[Resolved]  HDFC Bank Bank And CIBIL — Errors in credit reporting

I have availed a personal loan from HDFC Bank and I also have their credit card. I have been paying them properly. then an executive from their personal loan department called me and offered a top up of the loan and collected application and other documents from them. then they informed me that they cannot sanction the same due to bad CIBIL Report. So I applied for the cibil report along with the fee payable to them for the report. I found no credit score of mine in it. I have read somewhere about it. Then on one particular date four different addresses supposed to be mine are reported to cibil by HDFC Bank. 2 of them are not known to me and I never heard such a place. On that particular month HDFC bank made enquiry of my credit report for 6 times and I have only one application submitted to them. I have asked them who such addresses came to their database? Why six reports generated? No proper answer either from cibil or from HDFC Bank. Cibil advises to meet hdfc and they in turn advise to meet cibil. When i gave a notice to hdfc they now says you can approach banking ombudsman. Earlier my credit card was upgraded by them and the report still shows the old cancelled card balance still outstanding from 2005 onwards. their credit card department so far not replied to my complaint. it seems that i can live the rest of my life for sorting out the errors of my credit report.
