[Resolved]  Hero Honda CBZ Xtreme — Poor mileage of CBZ Xtreme

hello riders..i brot a nw xtreme abt 10 mnths back..the byk is rockin and bit worry abt mileage!!!i guess it needs good long ridez every two weeks across highwayz..as my college is located at arnd 80km awa i ride i daily an ga decent mileage...

i suggest u to go fr a long ride and mainitin a spped of below 60 nad abve 40kmph..

i have an herohonda xtreme byke ihas purchace lost may 2009 till i have rided 8000kms
now iam suffering about my byke there is no milage iam getting pet ltr 30-32kms
plese suggest what i want do. reguarly iam servecing every 1800 kms till ihave not get the
good mailage

i bought cbz xtreame two months before at KRT show room in trichy Tamil Nadu.i got a problem in engine which makes an unpleasant noise, also i lodged the complaint many times to my bike dealer, but there is no proper response for me. i am highly fedup with their irresponsibility.Where should i complaint?

taken bike in may 2009 .my bike give 36 km/lit.i apply all the suggesion given by those but same result.what i do ?
my friend told me to take HONDA UNICORN which has better mileage 51 km/lit. but my uncle told me to take cbz. shut...now i bleme on him.the cbz which launched in 2006 which only give the better mileaged 48 km/lit.
ATFT system is somewhat FAIL.ha ha ha ha...

I have been using the cbz xtreme bike since july 2009.the very complaint i have been facing since then it keeps freqently troubling me when i ever i travel out in rain.every time when i complain to my mechanic & auto service Bahadurgarh service station. mileage is very poor my bike only gives 32km p/hour

i brought cbz extreme last year 2009 in april but i getting 50 to 55 lit/mile ok but i regularlly maintaine my bike with good condition ok, those u are fail to get that mail age, one suggestion don acclerate urs bike intially ok at all condition ok it make u reduce thye mailage
i regularlly travell in bike around 750 to 1000 km per weak ok i am very happy to use this bike compare to other bike

dear friends don use shell petrol. while using shell petrol u might find that the bike will move softly and get superior mileage, the reason behind it is the petrol was an mixture of some adulterated oil. try to avoid using shell petrol. for superior mileage use a standard petrol. don't change the fuel continuously. i[censored] are using unleaded from Indian oil na try to use the same brand petrol for life time or else using other branded fuel na try to use it regularity.don't change the brand. first check weather ur break level is correct coz this is the first reason for reduction of mileage, next check ur engine oil, check u have the correct Tyre pressure.

i am fool, i deserve it. in my first complaint i write cbzxtreme give only 36 km/lit. but it is not, it give above 50 or 58 (km/lit) on straight highway.i tested it... but in city u get only 35 km/lit...
dont take unicorn bcoz its average is more than 4 km as compaire to cbz. i am now happy

actual avg is of cbz on straight highway= 61 km/lit. (power vehicle)
actual avg is o[censored]nicorn on straight highway= 65 km/lit.

You might be using clutch "a lot" . .. . driving at lower gears and very high speed (consistently), both consumes loads of fuel.

So, i[censored] r city traffic is congested, u r bound to have rides in low gears n thus smwat reduced mileage.

Also, Check out i[censored]r wheels are smooth (check the bearings) . . .coz they might be offering resistance to ur bike's motion

If above all is good, then something wrong with ur Engine, sadly

Dude i get a mileage of mere 30km/lt. Y is that man? This bike is going to scrap me to pieces. Don't know what to do, somebody please help?

and one more thing i bought the bike in feb 2009 and it has just been 1 yr and my mechanic was telling me to change my rear wheel brake shoe...because i was having some braking problems...cant believe in just one yr i am having so much of problem...:(

in rear meg wheel there is humbing in my bike when it is 40 km/hour. in top gear(like chad chad).also there is nocking in front disk break. (just like chu chu).
purchase date : 18 dec-2009 & this problem is creat at the date of purchase.
with in this three months i will give my bike in service twise(two time). But the same problem is continue.
