[Resolved]  Homeshop18 — Partial receipt of order for which full payment made

I had placed an order with Home Shop 18 vide order No.[protected] dated 25.06.2010 for supply of two Nos. Paw Printed Bean Bags-XL (Item/Product No.19960, Item SKU No.IDB7284D-Can). The cost of Two Bean bags was Rs.3398/- (Rs.1699X2). I paid this amount of Rs.3398/- through my ICICI bank credit card. I receive an order confirmation mail through which I was confirmed that I will be receiving the goods in 7-8 working days.

Against this order I received only one Bean Bag through post on 12.07.2010. I intimated the matter of short receipt of material on 12.07.2010 through the feed back option in Home Shop 18 website. In reply to this feed back I received a reply on 15.07.2010 that the matter has been forwarded to the respective vendor of HS18 and the matter will be resolved shortly. However I did not receive any further communication in this matter till 17th July’ 10. On 17.07.10 I called HS-18 customer care wherein I was informed that the second Bean Bag has been despatched and I will be receiving the same within two to three days. Having assured by the HS18 executives I waited for the material to be delivered to me but I did not receive the same till 22.07.2010. I called HS-18 customer care again on 22.07.2010 and asked for the courier details of the second Bean Bag dispatch but they failed to provide me any such courier detail. I was further informed by the customer care executive that the second Bean Bag has not been dispatched as the product is not in stock and they are arranging the same for dispatch and I was again assured that I will be receiving the same in a few days.

I have made several calls to home shop 18 customer care center in this matter and every time I have been give false assurances that the matter would be resolved shortly but till date nothing has been done. Since I have paid the entire amount in advance, the material should be delivered to me immediately or else money (Rs.1699/- cost of one Bean Bag) should be refunded to me. As this was my first transaction with Home Shop 18, I had a very bitter shopping experience while dealing with HS 18.

Are you sure the one bag you got is XL size. I was delivered a L size instead of XL. The worst part is the label was forged with a marker. They had put an X in front of L. :-) Stay away from Homeshop18. Even if the company may be good, but their vendors are cheats.
