[Resolved] Electrolux Fridge Df44 — Pathetic consumer Support. | |
The Fridge has stopped working on 11/11/2009 . Complaint lodged with local service centre vide complaint no THA [protected]., The service engineer visited us on 12/11/2009 and informed us that the Compressor was faulty and required replacement. Although we had requested immediate action based on the amount of food stuff, we were told that it will take a week to replace the compressor. Till Date, that is 22/11/2009, we are told that the compressor has mot reached the service centre. Follow up complaint with the dealer was lodged on 20/11/2009 vide complaint no. 0911B200044. The fridge is inoperative from 11/11/2009 and the loss due to having to manage food items stored in this large fridge is very high. How does the company expect any customer to keep waiting for so long? Why does the Compnay not provide a temporary replacement in case it is taking such a long time to replace the compressor? Why can't the Company keep some spare compressors at the service centres? Why should any customer buy Electrolux if the company turns a blind eye to customer service? We have now been told that the compressor would reach the service centre on 24th/ 25th and as soon as they receive it they will fix the same. Is there any way I can force a better service from the suppliers? Is there any way the company can be pulled up for holding the customers at ransom? Was this information helpful? | |
