[Resolved]  General — Srilankan Airlines Cheating

After Emirates business tie ups broken, The Srilankan Airlines have had stated to cheat the passengers. When until purchase the tickets a lot of attractive basic facilities are promised but when reach the boarding desk at Colombo "Night Stop Staffs" & including Airport Duty Managers refuse to provide the promised basic facilities.

The best example read the below copied email message conformation from Srilankan Customer Affairs. (This message was given until purchase the ticket, but it was refused to provide after reach Colombo Airport)

Read our painful bad experience as below:
We are about 50 to 60 transit passengers on 29 Jan 2009, reached Colombo airport at 10.05am and connecting flight at 6.00pm, so waiting hours about 8 hours. As per their airlines rules they should be provided free accommodation and food (as per their Airlines confirmation as below) to all o[censored]s. When we approached "Night Stop Staffs" assistance they refused to provide this agreed facilities. At least as a worst option we all requested to provide food facilities, even they mentioned unquoted change rules does not allows to provide food for 8 hours waiting... then we approached duty manager and also no action, and no good treatment all o[censored]s, almost they treated us as a dog / beggars!

At last no way to get any basic promised facilities, upset and hard painful minded we all suffered inside the airport about 8 hours and continued our journey to Dammam / Dubai etc. to keep our promised report time to our employer.

NB: This below copied email confirmation after the travel date change from 22 Jan '09 to 29 Jan '09

Best to avoid this Airline future...

Disputed Land

There is case (case no. OS 1887/2007) lodged in 2nd Addl Civil Judge, Sr Bench, Bangalore towards Survey No. 154 of Kannamangala (whitefield) Bangalore by me. Requested not deal with above mentioned survey. It will be under your risk.
