Electrolux AC — bought 3.9.09 stopped functioning within 10 minutes | |
I bought one Electrolux 0.8 ton AC on the evening of September 3, 2009. After installation it worked for 10 minutes ( the swing however did not work at all) After that ten minutes it abruptly stopped. Immediately I phoned up the dealer , M/s ACE TECHNIOMARK, J-36/37, Sector 18, NOIDA, and they in turn registered a compalaint with the customer service centre. When none came till 10.45 in the morning I called up the customer care centre who assued that my compalint is already pending from the evening of 3rd September 2009 and that some service engineers would come to my residence soon. At around 11.15 two service enginneers came and tried to resurrect the dead AC but they could not. They ultimately said the motor is faulty and has to be replaced with a new motor.I refused to get it repaired and reminded the dealer of his promise of replacement within 15 days if the machine is found defective. He ultimately agreed to give anew AC. Well so far it has not come, but I hope he will send a relacement. However this has been bitter experience for me. Now I will never recommend Electrolux product to any one ! Was this information helpful? | |

This is from the complainant himself. Further to this I received a replacement. Only when the old one was being removed did I realise that the product I was supplied the dealer was an old one rusted and all.
