My house registery was held on 31st Dec., 2008. Today is 18th March 2009. We took home loan from HDFC Bank. We need xerox copy of my registery. But The banker's person said that we dont receive your registery from registrar office till date. we called them many times to registrar office. every time they could not reach there. first time he told that he is ill. second time he was out of station. we take 10 to 15 leave from office for this purpose. but till date i could not received my xerox copy. i need that for electricity & water connection.

if here is any person who can solve my problem so please help me.
WE are from middle class family. we cant take more leaves.

    CIBIL is a big pain. I agree with the Gurmeet.

    CIBIL should inform the concerned customer of details.

    I am suffering due to one credit card issued 5-6 years back by abn amro. I used for 1 year and then stopped using. they levied annual fees and kept on levying interest and now my name is in CIBIL.

    Also HDFC bank is troubling me in personal loan I took where they are doing cheque deposit as well as electronic debit both. the electronic clearing is not available

      My family has been receiving threatening calls since this morning from telephone no. 30966816 from a person who claims his name is aakash and is calling from hdfc bank. aakash has also called me up on my mobile telling me that one yadav kanchan has taken a loan from your bank giving my reference and that yadav kanchan has defaulted on his payment and as such if i dont pay up he will send some goons to my residence to recover the same.

      Pl clarify the following:
      1. Is the telephone number as stated above belongs to / represents hdfc bank
      2. Is aakash an employee / represantative of hdfc bank
      3. Does hdfc bank give loans just on the basis of references?

      I had also today received a call from one ms shikha of your bank from telephone no.[protected] at around 1 pm which i was unable to answer. i hv since spoken to shikha at around 6.30 pm wherein i had informed her about the above. she had said that she would look into the matter and revert back in 10 - 15 minutes. having not received any communication from her till about 8.30 pm, i again called her up was surpirsed to hear that as per your back records there was no call made to my mobile from the number[protected]. when i informed her that my mobile record shows that there was a call made from the said number she promised that she would again look into the matter and revert within 15 minutes. i hv not received any call as yet.

      You may take notice that i neither have any credit card nor have i taken any loan from hdfc bank.
      I will be lodging a police complaint tomorrow for the threat to my family from your employee / represantative - aakash.
      You may also be advised that a copy of this mail is being forwarded to the media.

        In year 2005 a credit card was issued to me with miss informed facts.
        After two months they came up with a payment of some[protected] rs. against my usage of 4700 aprox.
        Where as I had asked the agent to mark an auto credit transfer facility from my saving account in HDFC bank.
        I cleared the actual payment of 4700 (aprox.) and asked the agent give full & final receipt of the all dues clear certificate.
        This was done.
        After that every six months HDFC used to wake up and ask for the balance payment.
        I tried wasting every time few hours to explain the situation to every body in the department.
        This time after 4 years they again called me for the same.
        I was disturbed beyond the words could explain with decency.
        I want to put up a harassment complaint against the HDFC credit card department.
        I don't know where to do that to set things right.

        Pls help me nail down the miscreants named HDFC collection agents.

          Hi, This Aliyah from delhi, Hdfc executive with name Richa having contact no[protected] used to call me and finally convienced me tot ake bajaj allianze mediclaim, she gave me false commitments to take this mediclaim.when i registered with this policy, few days later i came to know these all was false commitments.i called hdfc customer care, where different ppl was picking phone and saying different things.as i already made payment (E.M.I) for 1st month i was helpless.then i made request to cancel this msediclaim on 2nd of march.even after cancellation request
          i got Credit card stmt having EMI of this mediclaim .
          again i made call to Hdfc Cutomer care, once gain they were unable to give any corret information.
          All Hdfc executives made false commitments and improper knowledge..i dnt know how they are helping customer
          please let me know if i will not pay this EMI against mediclaim then is there will be any intrest rate charge for this.as cancellation process will take 20-25 days and my credit card paymet due date is 4th April 09.

              My parents acquired a home loan from Centurion Bank of Punjab Limited - for :

              Term: 180months
              Amount Sanctioned: Rs.12, 59, 868/-
              Rate of Interest : 10.00% floating
              Date: 6th April 2005

              This loan was then sold to HDFC bank home loans and after paying this for almost 4 years with monthly payment for Rs.13224/- - we receive letters showing our principal amount as:

              Term: 257 months
              New EMI: Rs.13833/-
              Principal Remaining Balance: Rs.11, 68, 954-
              Interest Rate: 12.75% floating

              we have been getting collections calls, which are like harassment because we are never late on pymnts and also they dont clear anything as to why tem is increasing but amount of EMI is high and principal balance is increasing!
              What should be our immediate step?

              We have also ordered for transaction history, but what should we do about the principal balnce? They havent cleared anything on that?

                Hi Everybody

                I am a regular customer of HDFC Bank, I am using its Credit card from over 6 months,
                but in this period, I have never received my card statement, phone banking support is so customer care is so uncaring that they never replied, when I complained them on phone banking. I am seriously thinking about closing all my dealings with them

[protected], valid thru 10/08) and I came to know that the there is some over dues are balance on me, but customer care is not providing any details. I am calling to your collection dept no also at Lucknow and Delhi from last 3 days but no body is picking up the ph.

                Kindly let me know the dues if any, as per my knowledge there is no any balance.



                Kindly advice to your department for connects to me so that the issue/ miscommunication can be resolved. Request you to issue me the NOC certificate.

                  This time you have no rent for this.

                  This is regarding edc machine GPRS machine handover to Bank regarding this I called to customer care ([protected] & TID#44034954 No pick up phone it is very bad Service.
                  HDFC BANK disconnected the EDC machine without any information in writing . Bank employees do NOT help us and co operate with us. their behaviour is rude.

                    Hi,

                    I have a credit card from HDFC Bank[protected].I Pay minimum amount every month.Last month the recovery team called and i told I want to settle the account and let me know the amount.The recovery agent called me and said that I will call you in 3 days.But he did not call.I tried to reach them and was promised that they will call some department in Chennai and will let me know.Now they have held my savings account for Rs.20, 625 without informing me.They cannot do this.Without my knowledge they cannot debit my account.Please help me to recover my amount and also I would like to have a fair settlement.I want compensation from the bank for the inconvenience that they have caused to me.Please let the bank agents reach me at [protected].

                    HDFC Credit Card — Misguided by recovery person

                    Hi, HDFC had provided me Credit card in year 2004-05, i had an outstanding of around 12 thousand. they called me saying that pay the amount in installments, i paid 2 cheques of 4k each. nobody turned after that . i called HDFC they said that card has been cancelled now . and we wont be able to issue another card . I was not ware of it and now its effecting my credit . Please suggest what can be done for this, i appreciate an quick response on this, thanks

                      1) Once payment is done, customer is forgoten
                      2) Promised to send email the same day, not reached even 5 days later. When will hard copy reach?
                      3) Hopeless customer service.
                      4) Cash payment when in recovery division is possible, but other not.
                      5) Statements are sent to my doorstep: my doorstep according to them is my MNC where i work.

                      I had used a total Amount of Rs.600/- from the HDFC credit card for movie ticket purchase. It was my bad luck that I used the card and I didnt have a direct source to pay this amount back. The bank had my email id and my cell number. But never did i get any message saying that your outstanding payment till date is so and so. There were many calls asking me if i needed another credit card. I asked those people if anyone could collect cash payment from me coz i dont have a cheque book. They said that is not possible. The helpline was always busy whenever i tried.

                      Having got no statement and no message or call for almost 6 months, suddenly i get a call from the claims and recovery dept, Bangalore, Airport Road Division from one Mr. Karan. He said I need to pay an amount of Rs. 3715 for the credit card. After 15 mins again he called. Next day morning he called. That day he was ready to send a person to collect cash which was not possible before. To collect 600 a person cant come, but to collect 3715 a person can. There were some calls made, till i reached the office to pay the amount. I paid the entire amount and got the settlement letter. He showed me some sheet wherein some amounts were der as to how my amount came to 3715. But to send the same thing thru mail, has taken him so many days. I asked for a mail having the details of how my amount came to so much and a NOC to help for income tax. That was last friday. Monday i gave a call to remind them. Tuesday also i did. But Mr. Karan is not there at his seat always. Previously it was him who picked up the call everytime i called(quite a number) Friday again I gave a call and they said they are sending it. How am I to believe them?
                      The mail which was supposed to reach me after some time on saturday 07/03/2009 has not reached me till 13/03/2009. If a mail doesnt reach, when should i expect that a hardcopy of the same will reach? And after the payment no call at all.
                      Is this the customer service they provide?
                      Guys, never ever get the credit card from private banks .they offer free credit card and then after few months they will charge amount by diffrent names.

                        I had a HDFC bank account in the statesman house branch, kolkata.The account was a centurion bank of punjab account before it was taken over by HDFC bank.

                        Th reason I had the account created at all was that I wanted a demat account.I could not get a demat account with the bank I normally use as there was a slight spelling mistake of my name in my PAN card.The centurion bank agent assured me that that would not be a problem with his bank and I would easily get a demat account there and for that I needed a savings account there first.

                        I subsequently understood that there was no way a demat account would be created and it was just a trick to get me to create a savings account(the concerned bank agent fobbed me off constantly after that).

                        At the time of account creation I was told to deposit a minimum balance amount of Rs 5000.There was no mention of ATM card charges to by the agent nor was any such charge collected by the bank at the time of account creation.Note that the time of account creation was the end of january, 2008

                        Due to various personal issues I could not take up this for almost a year.I however expected the balance in my account to be the same or a little more(due to interest accumulation) than Rs 5000.
                        When I recently went to close the account I discovered that on March of 2008 they had levied an ATM card charge of Rs 115, which in turn brought down the balance to less than Rs 5000(minimum balance) which in turn attracted "non maintenance of minimum balance" charges of Rs 660 each quarter.the charges for 2 quarters had been deducted.

                        Note that no statement from the bank(since account creation) had come meanwhile to alert me about the state of my balance.Since they did not collect the ATM card charges at the time of account creation nor was I informed of the pending charges afterwards by stements etc., I think the whole procedure to be unfair to me.

                          cheque was issued by head post offece sector 19 noida.
                          you are requested to check where is cheque and why its not cleared and revert back by mail or phone.

                            i also took a loan wellsfargo told my rate would be 8% came to be 9.9% and adjustable. this was my frist time buying and i did not understand much, just knew i was having my own home. i keep up my payment never been late and can not get anyone to refance me.they say it is not a fanny mae loan or the other one. so that is what the obamas plan is for. what about the people just like me. i need help to. i was told to keep the loan a year then refance. i have been trying and nothing.i need help there sould be something out there for people like me. i pay my bills and do not get welfare never have. heard of a lady that takes in forest kids. she has anew moble home a nice person i do know her. she has window airconditioners, the goverment are putting central air for her how crazy is that. i have one window air do not use much 2 times last year. i haveto watch my money. and she gets a new system. i only want a lower intrest rate HELP

Just because there are blogs that are available for such posting of comments doesnot mean anything can be written under the sun, like the way you have expressed with foul lnaguage cannot be well taken.                               Hello Sir/Madam,

                              I would like to register a formal complain against HDFC bank regarding the interest rates of home loans. When RBI used to increase the CRR, repo and reverse repo rates the very same day HDFC used to increase their rates by same bps.
                              When RBI started descreasing their rates, not a single rate cut benifit has been passed on to their existing customers. From the levels in June/July there has been a drop in the key interest rates of more than 3 percent, still no changes to the home loan interest rates.

                              Secondly while taking the loan, their "so-called" sales executives used to talk all great things about HDFC and its transperency. Nowadays they refuse to talk to us.

                                Dear Sir
                                I had purchased your Policy as mentioned in subject, three years back. Date of commencement of policy 13th March 2006. Rs. 15, 000 =00 per year for three years I had given you. At the time of sale, it was told that, I will get back Rs. 45, 000/- + 10 percent interest on the amount, though the policy is depend upon MARKET SITUATION. Your FUND MANAGERS will manage our account, and no NEGATIVE GROWTH will be shown.
                                After one year completion, it was told that your income will increase from next year; we are not showing any NEGATIVE GROWTH.
                                After 2nd year completion the same story was repeated. At the time of 3rd premium payment it was told by Mr. Vipin Siyal the then Asst Branch Manager that I will get 50 percent of the amount after three years completion and 50 percent will get after completion 15 years.
                                After 3rd year completion, I am shocked to listen that, I can take out only Rs. 1000=00.
                                For last three years there is no COMMUNICATION from your side that FUNDS are not getting MANAGED properly by your so called FUND MANAGERS.
                                After three years completion if you are telling me that, there is COMPLETE NEGATIVE GROWTH in my account, then sorry to say I am not going to LISTEN.
                                This is the COMPLETE CASE OF CHEATING by you to yours customers.
                                Please RETURN my complete Rs. 45, 000=00 + 10 percent interest on the same. I am not ready to bear the LOSS of my HARD EARN MONEY because of your INCAPABILITIES. Please note.

                                Even i have the same case where, i was told that that its an investment plan instead of insurance policy.
                                i had paid 2, 00, 000/- and i got 67, 300/- after 3 years. it came a surprise to me that the policy was terminated. I had approached insurance ombusdman, but no use as they are also part of same chain.

                                Mr chandra kumar c was my investment advisor and now this crook is working as a branch manager at HDFC dadar branch.

                                HDFC Standard life agents are moving in the city cheating people.
                                Not only that the HDFC Standard Life itself is fraud under indian law system and that why they have now changed the name after 3 years as HDFC LIFE.

                                  I Jigar K. Thakkar am a Platinum Credit Card holder of HDFC Bank since 2009 .Recently I have been subjected to a Online Credit Card Fraud (Dated:9th February 2012), which consisted of multiple online transaction on my card, Summing up to Rs. 26,800.00
                                  at around 6.00 am.
                                  I had written a letter & Submitted Charge Dispute Form on the very same day for investigation of the transactions. Consequently on 3rd March 2012, I have received a letter from the bank stating that the transaction have been done using my Internet login ID and password & hence I am liable to pay for the same. I would like to express an extreme disappointment in this results of your so called
                                  “ Investigation ’’ Which held’s me liable for some online Scam which I have been a target of. I have been a Loyal Customer to HDFC bank throughout, paying my dues on time.

                                  Hence I request for a through re-investigation of charge dispute
                                  form for all the transactions. I also want the Bank to provide me some Sensible & authentic Proof of the transaction being done from my Computer { IP Address } before accounting me liable for the Debit.                                     This is Suresh Kumar M.I am working for an MNC company in SJR ipark Whitefield. I usually withdraw cash from the CorpBank ATM present in this location using my HDFC Debit card. When I withdrew cash on 23/02/2009 my Total balance as of 23/02/09 was 1, 257.27/- but when I drew 100/- out of my account my balance came down to 957.27/- which actually is supposed to be 1157.27/-.The next when I drew cash from the same CorpBank ATM my Total available balance had increased from 957.27/- to 1057.27/-, however, when I drew another 200/- at that time my available balance came down to 757.27/- from 1057.27/-.There has been a difference of 200/-.Withdrew cash again in the same ATM to find if the amount has been credited back but found that it was not credited back and the balance was 757.27/-.

So I have gone to Shankar Nagar HDFC Branch and fill up the form. I have ask the charges of New ATM Card, so she has told me Rs. 100/- I have told her I want VISA Card, then she told me that if you go to any new card you will be charge the same only of Rs.100/-. But right now the problem is my Account Balance is Rs. -498/- Actually in my account my Bal was Rs. 1.77. I have under-stood the detail. My card is Gold Card. But she has told me you will be charging only Rs.100/-. But this is not fair. Iam not atoll satisfied with your service. Because when Iam in the branch and by confirming to the Branch Person of HDFC Bank then I have Issue the card. This is not fair. I am not happy.

                                      This is to inform you that, I was already paid my dues include waive off amt Rs.4286 in November onwards to Hdfcbank credit card dept after that I was spoken to HDFCBANK Debt customer care dept no[protected]/25300422/25300423 everyday since november onwards but they were given me NOC LETTER from mumbai and chennai but they were not given list to CIBIL Dept yet, why i don't know? i'm getting very troble when i was applied Personal loan, even everyday i was sending mail to them and getting same answer from Hdfcbank card dept that we were already send your fresh list or given my name to cibil list than why my name is not deleting from their list, please take the some action or provide me what i do for the same?                                         I am tired of paying high rate of interest to HDFC for my home loan & I am sure that you guys are as well. When the interest rates go up our floating rate goes up in a flash. when they come down our rates still remain high. We have two options
                                        1) Sit & cry over it. Think nothing can be done.
                                        2) Get together & take the fight to HDFC.

                                        We stand a very good chance. We can go one by one to HDFC they will talk about the prepayment penalty & make it difficult for us.

                                        If we get to 500 & negotiate with HDFC either they bring our rates down or we will sue them & get compensation for the same.


                                        I have created a group for home loan customers like us who want to do something about this.

I also got affected where CBoP got acquired by HDFC Bank and they promptly increased by 1% when market was reducing (by public bank primarily). ow NHDFC Ltd is giving some scheme where u can pay 0.5% of outstanding to reduce the interest rate from 12+% to 9.25%. Both banks are giving house loan to new customers at 9.25% and 8.5% respectively.

                                        Radhika, Advocate: I guess u might not have taken any house loan from private banks. If the looters can hide behind "terms and condition" and continue to fleece "existing customers" what kinda contract is that and how law makers/judges can be blind about that??. Mind you, even the "investment plan subject to market risk" crap fast forwarding murmuring voice got the wrap from court and now atleast somewhat audible, because of the obvious non-accountability of telling the customer that "i told u so about the risk". If the banks somewhat put that in bold font or in first few lines of the hundreds of lines, nobody will go for so call "ever increasing for existing customer" "floating" loan.

                                        In this country, unless affected victims group together and fight back, nothing will happen. including the so called law or whatever crap.

                                        Note: I don't want the private banks to go bankrupt but at the same time it should have "fair trade practices". the "floating" should be almost same (1% +/- is tolerable) for all customers.

                                        The egroups are not active as of now nor approves when i subscribe to it.

                                        We should atleast keep the members discussion public and approve faster, so that more will join and the awareness spreads. There is no point in keep cribbing and giving zombie egroups.

                                        once we get sufficient #, we can protest in front of the banks (after taking permission from police? because i never joined any protest nor know the protocol one has to follow if say 10-20/more folks group at public place (ie. primarily opposite to HDFC Bank branch etc) if any permission reqd. from police etc.) because then only we can bring theirs and media attention about this unethical practices.
