Dear Sir,

Sub: Unfair Trade Practice of collecting deposit, keeping it for a long time without
delivering the vehicle and charging the price at prevailing on the date of delivery.
-:O:-

1. I have booked a two wheeler (ACTIVA DLX) on 08/04/2010 with M/s Jupiter Honda, Gajuwaka, Visakhapatnam by paying Rs.1000/-. . Jupiter Honda informed that the vehicle will be delivered with 6 months. As per Booking Form Serial Number 1032, the price of the two wheeler is Rs.44631/-.

2. After a close follow up by sending e-mails to Customer Care of HMSIPL, Jupiter Honda delivered the vehicle on 20/04/2010. As per Invoice No.11IN0043, dated 20/04/2011, the price charged for the two wheeler is Rs.46788/- at the time of delivery.

3. Thus, an amount of Rs.2157/- charged by HMSIPL without attributing any fault on me for the delay in delivery caused by HMSIPL.

4. HMSIPL got a firm order from me by collecting a deposit of Rs.1000/-, so that so that their production can be well planned and in such event any increase in prices of inputs, etc cannot be passed on to the customer.

5. Without delivering the vehicle for a long period of one year, HMSIPL held the deposit of Rs.1000/- with them without paying even any interest.

6. The above is an unfair trade practice on the part of HMSIPL as

(a) After collecting deposit amount and taking a firm order, the prices are not kept firm when such delivery is going to be delayed for a long period of one year,
(b) When such deposit is collected, at least the customer should be compensated by way payment of interest, when delivery is going to be delayed for a long period of one year.
(c) In addition to the above, I got a lot of mental agony for not being having a new vehicle

However, HMSIPL does not choose either of the above. Therefore being a customer, I am at financial loss.

7. Under these circumstances, I hereby already gave a notice to HMSIPL on 17/06/2011 to compensate me Rs.2157/- immediately for the loss caused due to late delivery of vehicle. However there is no reply till date. You are requested to send the above amount by way of Demand Draft to the address given above failing which this will be treated as final notice and appropriate legal action will be proceeded further.

Honda Activa — no delivery on time

Sir,
. From your ad and also from my friend's advice I BOOKED an ACTIVA scooter from one of your authorised dealers:PRATEEK HONDA MOTORS,HANSI on 20TH september 2010 by cheque of Rs.40,000.and my cheque number is 305703 Dt.the dealer was commited that he will deliver the scooty within 15-20 days from the date of cheque delivery.but he not deliver till now .it is approximately 3 months from date of cheque delivery. I ask the dealer about this many times.but their is no response from the dealer.plz cooperate with us and deliver my scooty as soon as possible.
If no action is taken i will be go to consumer court on dated: 9th of december 2010.
