[Resolved]  GILMA Chimney Hobs — Pathetic Support

I purchased a GILMA Chimney and a Hob (GST4B) in October 2007. During purchase, I was assured of PROMPT SUPPORT till 12 months, but only after 3 months, this seemed a very notional commitment.

3 days back, while switching ON the hob, the knob simply came out and Gas started leaking. I had no option but to turn off the regulator. I tried calling Gilma Support (phone no. 23149101, Mr Lokesh) but he expressed his inability to come and asked me to keep it pending till 2 - 3 days, When I argued, he simply said go and talk to our heaqd office, we wont come before 3 days.

I tried contacting Gilma company, STOVEKRAFT as well parent VARDHMAN group but neither no Phone number available on Web. Only Fax and email - when sent, Emails Bounced abd Fax is unanswered. I am unable to contact any customer support or service number.

Hello,
Even I am not happy with the service of Gilma, I was planning to purchase a Gilma solar water heater but the response so far was pathetic and I was in a dilemma whether to buy or not from Gilma. After reading all these comments, I feel it is better a pay few thousand bucks more and buy something else than get into this mess with Customer service. Thanks for all your feedback.

I have the same problem as well. its been 3 weeks now that i have been calling them to get a technician to come and fix the hob. Chimney works well but the flame is not coming out enough from the hob. Pathetic service. service number given was 2926 but no one seems to be bothered

As inspired by the product sold on platforms 4 yrs back., purchased on auto lit mechinanical 2 burnur stove which is trouble free till now.further I had purchased v2ss chemny with innova hob and 3 burnur elec.ignition stove // stylo with innova// visto with 4 burnur elec. hob. all are from AS Rao Ngar show room of secundrabad. Of late is is bring to nocite of company the sevice is very very bad and irresponsible. The 3 burnur stove knobs are very delicate and getting broken in moul joints and replacement s are not cared. At the same time v2ss chemney screws are not secured by proper threadings and the fan protection plates are getting off iut is very bad. The auto ignition is out for all 3 burners feelong very sorry for pushing gilma in kitchen. Hope company from Bangalore will act immidiately in rectififying the short comings aand avoid customers from dissatisfaction It is now innova 4 burner stove leakaed gas from one of the reulator attached to burner and a great mishap averted due to prersence of mind. This took place at Nellore (AP) The service people could not act securely repairing the same all this within warranty periods pl care for people saftey rather than just pushing ur sales.

I got GILMA V2BK just few days back. Along with it we got a gas stove G.PLUS which is leaking very badly. we are trying to get assistance from the company from a week but of no use. When ever we call the transfer the call to minimum of three authority. The same process of explaining the problem continues and they end up giving a complaint number every time. you know what we have three complaint number so far and I have no idea weather they have even a little knowledge about why complaint number are provided and what would be further actions.
So should we all family wait for the stove to leak completely and to burst? Have some business ethics because your market increases not only on the basis of number of items you have sold but on the response and quality of service you provide.
Your service should be such that your customer should be happy at the end using your product and not dissatisfied with your service. because a happy customer will refer many to go for the product. have some sense.
This is most horrible and worst company I ever saw. the phone numbers given the website and the warranty card are not attended and I get a message"THIS NUMBER DOES NOT EXIST". this is the status of the company which is there to sell their products which are of poor quality and no service given to the customers of their products. I purchased V2ss chimney and 3B auto ignition stove which are quality wise poor. the chimney screw suddenly came off and the filter is not sitting in the grove as the screw went off and stove knobs are going off near the mould. i gave complaint regarding the chimeny and stove for which auto ignition is not working. no person is attending to the complaint. one person came after repeated phone calls he did not even have the company identity thats one part and he being a technical person did not even come near the chimeny and the stove, did not even touch the things and saw them, from a 7 ft he saw them and told that i will not do this now. i will come with another person tomorrow and that tomorrow still has not come till now. he spoke to us in a rash voice and bluntly rejected to see the stove also. he blindly told that he will not do. he did not bother to explain what should be done to that and he is so well trained that he does not even know the condition of the complaint and neither he is bothered to know that. the customer care people just lodged the complaint and gave me a number. they did not take the details regarding what the complaint is as I told the complaints regarding the chimney and the stove. this is the condition of this company and the people in that company.

if you deal in such way you will have to pay the price of it and loose all your market and confidence of people and customers of your products. My suggestion to prospective buyers for chimenys and stoves do not go for gilma kitchen products (stovekraft pvt. ltd.).
I am planning to by a chimney and Stove may be from Gilma or Faber, After reading comments I am thinkinh just bya obe simple Gas stove and put one exhauts fan, rather then wasting money and strugalling.
I was thinking about Gilam or Faber, after reading all theses comments about Gilma, I am not buying Gilam for sure, even Faber has same feedback, what to do ? Settel for a simpe stove and exhaut fan from some desi company :).By the way why people have not approched consumer forum, You will definitely win your case if company is at fault.
We have purchased Gilma Stove along with Chimey from Gilma dealer in exhibition, they have promissied to deliver the eqipment with in 3days but they failed and after 10days the eqipment was received from them and the amount was paid completely and they told installation person will come fix the equipment. Then we are facing pathetic situation, as of now they have not fixed the eqipment even we called repeatedly to the sales person (Mr.Basha,[protected]. Interestingly when ever we call he will simply tell with 1hr or 30 min person will come and fix the eqipment but they wont. After checking this site we came to know this type of support we will get in the future.

We have given complanit 4 times by calling to the custome care but still there is no response from the company. when ever called to customer care, executives just informing us will check and send the person shortly but till now no one had visited to check the problem. It's a worst service.

We have purchased gilma make hob with 4 burners.The consumption of gas is higher due to poor design of burners.Gas is getting wasted more than its requirement.Company R and D persons to look in to this aspect and save the energy as a national wastage

I purchased Chimney and 4 burner stove on 24th December, 08 it is still under warranty. Initially it worked OK for 14 months then a problem in chimney as blowing instead of sucking and out of 4 burners in one burner gas is leaking by its own. Since from 15 days I am calling to the following nos.[protected]/23215758 but no response so i tried another no. of Indiranagar Service center no. and i gave a complaint for that he has informed me that he will send service man within 2 days after that no respnse.Again I called Nagarbhavi service center i got a same response but no one is attending.Pl kindly do the needful.
Service is non existant. If at all their would be service you can expect it. I don't know what to tell about this company.
We have lodged complaint for Gas leak on 13th Aug'10. He has come on Sat'day partially rectified (he is not much expericenced to address the problem)and charged Rs.150/- and he said he will come on Monday(16th Aug'10) and replace the Batter unit (Rs.225) without further service charges.( He mentioned that Battery unit couldn't get). we are keep on calling to srevice center and no response as such neither he reported.

this is fate of Gilma customers and Poor service.

I saw many review abt gilma chimneys and many more so i was confused and finally decided to check it out and gone through all the company finally i decided to buy Gilma only just bcoz of good service and i want to say i[censored] want to buy Gilma buy only from mysore, m s kitchen kraft, there service is very good there keep there promice, for others we should call in mysore there only call us thats good sign of customer satisfication am happy wth gilma

I have purchased one gilma cimney with stove in combo offer from kundalahalli show room.
At the time of delivery there was one glass broken which they told they will replace but almost 4 months over no one has replaced. I have called almost 50 times to show room and service number alos.

last week i got issue like stove stopped working so I have complained to service number and service request number is 091102. Almost one week over and 3 days i suffered without stove. I got one small from friend and as of now I am using from friend. Yeasterday i called and asked to service people and they are saying already person has come there and complaint is cleared though no one cam there.
I am not able to understand why this all is happening. If it is not possible please let me know I will buy new one from other manufacturer and will not prefer any one to buy this.
