cast my vote at least ones in my life as now I am 53 years old and not able to cast my vote at all, otherwise no use of this types of election...May I forwarded this mail to the election commissioner of New Delhi after receipt your reply please.
