FLY E106 — Defects in product

i also purchased FLY E106 it come with pc suit cd in which pc suit was there but it didnt connected with pc bcoz of driver .i updated my os for driver download but nothing happened

How to resolve this PC Suite issue.
Its not working.

i bought a brand new fly e 106 from a big bazzar outlet in nashik on 3rd January 2010.the camera was not working. it hangs for so many times.i approached to big bazar they send me to fly repair centre(serwings).i was told that i will get replacement for camera. but after repeated visits no care has been taken to replace my camera.

I buy the Fly E106 & found the following defects.
1) Company provide the PC suite CD but it doesn't include the driver for PC Suite you needs to contact call center& request for the driver & then the company will provide the driver, I cant understand that why company not provide Driver in PC suite software CD.
2) The Document viewer is not woring at all with any format.
3) Provided manual is very less informative, it does n't consist the information about the verious oprations & supported format.
4) Call center doesn't provide online & telephonic support for quires, they suggest contact to service center for small quries also.
5) Manual says that JAVA applications are installed on handset but i tried lot but unable to install the java on mobile.
6) I brought docomo GPRS for internet use, but Aircel GPRS doesnt works with Fly e106, where as same GPRS working in other phone, I also confirmed all settings from docomo & all settings are correct, aircel suggested me to contact phone mfg, I contacted FLY helpline but they are not able to help on same & instructed me to for service center.
7) Software updates are not available on website or CD provided.

When u connect ur mobile with PC..it must haven shown new hardware found and simultaneously must haven given notification to insert CD...at that instant insert CD...drivers will be installed automatically...now open ur CD from CD driver..and install PC suite ..select COM part...wait for minute..and it will show status as connected...i mysel[censored]se fly handsets and e106...they work beautifully with net connection on PC

I purchased fly E 106 one month back, but have to visited it's service center for 4-5 times in one month. as there is auto restart prob in that which can not be cured by it's service center even. and now instead replacing the handset they send it to bby for further repairing. It's really pathetic to use one month old mobile that is repaired for 4-5 times.

hey i bought my fly e106 but dont in it java is not running neither .jar or .jad file format...battery backup is not high and loosing charges within 1 hour playing any songs...

i bought a new fly e 106 phone

but when i am trying to download games or applications on it


the error will come like "this software may not support your handset"


what it means?

is it support javascript or any other platform?

nice phone ... it is well connecting with pc... no problem.

Try connecting Wammu, Mobile Tools that come with Ubuntu 10.04. It works great for me for Fly e 10

FLY E106 — cannot open downloaded games or softwares

i tried a lot to open games and software which i had downloaded from various sites but no use . i dont know wat to do wit it

FLY E106 — Unresolved same problems even after service for four times

Sir,

I commit the mistake of purchasing Fly handset on 26th January, 2010. And on 30th Jan, I visited your service center and complain about the defected piece.

And send my handset for repairing in your service center since then for very same two defects. But, both of them are unresolved yet.

Yesterday I visited the service center for taking my handset back. But, I was shocked that defects were unresolved moreover, the handset was broken. And one of your representative, Praveen, also misbehaved and was not ready to listen to me. I did not received handset and it is in your custody for the fifth time.

I am fed up of your lethargic and poor service and demand a new handset in place of mine and an extended warranty period too. Otherwise, I am going to Consumer Grievance cell on Monday i.e. 16th August,2010.

U need to switch the mode of Mobile Operation to COM Port and then open the FLY Software. Then the Ports will be detected; if still it is not detected then go to Settings in the Software > Change the COM Port from the Drop down list.

This is the flexibility for the mobile that is not recognized. The Mobile can be connected as COM Device / Webcam / USB based on the requirement.
