[Resolved] Hindustan Petroleum, LPG Domestic — New method for Refill booking of LPG | |||
Sir, We have received numbers of complaint against new method for Refil booking of LPG for domestic purpose. The old method was to make a call at Gas Agency for the booking of LPG cylinder. It was satisfying & convenient method. but now HP has given one new mobile number [protected]. On that a customer has to book their LPG cylinder. He/She has to first dial the mobile number & then one has to select the language. & then they has to dial their Gas agency's Landline number. After doing this the customer has to dial their six digit customer number. After that if the number is correct one has to dial "1" and again has to dial 1 for refil booking & registration. This all procedure is very much lengthy & tiresome. This procedure takes more then 10to15 minutes which cost to RS 8 to 10. This 10 digit number is of Idea Mobile Service & now it seems like HP has tie up with the company for profit making also to get commission. This is HP's purely vested interest to earn commission.We are asking that this new method should not be mandatory but it should be optional. And if this demand is not accepted by HP then CPAC & many other customers will go for Agitation.The Consumer Protection and Action Committee will file a suit against HP in Consumer Dispute Redressal Forum under Consumer Protection Act 1986.And also file a suit in honorable Gujarat High court or in Supreme Court.
