[Resolved] Holiday Package — Non receipt of Invoice for Holiday Package | |
Ref Membership No. ITBC 0985845; Order No. 0GA[protected] I booked a holiday package for 7 nights and 8 days, as offered to me over phone under booking ID[protected] on 1st Aug,09. I also made a payment of Rs 5943.00 by my Credit Card through IVR channel in favour of India Today Book Club on the same day. After lapse of nearly one month when I started following up on their Customer Care number[protected] for non receipt of any invoice, I was told that the invoice would be sent to me shortly. After waiting for two more weeks I wrote a mail to [protected]@indiatodaybookclub.com on 14-9-09, requesting cancellation of my order and refund of the amount paid. The response came stating that 'no refund can be given since the order has been fully processed'. When I asked for the invoice, they said that the complaint has been forwarded to the concerned department and to wait for some more time. This has been going on since then and during the period I have written 5 mails and got the same general response. Till now I neither have the invoice nor any refund of the amount paid. u Should Always choose a better travel designer. Have u ever heard about coolyatra holidays these guys have got their office in mumbai and they design confirm, refund rules are so easy as they have total control on the hotels they book.try them out some time they dont even have a website right now
Holiday Package — Non Receipt of Refund
Dear Sir:It is for your kind information that on 17th of February 2010 around 11.00 am i received a call from the number[protected], Mr. Pankaj called me.
I booked the air package along with hotel charges at the rate of Rs. 9498 and Rs. 3198. The amount was taken from my Credit card.

and[protected] for Rs. 3198
I called your office at no.[protected] on 18th February 2010 Mr. Gaurav.
But what Mr. Pankaj has told that i will get the Air ticket details and the hotel name within 48 hours. but on calling your helpline number of India Today Book Club i was surprised to get the actual details that its a gift voucher and it will take around 1 and half month. This was not expected from the persons calling in behalf of India Today Book Club. Mr. Pankaj told me wrong things.
I called for cancellation of the booking. The details are as under:

But to my surprise, not expected from India Today Book Club", i have recevied any information regarding the refund, not any information is passed on to me regarding the refund. I have used Credit Card of my freind and he is pressing me hard to get the refund / money back to his account.
