[Resolved] Helios & Matheson — Unethical and criminal activities

I used to work with Helios & Matheson and left the Company after I saw numerous information on the Public Domain about their unethical and criminal activities.
I am so surprised that not a single Regulatory Authority has ever taken any action against Helios & Matheson Information Technology Ltd Chennai a listed Company on Bombay Stock Exchange and National Stock Exchange (India)
They are also listed on Nasdaq in the Name of Helios & Matheson North America Inc

Just today while browsing through the net i came across the following article in Business line on Helios & Matheson Information Technology Ltd - Chennai.

There are many other unethical acts that this company is involved in itseems which are all on the Public Domain.

There is one I saw where there is a court order / judgement by the Bombay High Court against them for cheating, conspiracy, fraud and forgery in regards to an acquisition.

SEBI slaps Rs 50-lakh fine on Helios and Matheson

Chennai, Feb. 15:
The SEBI has imposed a Rs 50-lakh fine on Chennai-based Helios and Matheson Information Technology for ‘alleged irregularity' in trading of the company's shares.
SEBI conducted an investigation into the alleged irregularity for the period February 2005 to September 2006.
Officials of the company could not be reached for a comment.

Also there is an order by the Enforcement Directorate for violation of FEMA a Rs 5 Lacs penalty has been filed on the Company.
Mr Anna Hazare is fighting for corruption in the Country and this shows how such an unethical Company can still operate and list itself on stock exchanges and mislead share holders and no one is there to stop them.

Yah Helios and Matheson is a fraud company, i worked for such worse company which is a black spot in my career. The company HR/ADMIN/FINANCE were not in reachable. After i left the company as they kept me 4 months on bench without paying the salary. this clause is not actually in our appointment letter when we joined but when some client project completes suddenly they were telling. So it’s a cheating and my resource manager said 1 month bench salary will be paid when i pushing into bench but later HR said will only 15 day and even gave lot of trouble for my final settlement. every day hr/finance used say will get u salary by evening but could not happens but days will advance, They have harassed me like this for 3 months. the HR (AVP) Nagaraj is so worst fellow he don’t have ethics looks like he is a best suited for underworld activities. out of my one month pay they paid only 15 days and dragging me for 6 months they said won’t pay.

It’s a fraud company, i suggest nobody should join in this company. law has to take proper action on this company.
They should not be allowed to do any more business.

--> Salary issues - You will not get your salary on right time
--> Accountablity - you will not get any information from the HR persons with regards to the leave, pay scale, and clear explanation on your package
--> These are the list of persons who are in chennai and bangalore.

1) Sathya kala from Bangalore - She will be the HR SPOC. Her mobile phone and the landline phone will be always busy. 100% you cannot reach her. If you are lucky enough to get the phone ringing - she will not answer the phone. You have to call from an unknown number to get her answer the phone. She is one pathetic B_ _ _ H.

2) The HR persons are Prasanna Venkatesan (Payrol Query), Chitra, V Vinoth Kumar (VP), N S Mahesh (VP) - when you esclate any issues, you will not get any reply

3) they say that the salary will be getting credited on 5th of every month - but the sad part is even 15th of the month you will not get the salary.

4) Very Very very pathetic and bad management.

5) This company will teach you on how to beg for your salary.

6) This company is like Dracula. They will suck your Blood and they will have a pleasure bath on it.

7) Every management person (be it a HR person or the management person) in this company will be an A**H**E.

--> Bank Account - The company will create your salary account in Corporation Bank, which does not have an customer care. Yes... buddy, i am not joking. This bank does not have an customer care number. I happened to enter my ATM pin incorrectly 3 time and it got locked. I am in bangalore. I contacted the head branch of the Corporation Bank to unlock the card, they said that "i have to to go to chennai branch (home branch) to do it". How pathetic. you will not get an cheque book with the opening kit.

Advice to professionals joining helios and matheson:

1. DONT JOIN THIS COMPANY
2. Go for an extra mile when you attend interviews. I will not suggest you guys to have a thinking of joining this company
3. When you get an offer from this company - please note that Yama (lord of the hell) is inviting you
4. if you come to know that any of your friends, relatives, family member joining this company - Please advice big time.
5. This company is real fake

Helios & Matheson is an Unethical Company, they have not yet paid employees salary for quite long time even they were not bothered to inform them about the delay in payment or asked for employees to resign.

I resigned the company in Dec-14 since then my F&F is pending.

I would also suggest not to join companies beyond your reach. I cannot go to chennai everyday and give them a heads-up.
