[Resolved]  HCL Technologies Bpo Services At&t — Insufficient Rules & Regulations Forced on Employees

I joined HCL Technologies Bpo Services and working in the from ATNT voice process in N5 center of HCL . i have faced an issue with in the company that i would like to discuss about . i joined HCl 3 months back and i am still new to the company in transition face of my training is going on, i went to the N4 center to meet my friend as i had some important work , their his training was goin on on the basement Derby training room which is on the floor.i had to meet my friend so i entered the floor gate i was surprised that the guard asked me for the mobile phone which i gave to my other friend standing outside the production floor for the time being i would be on the floor ,But to my Surprise The Guard Standing outside took my cell phone and went straight away to the admin department without even listening to me and submitted my cell phone in the admin department when i asked him the reason for this inappropriate behavior he said that now i will not get my cell phone back .

i did not agreed on such insufficient behavior by the guard so i complained about the same in admin . but even the admin department did not listen to me and wanted to confiscate and keep my cell phone .They asked me to take my Sim Card back and submit the cell phone.

when i ask them that when will i get my cell phone back they said we are not sure it may take 1 weak , 10 days or 1 Month , i did not agreed to submit my cell phone as it was not my personal Mobile phone i had Borrowed My brothers Phone for the time being . but the admin was so reluctant to keep my cell phone with them without giving me any time frame that when will i get it back.

i talked with an admin department head Mr.Ravi Sharma and inform him about my urgency of carrying the cell phone with as i am a new to the company and i am not aware of the Policies regarding the Cell phone and i readily understood the situation and admitted my mistake if it happen by mistake.

So then the admin department asked me to submit my I-card and Leave as they asked me to do i submitted my I- Card with them. It was the first time incident and i could be excused for the same by a verbal warning.
but the next day when i came to office i was shocked to know that they will Terminate me from the company if i not submit my cell Phone.

i came back to my center N5 in training informed my team leader about the same Pankaj Bhuttan. i had to take a temporary I -card from now by submitting Rs.100 every day on the gate , and my attendance also started suffering on a daily basis all as without the I-Card i can not Sign in & Sign out. from the company.


As our first point of contact is always our reporting manager so i even discussed the same with my manager about the same as i was facing allot of problem and I WAS NOT ABLE TO CONCENTRATE TOWARDS MY JOB and always had a tension in my mind that what is going to happen next i was always worried i talked with the senior admin MANAGER about the same he understood the situation and excused me for the same stating me to write down an apology letter that the mistake will not happen again , along with a warning letter. So i readily agreed for the same

But in spite of the fact that i had already discussed about the same . i was forcefully asked to put down mt papers and resign from the company just because i was carrying a Mobile phone in the company premises.

this kind of inappropriate behaviors laid down by the companies is not at all acceptable with the new join employees that to in training who are new to the organization and don't even know anything about unsaid Rules and regulations.

i suffered allot of problem just because of these types of inappropriate Rules Set up, but i don't want this thing to happen with any one else in the company So this type o[censored]nsaid rules should not be forced on the new employees of the company.
