[Resolved] Hero Honda Passion Plus — Battery warranty issue

Hi, I have purchased a new Hero Honda Passion Plus 2 months back. Now there is a problem with the Battery. The dealer is denying to service it, He is asking me to go the OEM of the battery. The Hero Honda Site http://www.herohonda.com/cust_service_policy.htm clearly mention that the dealer will have to get it done and specialyy in case of AMCO. However the dealer is clearly denying. The same was the case for Me.Within five month of purchase the EXIDE SF Batteries was gone.They asked me to go to EXIDE.When i went there they recharged and gave me, but it went of again .When i went again to EXIDE they checked the bike battery output using AMMETER and said RECTIFIER output is high(14.7 instead of 14.2).Your hero honda service engineer should correct it. But in hero honda service they said it is normal. AS a result i am driving without horn and indicator in heavy traffic in chennai.Many of my friend ar facing the problem.We customers are caught in between Hero Honda and Exide.
