[Resolved]  EMS Speed Post — ARTICLE NOT DELIVERED

Dear Sir/Madam

I am residing at Plot No - 24-1/115, H. NO - 24-648, Road No -, Maruthi Nagar Colony, PO- Trimulgherry, Secunderabad - 500015, Andhra Pradesh. My address comes under the jurisdiction of TRIMULGHERRY POST OFFICE (PIN 500015). On 31 Jan 2009 a speed post was booked by the Regional Transport Authority, Trimulgherry with the No. EN[protected] IN in my name addressed to the above address. The speed post consist of my ORIGINAL DRIVING LICENSE. On 10th of Feb 2009, I went for an enquiry to the post office after taking the tracking number from RTA, on scrutiny the following facts came out :

a) The article was received at Trimulgherry Post Office on 03 Feb 2009. (This was confirmed to me by the staff of the PO after checking their records).

b) The article was not handed over to the Post man for delivery.

c) The concerned staff could not locate the article.

d) The post master asked me to give a written complaint for the same, which I did and he assured me, he will look into the matter and get back to me at the earliest.

e) On 17the Feb I got a letter from the Post Master that the article is missing, and they are sorry for the inconvenience caused to me.

In this whole process I really had a bitter experience with PO service, staff was not ready to help or even understand the need of the customer/consignee. The attitude of the post office staff was rude. I respect them as a Central government employee but they do not take any responsibility for anything, nobody wants to take the responsibility for the lost/misplaced article. Ultimately the consignee is loser and has to suffer.

The staffs have to be trained to handle customers. Their attitude and poor behavior towards customer urgency and whatever you do I am not bother should be changed as they are working in a service industry.

I have made a we complaint with the India post web site also the complaint number is[protected] on 11 Feb 2009, the response to which is still pending. I am sure, the responsible person there would not have open the copmplaint site till date.

In the whole process I am without a driving license till date and awaiting for action from the Post Office side.

Now on 10/10/09 we have not received our consignment, out material is most urgent. You are requested to help us immediately

I write to report that my goods which was sent from your office in Abakaliki, Ebonyi state, Nigeria

through your Company on November 12th, 2009 has not been received. The item track number

(EE[protected]MG ) which they gave me is not valid because I tried to track the item and it did't match

any item .

These goods were supposed to have been sent to this address 339 kimmeridge drive Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70815 USA . It is now almost three months and have not been received or tracked

I urge you to locate the goods immediately and send them to me within one week . I need to hear from you before I take further action.
