[Resolved] Hero Honda Splendor Bike — Engine producing unusual sound | |
Dear Sir, No doubt Hero Honda is a good Brand name in Indian Two wheeler Market & that to Splendor+ have already made its reputation since so many years. Thinking of this I bought a Hero Honda Bike (Splendor plus) last month (Dt 31.08.08) from Hindustan Auto Agency, Bokaro Steel City-827013, Jharkhand. After 10 days of running with only about 200 KM, engine produced ringing sound & get vibrated. With a doubt I checked for engine oil. It was really in a bad condition & was black/brown in color with contaminants. Can anybody expect such thing from a brand new bike? I simply changed the engine oil with fresh one. After another 200 KM of running, again such behaviour started. Now it's only one-month-old bike with 485 KM meter reading, generating irritating noise with vibration & over heating. I think there is definitely a major problem in this engine of the bike. And now I’m finding a suitable place to through it out. Such type of complaints in Hero Honda. Some other complaints also like a shocker and cilencer problem which damage in one year. And then they refuse to change the parts of the bikes. They say only one line "Not is stock" plz come next time and warranty periods end they say that possible to change. I[censored] say that u comes here for several times to change then answer is only no records that u come here in this period.

My Herod Splender 2001 Model. While driving high vibration please give me a suggestion
I have splendor plus bike 2010 module. *PHP Spellcheck Trial* change piston in this but after ruining 200 km produce too much sound & vibration. When I ride this bike after 45 km / speed then start this problem.

I am also facing same issue in my new hero splendor+ bike. Ringing sound came after first free service so i gave complaint about that during second service. They arrested that sound. But after third service that same ringing sound coming in my bike.
