[Resolved]  Fake Call From Pakistan +92 Airtel — Fake calls for 25 lakhs lottery from airtel (but actually it is from pakistan)

I also got missed call from number [protected].

I got a miss call on 12 July 2010 from number [protected] (Pakistan). When I dialed back, the person from other told me that I won a lottery of 10 lacks rupees from Airtel. I just told him, I dont want his money and he can keep it.

I think we should not entertain all these kind of calls and Airtel should ban all these fake calls.

yes me too got a miss call from pakistan...at first they gave a miss and then without looking i made a call to them...then a people started saying that i have won a lottery of rs 10 lakhs from AIRTEL... i said i am not interested then he ended the call...beoz i know it was fake but when i gae a look to the dialled number by me...i got shocked it was a international call to pakistan...the no. was [protected]...now what to do...
should i complaint this to nearest police station or not?...

I got a call from number [protected] on 20th july 2010 morning 10:58 am. by Mr Vijay Kumar. when i received the call he told me that that i won a lottery of 25 lacs and provided me number [protected] and told me to call MAHENDRA PRATAP SINGH.
MAHENDRA PRATAP SINGH provided me an options for getting the lottery amount
by purchasing 9900 rupees Dish TV recharge coupons & arrange ID proof then the prize money would be offered at your door in the evening a 06:00P.M.

These fake calls must be banned as soon as possible.and Govt should take the action soon.

I also face this promblem a miss call come 20-july-2010 on +92 code number on my airtel number but i dont call back after that miss call come from +960 code i call back he says asua lu kum who calling after that i cut the phone and then a call come from +590 code he says who calling i said name after that he says wrong number & cut the phone.after all this think i stop my airtel number. pls something do for resolve this promblems

Just now I received one call from [protected]. I think from Pakistan. And guy said to me I got 30, 000 BD (Bahrain Dinnar) from one lottery... I asked to him from which lottery. I did not take any lottery. He said to me this Indian, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Saudi and Bahrain... Lottery. I just asked to him ...Just give Lottery name and company he was speaking Hindi. I am not deep in Hindi. And He told me to buy one 5 BD Batleco Card and recharge in my mobile. And just give that serial number to Him... Again I called him and give the serial number... then he told me with in 5 minutes he will give call and give confirmation...Really I don’t know " What is that Confirmation"

i got a very similar call from pakistan number [protected] on 05aug10, asking to call another number and giving pin code 555. this would get me a lottery of 10 lacs. i immediately searched on the net and cam to know regarding these frauds. he called up again to hurry up and i gave him the hearing of his life. People plz beware, these might be to fund some terrorist activities or dupe people from india. i think govt should ban all d incoming calls from pak, but i dont know what are they doing when so many complaints are already being lodged. Police and media can also play an importnat role in awaring people regarding these scams.

today in afternoon i also got a simmler call from[protected]. he saying that ur cong.ur... ur a lucky draw winner of 10 lack +400 carat. gold and give me a no [protected] (vejay kumar ) and then asked me to purshase the dish tv coupons of value 14000/= and switch o[censored]r phone at least 1 hr. i have not doing, anything then some missed call are coming from same no +92 . i call this no, then saying that 2mrow some people are coming from airtel at 11:00am and giveing ur lucky draw money . i will trace this no. by internet it came out to be a pakistan then i will trace area code it comes out affbanna . ihen i will search airtel services in pakistan . i knoowing that there are no services in pakistan at the time of searching i got this site "fake call from +92... this is very dangerous so be alart,
two people are worked i this dangerous game there are very claver, i will try to catch this type of people by the help of true indian.

same thing happens with me on 07.08.2010. first i got a miss call from [protected]. when i call back that fellow said that he is speaking from Airtel Mumbai headoffice and said congrats u won a lotrey of 15 lakhs and ask me to contact on another no. i said thank you and dissconnected the phone. Then i lodge a complaint with delhi police and given all deltails. let see what action DP takes

I am also a victim of such a fake call. I got a missed call on 16th August morning. Without noticing the number I called them back and came to know that I won a lottery of 25 lacs. As I could smell that it could be a fake call I disconnected it. But now I am worried to know that it was a call from Pakistan. Could anybody suggest me what to do? Should I lodge a complain with Delhi Police?
