[Resolved]  Honda activa standard — POOR QUALITY BIKE AND SERVICING

Dear Sir,

1. I had purchased a Honda Activa Standard Model Bike from Samrat Motors,Jyothinagar, Karimnagar on August 2010.

2. I deeply regret to inform you that since the day I purchased the bike there has been some or the other defects arising in frequent intervals as:

(a) At 250 Kms - the headlamp filaments are non functional.
(b) At 500 Kms - the spark plug was found to be defective.
(c) At 700 Kms - the rear wheel got dented.
(c) At 1000Kms - the kick rod was hard and found that the gear had broken, battery completely discharged.
(d) On giving to the showroom, I was shocked to hear that the cylinder bore got worn out, and some multiple defects.

3. The first servicing was carried out on 05 Oct 2010.I had given my bike again to the Fortune Motors, Sainikpuri, Secunderabad on 20 Nov 2010 for the repair and I am yet to be delivered the vehicle. On visiting the showroom I could see that the vehicle is totally strip apart.
4. If I have to survive with this kind of quality and unreliable vehicle with its balance service life, I am afraid how long the vehicle would run onroad and drain me off my money in servicing the vehicle with recurring defects.
5. May I request you to kindly look into the matter and respond to the feasibility to provide me a new reliable vehicle against the one given to me at Whooping cost of Rs. 55000/- (approx).
