On February 12, 2012 we had booked for call taxi service at around 9.30pm for the next day early morning at 6.30. We received a confirmation SMS with the booking code - 2155 stating that the cab would be available at 6.15am. As we had used this call taxi's services many times, we did not suspect anything wrong until 6.30am, Feb 13, 2012.
We did not receive any call from the driver and to our astonishment and disappointment, we received a SMS at 6.10 am, Feb 13, 2012 (just before few mins we were assigned a taxi) stating "Sorry Ur Booking is Cancelled 06:08 - 13/12/2012 Reason - SIR YOUR BOOKING HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO HEAVY ADVANCE BOOKING FOR QUERIES CALL [protected]."
We were supposed to reach our place by 8am as we had an important appointment. Due to this negligent behaviour from the company towards a customer's booking, we are still caught at the other end. This is totally unacceptable and irresponsible from the company, who claim themselves to be leading taxi services.
My question is how can the company personnel accept a booking from a customer, if there were too many advance bookings at that given time?
Is it not important to stand up to the commitment given by the company?
Who would take up the responsibility for the missed appointment or lost deal due to this negligence?
This is a serious issue and a customer should not be taken for granted by any company.
Please do the needful about this complaint.
