I bought a handbag in May 2010 and in Nov 2010 the strap broke on one side. I just think that you spend a lot of money on these bags they should last alot longer than this. I have previously bought Guess products before and never had any problems with them so and a little disappointed that this has happened.

They can only do this when it is an obvious manufacturing defect (like for example, the metal 'G' comes off or something like that). It doesn't matter how long ago you bought it or if you have the receipt or not, they will usually do an exchange. That's how it is in Canada, but I am sure it is like that everywhere. Don't let an assistant manager tell you they can't do anything. If they do, ask if you can talk to the store manager
