[Resolved]  Elitmus Evaluation Pvt Ltd — Fraud - conduct of test

Dear sir

I am a 2009 graduate from nit surathkal working in an italian mnc in chennai. I was looking to get into a financial firm and hence was looking for opportunities.

I wish to make people aware of the fraud conducted by elitmus.

Elitmus is a placement consultancy which claims to have placed students in premium companies, even at the higher starting packages.

I visited their site first on june 10 and was initially impressed as they had mentioned companies like citibank hiring through them. Hence i registered for the test paying 700 rs on 16th july, 2010. (Note: while making payment, the payment through my first id failed, even after retrying after relogging, the payment failed - it said that this transaction number is already processed - kind of message. I tried calling them alot of times but they never picked the phone - hence, i made a new id (Although they had asked participants not to make double id - as i had no other option) and made the payment through that id and scheduled my test at chennai).
The next day (17th june, 2010) i got a few interview calls from bangalore (Through my own network and not through elitmus) and hence i went to elitmus site to reschedule my test to bangalore. I finished the entire procedure and my test centre was shown as bangalore in "my test" section.
They mentioned in their site that admit card would be generated online on 18th june, 2010 (2 days before test).
Likewise i got my admit card printed. However, when i received my admit card, i saw that the centre was showing as chennai and not bangalore. I immediately tried calling them but no vain. Nobody picked the call even after calling for 20 times in next 2 days.
Finally, i went to the test centre in bangalore with my chennai admit card on test day (20th june, 2010) and requested them to allow me to write the test as it was a fault on their part.
However the test personnel never allowed me to write the test after repeated request and asked me to come to their office next day.
As instructed i went to their office, which seemed like a small 2 bhk flat rented and never looked like a corporate office. When i went to their office next day, they said that it was my fault and not theirs. According to them, i have not done the reschedule properly.
If that was the case, my test centre would have never appeared "bangalore" in my test section.
However, the manager was not willing to listen and i warned them to take the case to consumer court.
Further, i met people in their office who had come complaining about the release of test result which was overdue. Somebody had been told over the phone that they can apply for "citibank"- but now they were telling on the contrary. Later on, speaking to other people i came to know that these people keep on extending the late date of application of companies to lure more people coming for the test.
E. G, the late date of application for wipro - project enginner 7 lpa package was 18th july, which has now been extended to 3rd july.

Its my sincere advice to people not to register for this fake consultancy and make other people rich with your hard earned money and rely on your hardwork and network to get job.

I had cleared iitjee and aieee exams and even during those exams of national status, the candidates having problems regarding admit card or otherwise were allowed to write the test and later the considerations were made. Elitmus is a very small agency and have nothing to brag about so much. Neither do they have a professional approach to any problem, nor they have a humanitarian touch to solve a problem. This institute is made by a good for nothing crowd who only want to pull money out of your pocket giving you no benefit.
