[Resolved]  Fommy.co.in — Fommy India - Exemplary bad service

I placed an order (fom71905) for 5073 (Anti-Glare Universal Screen Protectors - Pack of 6) and 83791 (Amzer® Horizontal Slip On Leather Pouch with Ribbon Pull Out) on 16 th July, 2009.

But as I haven't received my shipment till 19th, I sent a mail to [protected]@fommy.co.in. I was notified that apparently SKU 83791 wasn't in stock and you were expecting a re-stock on 21st July, 2009 and the product will be shipped to me "as soon as possible."

In reply to this I have asked following question to your Sr. Process Associate (Operations):


"I have few questions for you or the person concerned:

1. If the item was not available the why your website showed it as available? In fact, it still shows that it has one such piece left!
2. If the item wasn't readily available then why didn't I get a notification mail informing so?
3. What about the other product? If that's in your stock then why it hasn't been shipped yet? If it has been already shipped then what's the tracking number?

If none of these have been shipped by the time you are reading this email then I'd like to cancel my order and have a FULL refund as your service is not even near my expectation. I heard good words from people so I risked buying product from you, it's simple disappointing. I am sorry to say so.

Please respond at your earliest.
Thanks for replying to my previous mail, much appreciated."

But unfortunately, I haven't received any reply from you till this point of time, 24 hours have passed but your much advertised 24x7 Customer Service had failed to answer those simple queries.

Today i talked to one of your customer care executive and I have been "reassured" again that the product will be delivered by next Wednesday (29th July 2009).

Now my question to you is that who will pay for this delay in your service, intentional or not. Why would I pay for such a lack-luster (in other word, crappy) service? Why even haven't you bother to answer my questions? Who do you think answerable to? DO you really think Indian consumers will continue to pay for such "crappy" services and products forever?

I need a convincing explanation from you or otherwise I will take it up in appropriate forums.

Fommy.co.in — Non delivery of order

Made a big mistake by ordering a samsung phone screen protector and case from this site. It's been 12 days and they still haven't shipped my order. They keep calling to tell me I should wait for a day, then 2 days etc. I plan to avoid this site in the future
TotLly Lisa le site. They will take your money and not deliver
