I placed an order with this company for a "taj" cake to be delivered to my godchild in India. I paid 1600/- for the cake. The cake that was delivered was of such poor quality and nothing similar to a taj cake. There is a taj hotel in goa so I do not undrstand why this was substitutes with a poor equivalent.
I was away from our country (UK) on holiday and as soon as I got back I rang to speak to my family who advised me that the cake was NOT a taj cake ( or even close to such a quality) , it was a cake from a small shop in town - one that you could buy for 500/- rupees maximum!! When I wrote to the company- I was told that becoz I had raised the complaint after 48 hrs had lapsed, nothing could be done. This is in their terms but is this right? Surely I should have more time to raise a complaint.
