Our Electrolux double door 235 L refrigerator was not cooling properly so we called customer care and lodged a complaint. They say call is attended within 48 hours but the serviceman took more than 3 days to appear. He checked the fridge and told compressor and all parts are ok only gas filter and gas has to be changed. He changed the parts by welding and charged Rs 2600/- on 24/08/2012. He said to keep the fridge ON overnight. But next day it was observed the fridge was not cooling again. We called him again and after making several calls he came and told that now compressor is not working. We asked him that till yesterday compressor was working and now its not working so it may be your fault. But he denied of taking any responsibility of electric parts. Now because of him and the product we are suffering He is saying compressor has to be changed and charges are nearly Rs 3000. Already spent 2600 and now 3000, Why shouldnt we purchase a new fridge of another company then? I dont want to spend a penny more on this fridge now. Was this information helpful? | |||

Now again we lodged a complain on 25/08/2012 but today is 30/08/2012 and no one has ever come to repair the fridge, they say the charges of compressor has to be born by the customer only...pathetic...
